I'm curious, if one doesn't have the same emblem/never unlocked this one, how does he what the number is referencing to? Like, I can't remember what emblem do what, I may cofound this number of your flawless victories in Trials.
Maybe by inspecting your build? Not really time friendly I guess.
Good to know. You think they make up for the lack of tracking on a RL ?

Not saying there aren't other options out there. Merciless is probably the easiest to use in everyone of those scenarios. And really, there aren't really many guns that are worth the Exotic Slot right now (Mida the exception, but due to things not at range in the raid, auto rifles do the trick).
Merciless is sick, mine has hardly left the slot. It's just not close damage wise when you have a really big target who takes so many cluster hits. I can't imagine anything is.

Definitely. I've been with the franchise, for better or for worse, since day 1 so I'm familiar with the Bungie Way. It's just amazing they're so shameless about it.

Leave it to my boy Zavala to hook me up with Nameless Midnight. Been farming legendaries like crazy trying to land this and finally got it, with a +5 mod no less. I didn't hesitate to infuse my 291 MIDA-multi into it, so on top of getting a much better gun, I no longer have to waste an exotic slot on a decent but unremarkable scout rifle for the sake of PL.
Awesome weapon btw...feels just like my beloved explosive round "Not Like The Others" from Year 2.

Hey when you decrypt engrams.. Does the power of it go by the power and level you're at when you decrypt or when you got the engrams?
The vast majority of players wont notice or care. And those who do can probably tell the emblems apart.
When it drops the Power Level is set.
My experience with the weapon + what Ive heard about it. Some standouts:
Nightshade, Endless Midnight, Last Hope, Uriels Gift, Hawthorns shotty, Old Fashioned, Annual Skate, Manannan, Main Ingredient.

Anyone running through the raid boss?
Just depends if you like using that weapon.
Not aware of any, but I've shredded pretty much every RL I have gotten so far without paying much attention.
I keep one of everything - a strategy that has served me very well since Destiny launched.

Ive been pretty sticky with my sharding of legendary gear. Want to see what develops with the meta about what guns are best in slot. (and of course to play with each one to see for myself).
Off the bad, do not shard:

Are there any people here that would like to help me beat the Raids final boss?
I was with a random crew couple of days ago and we finished the session once we reached the final boss. I'd preferably have people who want to finish the Raid with their alt.characters so that they have finished the Raid before.

It's pretty easy to get, depending on timezones I can help. I still need one for my last guy.
Put them into other things or shard them if they are low level

If you are on the last step of the quest the nightfall that is going to reset late tonight is the one to do it on. We finished it last night with over 8 minutes left on the timer.

I've just been shedding duplicates mostly - I have a bit of a collector's mentality going and I also don't want to regret anything later. Legendaries (and exotics) are so abundant, if you put some time in, you'll have plenty of shards - unless, perhaps, you go infusion crazy.
Plus, at 280, you'll be able to "buy" shards by creating legendary weapon mods through the Gunsmith, and dismantling them.
It is absolutely so fun, great for PVE. I've played with this build for like 50 light levels, I'm hitting a point I think I need to switch to stronger stuff though due to my guns being around 220 and I'm about 260~. I'm waiting on some higher level SMG drops or a good legendary/exotic to buff up as I go on.
Switching back to a "normal" loadout has been a slog since I'm so used to no-reload gameplay lol.
I agree so much. I know there are a few people are chatting about... mida multi/mini, hunter arrow class + orphus rig, war pig + sweet business. They're all very simple though, no complex builds yet.
I'm definitely going to get an entire top to bottom load out to support this dual SMG build.
the only answer is yes.
I think it is one of the best exotic weapons, I'd definitely want to have one around.
