Maybe two guardians that hold Aegis' and have to keep a particle stream created by it pointed at third while three run add control to empower their attacker.

There's a lot of places they could go with cool mechanics that I felt D1 probably couldn't support, maybe maybe this game can if they thought to put the systems in the engine.

They can definitely do that with the sub abilities they introduced, IE the warlocks healing or the Titans shield ability.

Had a spot with my clan but bounced to watch the champions league. Spot is all filled now.

Destiny Raid Designer has to be one of the hardest game jobs in the world IMO. There's a fine line in coming up with mechanics that are fun and not too punishing, and those that are terribly annoying and convoluted. Plus to keep it fresh you kinda of need to think up totally new mechanics out of the box, outside of the over arching set pieces. And there's probably and engine guy in the room telling you they "don't have any way to do that".

I'd envy them - cause they're some of the best level designers in games currently.

Story seems to be quite fast on an alt. Give yourself a sparrow from the main, and then make heavy use fo event farming/enemies moving against each other to level fast, then just blow though it. The story is only a few missions long after all.

Funny enough even when we have videos about the raid most people will still take a long time as you watch the video and try to find the spots where the treasure chests are.

Odd question. Has the reward structure changed for the Nightfall since D1? Like if you run the Nightfall with a character more than once.

I am just planning my week to see if I need to Power level my second character to run the Nightfall with two groups of people.

Milestones are per character. Other rewards, such as your clan leveling up and getting a powerful/exotic engram, are per account.

Some really dumb moments on the story too though upon replaying it. Just did the last mission on Nessus and it's so oddly laid out.
Asks you to kill a giant Vex and a Captain. Then gives you a rocket launcher and set piece soundtrack to blow up 10 regular Fallen...

Calus looks like a very cool dude, why would you defeat him lol. I already like him way much than Ghaul

This Raid looks like beyond boredom. I love the level art
really Warframe like surprisingly
, but I think Bungie went way too far with the puzzle. Puzzles have always been a part of the Raid, but they were linked to Bosses, which imo, is missing from this raid.

But the Calus fight looks really cool on the other hand.
