I know right. All I needed was some recognition that they've seen my query as well.
Nah nah I had a separate issue. Basically any units I hadn't locked were removed from my game after the reset on the 30th. The majority of it was just king minituars from the previous raid, but I was going to use them on the Noctis I got from the guaranteed 5* pull.
And now I can't even buy the gigantuars because they closed the mog king early lol.
Could be worse I guess. At least I still have my locked units lol. And the raid has slowly been getting my Noctis up.

Today is going to be the day of TM's. I can smell it in the air, or maybe my phone's just overheating from running FREP all day. Either way, just hit a level up whilst 4% from the last ones I need for Orlandeau. I'll soon be able to actually contribute to some extent as a friend leader.

Cheers, thanks for the heads up. I am seeing so many ads for it in my various social feeds that I've been tempted to give it a shot. I usually try and limit the number of mobile games I play though.

I'm going to do my own extensive research in regards to this. I never saw any results like that in my 10 runs earlier using both Xon and locke. I know, small sample size.
I'm thinking of doing some lapis refreshes and running the thing 100 times. 50 with the pair on my team, 50 without. And keeping track of what I get of course. I'm just not convinced.

Oh nice! Missed a few of them but at least can get the trials ones and the dragon mail easily. I think I have 3 Sozhe's too, just hope I didn't feed them to each other to free up some space the other day.

I can't speak for Panther Lotus, but I am kind of tired of waiting for some unspecified point in the future for the ability to play the game in a non-painful manner. I have two Agrias waiting in the wings, but she won't make 6* until next month at the earliest when the last FFT mog king comes around and there's no guarantee that her enhancements will hit at the same time. Those are crucial for her viability as it allows her to chain with Orlandu, by far the most common unit on everyone's friend list.
At this point, without a chain pair that can deal good damage, I'm disinclined to do any endgame content simply due to how much of a slog it is. I probably could cook up a team that can slow roll Ultros and Chupon and do the 5-man mission for Echidna, but I really don't want to trudge through another 50 turn, hour-and-a-half marathon.
I don't even want Zargabaath. What use do I have for a support unit? So he and Rikku can buff each other until the boss dies of boredom?
I'm pulling on this banner for two Ashe. If I get Zargabaath, I'll throw my phone at the wall because that could have been Balthier, a great multi-element finisher. Instead, I'll have a support who is probably not as good as Rikku.
After I hit two Ashe, if I hit two Ashe, I'm spending on FFX until I get a rainbow. I have 55k lapis and 180 tickets, and there's no real must-have 4*s until Cro on Kingsguard.
Unless it had increased rainbow odds, no player's choice banner would be as good as the Tidus/Rikku banner.

listen i'm not saying for y'all to PULL RIGHT NOW because you shouldn't, i'm just saying that if you did PULL RIGHT NOW you'd probably have better luck than I did because when I did PULL RIGHT NOW it was bad. But now that I've exercised that PULL RIGHT NOW demon of bad luck, I would definitely not advise for you to PULL RIGHT NOW while Tidus is on the banner.
What's the worst that could happen? You're out 5K lapis? YOLO!!!

You're right I imagine the game is a pain in the ass without a proper chaining team. However, I am always going to tell someone that doesn't buy lapis at all to not yolo pull, especially right now with free summons every day, and another 11 pull at the end of the month. However perfectly viable chainers are in the game right now. Setzer/Chizu and Cupid Art if you pulled two of him. Sure, they aren't Orlandu or Aileen or any other powerhouse, but they still do a good enough job to beat the content out right now while you wait for Agrias to get her 6*. If you haven't pulled any of those units or 2 of at least one of them? Well....then yeah I guess go nuts and yolo away.
I've honestly had more luck dumping a bunch of tickets to get a rainbow compared to pulling on a 5k.
I don't pull 5k that often so my sample size is smaller than most people, but i'm still about 0 for 5? getting a rainbow from a 5k pull. My first one was the guaranteed one lol

Be wary of people scolding you about YOLO pulls!
They're the same people telling you you're not being creative enough to pull together an obscure team of specialists that, if you have the exact right equipment and the same luck you'd have on a pull, you might be able to finish some of these top tier trials without complaint (if you have an hour or several).

You can build him as a chainer and his tanking ability is pretty good
Hes not gonna out tank WoL or Wilhelm but hes more of a support secondary tank and DPS
He also has very high SPR

I totally can empathize with you... I have buddies who can 2 turn content, and talk down to me because I can't (not on gaf)... It's like comparing Jp and Global with them sometimes... Like congrats that your triple Orlandu w/ double Fryevia blow things up. All I can do is Tm farm and try different strategies to do what's necessary~ One day Rngjesus will smile upon me... maybe... hopefully... please?

If I pulled right now... I wouldn't even have better luck than that one. LOL. Think my 5k pull after the guaranteed 5* one was about as shitastic as your pull. I'd like to believe, but I am just not the one that has this luck.
On the sad note... what gets me is if I don't get Tidus now, I don't think I'll ever get him. I only get Rainbows on banner.
Only exception is Gilgamesh. And that was because they HAD to give me something for guaranteed 5*.Luneth? First day of his banner.

And sad thing is I wasn't even going for anything on Christmas banner because I thought it all sucked. Was doing daily pull for daily quest. GG. And Yun's I was puling for Ling.... and didn't even end up with a Ling. LOL. After doing the Lasswell, Fina, and Rain thing and getting those tickets, it's my starting point for OK. Gearing up my alt to try to tackle those trials soon too. Just gotta finish leveling them up. x_x Will save those tickets on alt too.

I know you're exaggerating but ... exactly. The only time I've really been able to save for future banners was literally right after I pulled a Noctis and then a Yun. Easy when you just landed the best units in the game.

Her TM is the best attack materia in the game right now unless you're building an evade Noctis or some shit. I will take Wisdom 90% of the time over Quick Assault. She actually isn't a bad unit either even though we all talk shit about her. Dyer had a good video of him obliterating shit with her....well 5 of her. Oh wait I guess Adventurer 5 is the best ATK materia, but I'm not counting that one yet and it doesn't stack.

I'm going to ask him what 5* bases he has, he started a little after the Halloween update ended... I'm not mad he has more than me, because he DOES regularly buy some lapis... but it's so small in comparison to how much he gets... I think he outshines Hippo...

This is definitely true. I often see DPS units on my friends list and think to myself "why is their HP so low?" I forget how nice that 20% HP is.
That being said I would prefer to not get a second lol.

I am not happy I pulled 5 Queen's, but in all honesty I would take her over just about every other unit minus 4 or 5 at this point. Her TM is just that good. However I now have 4 Wisdom's and 7 Quick Assault's so I don't really need to farm anymore of either of them. My 5th Queen may just sit at level 1 5* for all eternity unless we can combine her TM in the future.

You're totally right, it is a better Materia unless you need an evade build. Once I'm done TM farming rikkus I'm putting Queen in that group.
I also have 3 olives. Her and now queen are my most pulled 5*s
Actually Queen was my Daily Pull today....didnt know she has good TM, but who knows when i will max that one.
PS: This game has received alot of QoL features in the last months. Playing right now and its actually kinda...fun. Hmm...

I can relate. This whole business has left a sour taste in my mouth and it's frustrating. This whole raid event is ass, too. Why give us this moogle and ONLY this moogle? It's not even worth having. I have barely pulled on this raid banner and don't feel like I'm missing anything.
I hope they get your situation taken care of, man. It sucks that they haven't already.
