So I've got some interesting feelings about this. My gut is that the Styles/Balor match was penciled in for Survivor Series (seeing as it's a cross-brand match), and that they felt that since they can't put the cap on the Wyatt/Balor feud, they fast tracked Styles/Balor for Sunday since that was next in line for them. I think they're planning on doing some Club shenanigans with this, but that's entirely reliant on them wanting to make Styles/Balor a long-term feud. The material is there if they're willing to play off of it.

it's the friday before a fucking c-tier ppv, there's no tv left and you've been dealt a really shitty hand, you don't have to try and pop a ppv buyrate anymore because of the network, why not just work the "against all odds" angle and make the tlc match a 2 on 5, and then do some weird cgi fuckery that causes sister abagail to attack finn balor backstage, causing the match to not happen.

like the fact that vince must have lost his shit and felt he needed these crazy last minute replacements for this show is a hilarious visual

– Kevin Owens’ exit from the Argentina tour is due to family reasons, according to a new report. Owens went home from the tour and SportsKeeda reports that the exit was not due to illness reasons, unlike the illness that cause the TLC card to be shifted.

According to the site, Owens had a “family situation” that was unavoidable. The site notes that Owens is still in good standing with the company and that everything was approved by WWE officials. Owens is still “100% dedicated” to the company, who are understanding that family comes first in the situation.

WWE sent out an announcement after Owens left the tour which read, “Kevin Owens left Buenos Aires today and will not appear at the remaining Live Events in Argentina and Chile this weekend, WWE.com has learned. Though Owens did perform at Luna Park for Thursday night’s Live Event in Buenos Aires, he has left before the remaining Live Event dates scheduled in Argentina for tonight, and at the Movistar Arena in Santiago, Chile, this Friday and Saturday, due to personal reasons.”

I like Bray's character a lot but I definitely think they could go back to basics with it. Tone down the "I'm a god" shit and have the supernatural stuff be a little more rare but still an important part of the character.

I think a face turn would help a lot too because it will allow him to connect with the fans more in his promos and play off them in his matches while relying less on the supernatural/underhandedness that makes him look weak. If they did that they could build him and actually keep him built up instead of the constant struggle that losing feuds has resulted in.

I'll just post a link to this match because it's really a perfect example of what they should be doing with Bray in my opinion. It's a shame that the injury threw whatever they had planned at this point off the rails.

The segment was stupid, but it's literally just the Demon except orange. The match was going to suck because we've seen it a hundred times and Bray gimmick bullshit always sucks.

It's not gonna change anything for Finn to be orange instead of red.

Viral meningitis sucks a lot, but it's not that scary in a first world country. Bacterial meningitis on the other hand can be fatal and escalates terrifyingly.

If it's mumps, we could just blame it on an NHL team.

I've been told by a source, and of course this could change, that Wyatt, Roman and Owens all walked out on the company. This is a shoot. It is said that there is "chaos" backstage, Vince is "furious" and that explains why he felt he needed to replace them for this weekend's TLC show with such high profile shows. Apparently, the three wrestlers plan to work the indy scene and use their positions as top attractions in WWE to command higher rates, sell merch and work an easier schedule all while making more money. At least one person backstage described this to me as "the beginning of a mass exodus of talent"."

Idk. Maybe. But if they had something planned for Finn to help build to his Brock match, I doubt they scrap it in favor of Bray. Hell, we don't even know how long Bray will be out. Neither do they so it'd be hard to book that storyline. Bray can't even do pre-tapes right now. All that combined with the feud just sucking, and I would not be surprised at all if they just move on.

Maybe a blow off match at a Raw to bury it but not a ppv I am sure

They should have announced Angle and left Finn's opponent as a mystery opponent because for once people would have really liked who the surprise was, as opposed to the ordinary "lol its big show"
