Typical Blue so I meh but then it turn to gold.
I was like cool another rikku but then it turn to rainbow.
At this point I was like cool another dark Fina for the 3rd time but then it became tidus

Yeah, apart from hitting like a damn truck, he is fraking cool and I'm appaled we won't get him anytime soon.
People suggested on Reddit it would be like FF XIII, week one will be Zargabaath, second one with Balthier.

I'm almost tempted to drop a ticket or two on a hopeful Tidus pull but honestly dunno what I'd do with him. It will just mean beginning the TM grind again for another character who serves the same purpose as Orlandeau. But his sprite is soooo good...

I spent some time checking out future enhancements and is it just me or does Tidus' seem really really good?
I can't find another character that gets such a high modifier on their best chaining attack.
Quick Trick+2 720% ST 12 Hit Physical Attack
Not only that but the 60% all stat buff is very useful on that 1 hit attack. He even gets magic dodge on top of his physical dodge in Tackle Slip.
And look at this big attack buff,
Sun Crest+2 +40% ATK & 50% Physical Damage vs Beast & 50% Physical Damage vs Bird & 50% Physical Damage vs Demon & +50% ATK when equipped with Sword.
So he can get 90% more damage straight up as an amazing passive? Like, Gumi loves this boy. I honestly don't see any other unit get this many amazing enchantments.

Got my 3rd 'Letters and Arms' TM for Fryevia. Reserving the last slot for a slayer materia seems fine, I think I have a killer for most relevant types...except machine, guess I'll need to get on top of that.

I farmed 200k over the weekend, burning some energy potions as i had over 900, still have 600+ went from rank 112 to rank 115.
I saw like 3 times the 7 fight battles.
Also this morning i put my self to it and beat the 3 hard battles of the twelve
His enhancements is what made me try and pull for Tidus, aside from being an ff fanboy.
Right now, he's not that powerful. Orlandu, Fryevia and Aileen are better than Tidus because all 3 have built-in imperil. His enhancements more than made up for the lack of imperil.

Couldn't wait so I used raid coin to level Fohlen and test who would be my 2nd DPS with second best gears (so while keeping Noctis at 941 ATK) on training dummy with Diabolos as my only Man-Eater source.
Fohlen 701 ATK : Vortex 190k then Sonic Blast 468k-581k , total in 5 turns : 2.329k
DKCecil 792 ATK : Soul Eater 360k-400k per turns, total : 1.879k
Lightning 763 ATK : Crushing Blow 240k-290k per turns, total : 1.271k (you s*ck so much for a 5*!)
Firion 724 ATK : Fin Briar 200k-240k per turns, total : 1.060k (lmao almost stronger than Lightning)
All without enhancements of course, there is a clear (non-suicidal) winner.
Can't wait for my Dark Knight Soul to be done

Speaking of Lightning what's the chances she ever gets enhancements or anything? To be honest though she needs a different attack all together since Crushing Blow is pure trash. It's almost impressive that despite having dual wield built in she's incapable of hitting decently.
Only a 7* can save her right now. She will probably be the first one.
Feel like her only chance is (if) Alim upgrade her to 7* whenever they'll start rolling them out.

That seems like a very sloppy experiment tbh.
Yeah but I can't chain so it's the best I can do. See who would be more likely do to bigger numbers.
You can't say that DKC/Lightning/Firion is stronger even with stacked killer.
Now with enhancements that would be interesting but need crysts.
Rasler/Ashe are coming up and are 4* units that chain quite well, they served me well on JP. Might want to also consider enhancing Firion -- especially since GL made his enhancements even cheaper.

I now have a goal unit to save all these materials for. Whenever those hit, hopefully I'll have all the necessary ingredients to max him out.

Rem and Y'sh came with DC so I never really focused on it.

. You know. I haven't looked his enhancements at all. At the moment Tidus is just another DPS unit in my party. But wow those are very strong enhancements.
