Because wearing badass armor makes you more confident.

The provocation resistance is based on how cool you look, right?

The system is a little weird, if you consider taunt as some sort of spell/command it would probably be more magical armour related or maybe some sort of intelligence/wits check.

I love how all the fights are designed, no trash fights, though the game still suffers from minor differences in gear and level turning an impossible fight into a trivial one.

Figment is an action-adventure game that invites you to explore a unique surreal universe filled with music, humor and multi layered narrative. Join Dusty and his ever-optimistic friend, Piper, on an adventure through the different sides of the mind seeking to restore the courage that's been lost.

Oh rock of ages, do not crumble, love is breathing still. Oh lady moon shine down, a little people magic if you will.
My mom's laptop broke down last week and somehow, because of that, I gave my parent's my PC and bought myself a new one.

It's been a strange week.
A lot better then the last couple of months, although that's not much of a challenge.

My PC was no slouch but this has been one heck of an upgrade.
Quite enjoying the GTX1080, for example.
(enthousiastic, decently controlled but loud on the inside yay!)

With that said; Hello SteamGAF. It's been a while. :)

According to steamspy DOS2 sold 350K copies
http://steamspy.com/app/435150

According to Eurogamer on the other hand it has sold nearly 500k copies already.

http://www.eurogamer.net/amp/2017-0...-2-roars-out-of-the-gates-to-nearly-500k-sold

So the game supposedly sold over 100K copies DRM-Free? That's quite impressive, nearly 25%.

We also need to consider SteamSpy delay. Eurogamer got their today's data straight from Larian, who have live sales number data.

SteamSpy, on the other hand, needs to wait for at least a couple more days to get today's data.

Some keys I forgot about. For the Walking Dead, make sure to redeem it before 10AM Pacific on Saturday, September 23rd, 2017. Doubt anyone in this thread will take it so it'll probably expire, but who knows, maybe someone missed the giveaway.

Jasec I need your expertise.

Whats going on with the Marvel keys at cdkeys. They changed it to EU recently, which is fine (well except for US getting fucked), but someone was saying its Eastern Europe only on another thread. Is there such a thing as a eastern european only steam key?

cdkeys lists these regions on the Marvel page:

Works in Europe, Middle East, Africa, Australia & New Zealand

so whats going on?

I thought the lag is only relevant at the beginning. So when do you expect we can compare steamspies numbers to the devs sales numbers to get the rough split?

Due to how it collects data, Steamspy is innacurate everytime numbers change a lot in a short span of time. Usually that's at release or during a sale.

PUBG is selling so much, the numbers are always lagging behind.

It's common for larger publishers to heavily region-lock keys intended for Eastern Europe, but CD Keys doesn't deal in those, plus it wouldn't make any sense to use the European Union flag as the denotation. The package its keys will activate is this one.

GMG is sending out MvC keys. 55gb gg. I kinda regret not just buying it again from CDKeys with the extra discount.

"If you are planning on giving away a game outside the Steam thread, you should include a rule to indicate which thread you will post the giveaway in. Imagine, for example, you are giving away Divinity: Original Sin in the Official Thread for the game. Adding a rule for this is as simple as putting the word THREAD and then a link to the thread you want to post the game in. It has to be a link to the thread, not a link to the POST. So it has to have the ?t= part in the URL. If you just posted a new thread, the URL you are redirected to does NOT have the thread URL, so be sure you get this right. Here's a visual example:"

soooo... do I have to put THREAD LINK for both the thread I want and steamgaf?

It's not necessary, just edits may fail until post appears in search iirc. and you can't use nolurkers rule.

That "lag" is always there, that's how it's designed, and how it samples stuff. At this point, the Steamspy creator should really think about just showing "Current Date - 3 days" and leaving always two days blank.
People just don't get statistics.

Another reason with PUBG is that it actually increases the number of people on Steam total, so Steamspy needs to be updated with a larger range of Steam IDs. Think about how insane this is.

It takes a couple weeks and it's only been a few days, give it time.

Anytime the numbers continue to jump up will deliver a period of uncertainty as the underlying statistics catches up. Steamspy can only scan so many profiles per day, so there is an error associated with the numbers until sales level off.

Yeah, I think that would fix the primary issue people have with interpreting SteamSpy data.

Also, a note about statistical fluctuation needs to be more prominent, so that people don't ask "why did thousands refund game X" whenever there's a bit of a jump.

K? I just saying I think it's dumb they couldn't put more than 4 women in this game. Especially since both Marvel and Capcom have some really cool ladies they could have added.
On the one hand I agree, looking at the roster now they could've swapped out a few of these characters with female characters
Dr. Strange, Dormamu, Ghost Rider, Hawkeye, Nova
Arthur, Chris, Firebrand, Nemesis, Nathan, Firebrand

Like we could've got say She-Hulk at least and another female Capcom rep.

As is, eh this is what we got for the base roster, and if one were to look past the roster, they'll find the usual Mahvel madness and to me that's good enough long as the gameplay is good.

Note that EU Steam copy of Mahvel Inf. is still cheap over at CDKeys if anyone is still interested in getting it
https://www.cdkeys.com/pc/games/marvel-vs-capcom-infinite-pc-steam-cd-key

On the whole though I am looking forward to playing it, but the roster complaints (not the lack of female characters) are understandable as it pales in comparison to what Capcom did with TvC and (U)MvC3, esp. that the more interesting characters are regulated to DLC (sIGMA, Black Panther). Hence I'd recommend picking up a 2017 or 2018 edition of the game if ever it goes cheap.
