I agree; time to ban baseball.
Liberals: Yes! Racism is part of our roots and we need to do better!
Conservatives: Yes! Racism is part of our roots and that's okay, it's our tradition.
I really don't know how to read into this.
Haha. I'm sure it'll read differently to people depending on their worldview.
I'm legit flabbergasted that people thing this is ambiguous
Have you ever met a conservative that actually thinks of themselves as a racist? Think, guys.
Have you ever met a conservative that actually thinks of themselves as a racist? Think, guys.
Racists and conservatives almost never identify themselves as racists
Yes.Have you ever met a conservative that actually thinks of themselves as a racist? Think, guys.
They're correct.
Whether or not these people are allies or racists themselves feels impossible to decipher until you realize that almost no racist ever actually considers himself a racist.
I'm gonna go with this is a pro racist stunt.
AyyYou know it was anti-racism because it was in Boston and they were removed.
Well I can't know for sure so it's really just a gut feeling. Let's talk about it though, why are you so sure it's anti-racism?... I don't understand this view at all. You guys are nuts.
Same. It's obviously anti-racism to me.I'm legit flabbergasted that people thing this is ambiguous
Hmmm didn't think it was ambiguous until reading down the thread.
Raceshack Test.
Have you ever met a conservative that actually thinks of themselves as a racist? Think, guys.
Either way you read it is damning to America.
As a non-American, I thought only the south was stereotyped as being racist. Why Boston?
ponpo pls
The ambiguity leads me to believe this is them trying to get both sides worked up to turn this into a money maker for them.
I can't tell if that's pro racism or anti racism.
Not as important as it was in the past?
You know it was anti-racism because it was in Boston and they were removed.
This isn't ambiguous at all, it's clearly anti-racism. Yeah, I know it's Boston, but it's very clearly calling out America's racist history.
Same lol.I can't tell if that's pro racism or anti racism.
This isn't a shitpost or some stealth ignorance thing, I really haven't seen it before.
As a non-American, I thought only the south was stereotyped as being racist. Why Boston?
There is a history of racism there. We have racism all across the country but Boston was particularly bad for the more progressive areas of the country,This isn't a shitpost or some stealth ignorance thing, I really haven't seen it before.
How is this ambiguous?
As a non-American, I thought only the south was stereotyped as being racist. Why Boston?
people in the north and in predominantly liberal areas like to pretend racism is only in the south or at least much stronger, but it's pretty evenly distributed these days.
There is a history of racism there. We have racism all across the country but Boston was particularly bad for the more progressive areas of the country,
Boston has a long history of racism, much of it stemming from anti-bussing riots in the 70's. It continues to be a very white city with an unfortunately large group of very vocal asshole racists.
Let's be clear - Boston has a problem with racism, but this sign isn't part of it.
Boston typically gets called out as the most racist city in the north.
You know it was anti-racism because it was in Boston and they were removed.
