You guys expecting focus on online or singleplayer
For the game itself or the trailer? Either way, I think it'll be extremely single player focused. No reason to interfere with GTA Online. I expect the game will focus heavily on your actions causing lots of unexpected consequences, so no one will experience quite the same story, kind of like The Witcher series.

Singleplayer

Plus I doubt that RDR2 online will be remotely as extensive as GTA5 online.
The setting alone doesn't give you as much possibilities or freedom for as much online content.
Well, thats if they won't go complitly nuts with it of course, which can happen on the other hand lol.

Hope what they show is worth the hype. Or a megaton announcement as RDR remastered available for download TODAY.

RDR was my GOTG, and maybe a Top Ten ever for me. So many fond memories, like riding into the sunset, exploring mines, climbing a huge mountain just to be killed in a second by a Bear (ok, that's not so fond).

Easy to say, RDR 2 is my most awaited game this gen. Hope it delivers.

Aux contraire! If anything GTA V has shown them how big online will be.

It will be huge - not saying that SP will necessarily suffer though - it will also be huge.

The Battle Royale mode will be a hit I´m sure.

So excited for this. The only game my wife and I took turns to finish the story for. I remember one time she was enjoying the view on horseback and got mauled my a cougar.

I'm not expecting a whole lot of gameplay personally. Just a ton of focus on the characters / plot / setting and whatever the big draw is that makes this game stand apart from Redemption 1. Whether that's multiple playable protagonist or some thing else along those lines.

Think they will save the heavy gameplay reveals / online for a later date closer to release

This so much!!!

I remember how actually Vice City had that enterable shopping mall and IV of course had the Burger Shots and Cluckin' Bell and car dealers you could enter. You'd think with the sequel they would only improve on it but nope. But like others said it could very well have to do with the hardware they had to work with. With the hardware they have now much more should be possible. It's probably going to be great. I'd like for many buildings to be enterable in RDR2 and really, how many buildings will it even have compared to GTA games?

Yea hopefully we at least get enterable saloons and gun shops. Banks too of course. Gotta perform some sweet, sweet bank robberies.

Given that RDR2 is coming sometime in 2018, that probably puts GTA VI at Fall 2021.

RDR - May 2010 ----> GTA V - September 2013.

Total hype. 15 minutes!

I hope it is a meaty trailer...but you never know...it could be another similar trailer like last year.

release date would be nice too even though you already know it will be pushed back at least once. No way it is coming this year, but I take a surprise announcement of RDR Remaster :)

I'm thinking spring 18....May hopefully...BIG BUCKS NO WHAMMIES!

Sadly I won’t be getting this until it comes out on Steam which would probably 2019? I would gladly take a switch version with RDR visuals

Yeah but if they could give us a new L.A. Noire and Max Payne in between, I’d be shocked. It’d be so nice to have Bully back too...

Not if the next gen consoles arrive before the end of 2020.
Because then you can be damn sure that they will release it for current gen before that.

probably but I will say Rockstar have been pretty good about the way they handle it so far in GTAO and they're making obscene amounts of money doing it so fingers crossed.

I'd say it's the exact opposite in that they've been handling it poorly. At least, from a consumer perspective in that everything from the "free" updates costs a fortune of in-game current that requires excessive grinding to get what you want, or biting the bullet and pay the game real money. It's almost P2W in terms of how hard you're going to get griefed in free roam because you lack the cool toys everyone else has.
