Making fighting games is expensive business, don't let anyone tell you otherwise.
Yes a lot of people don't understand itMaking fighting games is expensive business, don't let anyone tell you otherwise.
Capcpom already leaked how they rigged MvC:I's first Capcpom Cup."Infiltration is the first Champion here"
WAT?
Oh dear...
I don't doubt at all that the proposal will be accepted as the success of the SFV CPT is very good proof that this can work, what I do wonder is WHO this was meant for. Was it meant for Marvel, for different branches of Capcpom, the "higher ups"?Also to note, the video is called a "proposal", proposals can be rejected :3
I found him guys, kill him.I'm Spartacus
you said you were sure MvCI was in the CPT the other day.
you leaked the video didnt you?
You ruin everything Bronson!
That shocked me too. They really are run more as separate partners rather than two sects of the same entity at this point. One thing that's interesting which the video points out is how Capcom Japan and Capcom USA are seperate entities. I mean we always knew this with Street Fighter. But it's so odd seeing "Capcom Japan will be payed X amount, then marvel, then Capcom US
Wait a minute. Top 14 in the leaderboards. There's 3 platforms the game is releasing on. They're gonna say PS4 only aren't they.
Oh, it is gonna be part of the CPT.
Oh, it is gonna be part of the CPT.
"Exclusive eSports centric in-game items" how about pls don't?
So pretty much what they already do with SFV in the form of the CPT stage and the CPT bundle costumes.Oh, it is gonna be part of the CPT.

Yeah, and I hate that there's now content which will never be obtainable for that game.So pretty much what they already do with SFV in the form of the CPT stage and the CPT bundle costumes.
So did anyone save the video? It's down.
That's now down too.Check a couple of post down from the first posting of it.
That one was working 15 minutes ago.

It's why I realistically didn't mind SFV's small cast at launch and them relegating a lot of characters to DLC. Almost the entire characters were made FROM SCRATCH with animations that I personally believe rival the likes of 3rd strike. For characters that weren't in USF4, they literally WERE made from scratch. The models are all high quality (If someone says Ken's face then please actually use him in-game and not just guffaw at the character select screen) and the costumes are legitimately high quality. When you downsample on PC, the level of detail on everything really shines through:
I've believed for a while that the majority of the initial budget went towards actually making the characters as good as can be and I still stick to that belief.
And it's why MvC:I's blatant DLC-ization of the characters is really pissing me off since they're heavily reusing assets but still didn't include characters they can reuse those assets for because they would make more money as DLC.
They forgot to make the video private and only accessible to specific video before "publishing" the video. A simple case of human error. How on earth was that uploaded as anything but private, lol? I mean, I guess if they wanted to embed it into a PowerPoint without the need to have it locally...
Definitely an investor video. Cool to know what they're considering.
Also see all you cats at the CPT

I'm assuming it'd just be banners and profile stuff.
Can't really imagine a MVC esports stage
That's now down too.
Yup, pretty much.
Friend you don't need to agree with me that hard.Yup, always.
Not really lol. That video blew up all over social media and it was on John D's official youtube channel. It wasn't meant to be seen by the public, it was an error on the uploader's part that made it public. It wasn't really an intentional leak.We have a mole, then.

lmaoCapcops continuing to do great work. They need to siphon some of those dudes into the leak protection department of Capcom.
I think the hundreds of views may have done it.Did the dislike bar clue John D into whether or not the video was public?
