It's a DICE fps campaign, you should already be worried about it

I can't wait, I think its going to be great...I am a little sad that we haven't got these multi-crew transport ships like in the original Battlefront games:
Flying across the battle below with your character holding onto the bar above in third person just looked cool. Those ships plus the battle on Geonosis would be great.
Where's walker assault?
Where's walker assault?
Galactic Assault may 'include' this. Apparently the objectives are different depending on map/setting for this mode. Anyone know, did they go into detail on this yet with planet by planet breakdowns yet? I'm guessing not?

As far as I know Hoth is still Walker Assault as we know it. Endor is apparently reversed. Rebels steal a walker and have to escort it to destroy an Imperial facility.Galactic Assault may 'include' this. Apparently the objectives are different depending on map/setting for this mode. To me the biggest glaring omission is there is no Anakin and Obi-Wan as heroes with Mustafar as a map.
Hopefully they come after Finn and Phasma

Here is the description of each galactic assault map.
From the leaks they apparently have Kenobi and Grievous as a Hero Pair (think Luke to Vader, Finn to Phasma, Han to Boba, etc) but they are having issues getting Grievous finished due to him not fitting the standard body plan. It apparently took them months and months to get Yoda working and finished because of that. When Grievous is done they'll release him and Kenobi. I'm assuming that if they for whatever reason they can't get Grievous to work at all, they'll still release Kenobi.

It's a bit weird though.
Like why have Yoda and Maul as the pair? Did they fight in TCW? Seems like Yoda and Dooku or Yoda and Sidious would be a better pair. You'd think Obi-Wan would be paired with Maul.
Also they have Leia paired with the Emperor and Lando with Iden. I assume the latter because we know that Bespin is a location in the story.

Will the feel of the gameplay be the same as Battlefront 1? I found the gameplay/gunplay to be but more mindless and frantic than typical satisfying shooters such as CoD, standard Battlefield etc. where you can survive for more than a minute at a time if you are pretty decent and employ some strategy and skill
Should we expect the same shallowness to the feel of gameplay and expect to just run n gun, die, quickly respawn, rinse, repeat?

Hi.SG-17 is here, so I'm sure he'll thoroughly tell you why you're wrong about these things shortly (and I would agree with him). But it was reported a while back that there were some aspects that they they tweaked to move the gameplay mechanics more towards Battlefield, and away from BF2015. So that'll probably make you happy.
Yes, you are wrong. Battlefront had a unique skill curve where it was mostly flat until it shot straight up at the end. It was easy to learn and play but very hard to master. Skilled players would last entire matches without dying or dying only in single digits. The gunplay was actually very similar to the originals with a focus on hipfire and mobility, with a lack of recoil and penalties for shooting while moving. It was old school gameplay that has been beaten out of players by COD and modern Battlefield. Will the feel of the gameplay be the same as Battlefront 1? Hi.
The new game is unfortunately moving towards a more modern style of gameplay.

This is the best news I've heard regarding this gameSG-17 is here, so I'm sure he'll thoroughly tell you why you're wrong about these things shortly (and I would agree with him). The guns in BF15 felt so fucking terrible to use
Will they sell me JUST the campaign without the multi-player at a discount?
Like, you can buy the game for $30 and for that price you unlock either single or multiplayer, and then you can add the other one for additional $30 if you desire both.

Bah.Wow
Consider my hype levels raised a LOT.
This is the absolute best news I've heard about the game too

Bah.
I didn't think the guns felt terrible to use, but I felt like the gunplay itself lacked depth an didn't feel very satisfying at all.
Yes. Part of TLJ "season" of content. Is Crait meant to be added at the same time as Finn and Phasma? I can't remember exactly what they said
Open beta next week, just download it and see if you like it.Can anyone nail down where this information came from and validate that it has actually happened and carried through to the final product (or beta)?
Can't seem to find this information out there. The videos we've seen *do* look a little different gameplay-feel-wise, but I can't put my finger on how....
Bah.
All of the big team stuff has been condensed into one playlist which seems to have a different objective (or series of objectives) per map.
So another new multiplayer game where I can't chose the mode I want to play? What's up with that shit in recent games?!Galactic Assault may 'include' this. Apparently the objectives are different depending on map/setting for this mode. Anyone know, did they go into detail on this yet with planet by planet breakdowns yet? I'm guessing not?
...no? It's just the objectives in Galactic Assault are tailored to each map to make a narrative. So another new multiplayer game where I can't chose the mode I want to play? What's up with that shit in recent games?!
Looks amazing to be honest. Also I need John Boyega narrating more things.
