I'm pretty sure it disbanded a while ago. There are more than a few (as far as I know) EU player in the US guild/server, so you should just hop over if you want some company

Yeah, necro is not the class to play if these ele nerfs are enough to make you consider swapping classes lol

edit: for some reason, back button is set to F12 in Xpadder instead of F9, just a heads up. (downloaded it again, just to check it was like that by default)

Intentionally yeah, check the keybindings/read that post, this was the latest update. You'll have to hit F9 on your keyboard once to activate Action Cam when you first start playing if it's not already in it.
Then you can hold down Back to get mouse control, access menus etc; when you let go you're back to Action control.
doing it this way instead of the toggle prevents you from getting "stuck" in the wrong button set which has always been super annoying (i.e. if you have ever tried to use a skill and opened a menu, you were accidentally stuck in the Cursor Mode set).
If you prefer it to be a toggle then as I'm sure you already know you can just switch the binding to F9 in xpadder.

I'll echo what Stuart444 said, nothing noticeable for me. The only times I have issues is when my connection is acting up, but when it's working properly there's no noticeable latency.

Ah, makes sense but I'll stick with the original set up purely because it's what I'm used to.
But I understand why it was changed now (though the picture in the post of the Xpadder set up still shows F9 which is why I mentioned it in my post XD sorry)
Ooh gotcha. I replaced the pics of the in-game keybinds but I should take a new screenshot of Xpadder.

I don't think I am going to be trying this preview weekend (don't wanna spoil anything for myself, I know it's silly to most!) but anyone who does play around with the mounts, please let me know what the default keybind is for it and how it works (i.e. do you have to hold it down to summon, do you just press it again to unsummon or is that a different button) so that I can figure out how to work it into the scheme

Problems with connecting to US servers (from the UK) are more common for me since just before HoT launch(ish) - floaty controls, getting kicked by disconnects and brief spots of not being able to anything but move or jump, these are all part of the regular experience these days. Which is not to say that they're constant or even close to it but it's not as flawless as it used to be.

I would love to get back into the game. I haven't played since about 6 months after release but I did have a lvl 80 necro. How are necros doing now? Just think of it as building hype for Weaver.
Plus it needs to happen if Weaver is primarily a DPS spec and Tempest is supposed to be the dedicated support spec.

I just really really hope there's a beastly power build for Weaver because all my stuff is zerker stats... Would be expensive to convert all my stuff to condition stats.

There is actually a bigger datamine with ALL the things.
What has me worried after seeing it is that many armor/weapon sets seem to work on the idea of an upgrade (Machined-weapon style) I just hope it's less convoluted than the machined skins >_<

It's "only" a handful of tickets, but it really is a bummer that they implemented the change mid-week. It will sound like I'm whining (which I am) but getting through platinum over the weekend and then not having the opportunity to get any more than the old 175 cap just because I did it before the patch is just kinda lame.
Yeah I get that. Would have been nice to least get the additional tickets from the stuff we have done this last few days before the change.
There has been a few times when a WvW change happens mid match week that was kind of annoying, and this is another to add.
Just finished Episode 1 of LWS3. It was fun though tough. Feels like my Ele (full Zerker exotics) is squishy and enemies in large numbers during boss fight recks me. Also my fiance who is also an Ele in similar gear. We both got wrecked.
Still, we did it even if we had to do it naked. I enjoyed it very much. Also forgot how much I like the banter between everyone, especially Canach.
Did have a few technical issues with the DS4 controller. Disconnected and wouldn't be picked up by the computer several times. Somehow fixed it... somehow but I worry about it happening again.
Ignoring that, enjoyed it very much. Tomorrow I'll start episode 2
Side note: Map completion for Bloodstone fen. Got it quickly enough before I did the first instance of episode 1. Didn't even have leyline gliding (only got level 3 gliding iirc) which some people in map chat were talking about (saying how a mesmer was up there taunting people who didn't have ley line gliding for the mastery point)

Eep. I don't like any of them.
It's less about the whole ensemble and more about the individual parts.
Also Guardians apparently are crying about Staff 1 being 300 range. I don't mind at all so ¯\_(ツ
_/¯The other changes to staff make me happy.
Only done episode 1 but I'd say so. Plus new map for each episode I believe (?) so it's all good fun.
Season 3 is really damn good.

No it isnt...some of the fights are a pain in the arse!
The fights in Episode 1 felt tough. my Ele died so quickly. Especially when trying to avoid that spinning boss while trying to line up the laser. And all the enemies besides the boss.
Ah well. I'm just getting back into it as well so that might have something to do with it. Getting used to all my skills again.
Worst case scenario, get people to come in and help XD.
Oh boy, I need to hurry up before they lock lw3 behind gems.
By the way, is the final battle in HoT supposed to be solo'ed? Because I have that one pending too.
Well I've seen vids of it being solo'd on youtube. I duo'd it with my fiance though, not tried it solo.
It is meant to be doable solo. It's wayyy more challenging than the Zhaitan fight though.
You can do it in a group like any other story which makes it easier.
The only thing that is absolutely meant for a party of 5 is the 'Migraine' achievement in this instance.

I've solo'd it on my mesmer and my ranger. I found it to be a pain in the ass though.
