Things are getting both heated and controversial in here. I want to see some happy pets!

This is Kinsasha. She's a rescue pup with some lumps on her head from an asshole previous owner. It's a shame, because after she settled into my home and dealt with severe separation anxiety issues, she quickly became the sweetest, quirky pup I've met. Let's see some awesome pets!

Happy pets? I'm fresh out of those. My kitty just got neutered and keeps trying to go for the stitches, so he's been forced into a cone. Now he just sits around all day with this pissed off look on his face.

K66nWmc.jpg

He's extra mad at me tonight because I had to chase him around the apartment and wipe his butt, because he smells.

We just got him a new collar right before he got fixed, though, and he's very handsome in it.

Yep, his name is Daigo. Named after Daigo Dojima from the Yakuza series. He's so much like his namesake and I love him. Fussy, ready to thrown down, has no sense of self-preservation, and is perpetually in the habit of making bad decisions, but really all he wants is just love and validation. He instantly starts purring the second you pick him up, and he'll sleep on your chest or in your lap for hours if you let him.

That new collar that I just got him may have been bought on purpose to match the Sixth Chairman's tie.

This is one handsome cat. He just oozes personality.

I love her. Blue-eyed cats are so beautiful, and ragdolls are awesome. I'm allergic to long-haired cats though so I can't really be around one for very long.

Btw your cat is a handsome devil too - reminds of the cat I had growing up.

I have a miniature Dachshund. He's my little man.

Unfortunately, ever since he was a pup he's had fur problems and he's basically bald down his back and upper sides, but he's still the best doggo ever.

Also a cat. It's a cunt.

I'd post pictures but I can't be assed uploading to another website just to link here.

Just got an Akita and German Shepard. A few weeks apart age wise. Akita my wife named okami and shepard named gl1tch by my daughter. They are good friends for being 3 months old or so. We have 2 others a corgi and border collie mix that both kinda play with them but I doubt they understand we got 2 killers now.

You have four dogs and a daughter. Awesome, but I'm guessing yours is the noisiest house on the block.

Great topic. I will have to find a way to show you a picture of Wesker.

No photo necessary. You have a pet named Wesker. You and me are cool.

This is Anna, she’s 9 now, I adopted her when she was 2. My best friend in the world right here.

I'm slightly irritated that this photo does not include a belly rub. Cat is clearly requesting a belly rub.

Couldn't tell you I wear headphones and hide most of the time. But when I go to get food or use the bathroom they are all happy to see me.

Me looking super excited to have this little pupper snuggled up on me.

Cassie is a total snuggler and Lilly who’s off frame is like the reluctant alpha.

But they both have sex with each other constantly. Straight up discovery channel up in this place at least once a week.

I'm trying to place who you look like. My gut tells me you snapped this photo after saving our galaxy from the Reapers.

Here are some various pictures of our siamese cat Jaeger. He is 8 (we got him when he was 2) and he is, by far, the chillest, neediest, happy-go-lucky cat we've ever had
He's the type of cat that proved to me that cats can be just as loyal or affectionate as dogs. Whenever I hear someone say "all cats are just careless dicks" I mentally say "you have no idea just how wrong you are..."

What a gorgeous kitty. If I weren't allergic, I'd love to have one like it.

I had a dog and cat for 20 years, but then they died.

I hate it when pets die. Really hate it.

Miss the walks, and miss the battle of feeding my cat pills every day 3 times. It was always the question will he slice me up this time? stay tuned.

Tribute pictures for a fallen friend belong here too. My old pup Elvis will be making an appearance.

This is Mya, my youngest pet overall, a hamster we've had for like two weeks. She's still not quite 'tame' but she doesn't run and hide anymore.

Mystra wiggling too much to be photographed, while Kali is adorable as always

We also have a single chicken (of three from this group) in her coop out back but I'm not going outside to bother her just for a photo. That leads to having to listen to her carry on about how she's boooooooored all alone because her sisters got sick over the winter.

It's pretty obvious which of these are cell phone photos and which ones I actually had my DSLR handy haha

I could never get anything done at your place. I would just keep moving between each adorable pet you have.

I'm having my first child in a month and my wife and I set up her bedroom and playroom. The cat follows us wherever we go and takes over the area. Here is proof...

Got back home after 24 days in the field. This dog has made it clear that the belly rubs will cease at her discretion, not mine.

That Akita has an amazing coat! Will it stay like that?

The Shep is a cutie too. I'll be dog sitting for my brothers Shep in a couple of weeks. Can't wait cuz he is awesome and my girls love him.

The akita is getting more brown along it's back. The shepherd is getting bigger and what is really odd is the older it gets the sweeter it gets. When it was small it seemed grumpy and wanted to fight or be alone all the time. Now a few weeks older it is all about being pet and playing but almost never biting. Good thing since I have an 8yr old in the house who loves to get in their face and make odd noises.

12Goblin's kitty got me thinking it's time to revive my happy pet thread and remember our current fur buddies and good pals that may be gone but never forgotten.

So here's a new shot of my little Kinsasha... posing cutely for my house sitter and waiting for me to come home in a week! I'd love to see more pictures of everyone's pets!

Yeah, it's never easy to say goodbye to a pet. Anyway, here's my clan. I don't quite know how I ended up with them all. They just kept accumulating somehow.

Biggles (19) I haven't got a pic of him on my PC, so I'll have to edit him in later. But Biggles is the OG of the group. We got him in 1999, and despite a rocky couple of years, he's still with us. He had a kidney condition, which has affected his limbs, and sometimes he can be a bit wobbly on his feet. Last year, we thought it might be time to say goodbye, as he seemed desperately ill, but he recovered and has been ok since. I know the end isn't too far away, so it's important to make the most of what time he has left. I've never known a cat to love spicy food like he does. He goes crazy when I make chicken fajitas and, if left to his own devices, will finish off a left-over curry with no fucks given. The rest of the clan all sensibly avoid that shit, but then none of them are an OG.

Charlie (18) We were looking after him for a friend who was ill back in 2010, I think. The friend passed away, but we'd bonded with Charlie, so there was zero chance of him going back to the animal shelter. His first home was a couple who split up and, for whatever reason, gave him up, and he was picked out by a family friend who had him for a couple of years before she fell ill, and then we took him on. 8 years later, he's still here. He's a little bit slower, thanks to some arthritis, but he plods along regardless.

z7yVNid.jpg

Loki & Freya (5) A pregnant stray cat gave birth to these two. For a short time, a near-by neighbour, whose house was near the back of our own house, looked after the three, turning a small tool storage room built onto the outside of their house into a temporary sleeping shelter for them. The door was always open, since it was isolated from the main house, so occasionally the mother would come to the side of our house, where a long fence ran alongside the our back garden, and I'd slide a bowl of food underneath. Eventually, her two little kittens, now eight weeks old, became curious and they made their way underneath the gap in the fence and have never left since.

LOKI
kNE8jxO.jpg

FREYA
R9W5Fyl.jpg

Cocoa & Jasper (4) One year later, and the same stray cat that gave birth to Loki & Freya, had another two kittens. The side-story of the mother cat became a long, difficult saga. The short version is she's now fixed and rehoused on a farm. But, anyway, Cocoa and Jasper were born just under a year after Loki & Freya. They found their way under our fence and into our house. They never left. My journey to the dark side now complete. Six fucking cats. I wish I could explain it. But, they all kinda rock, so it's all good.
2d3q4n9.jpg

It was pretty early on that we discovered that Jasper had telekenetic powers and would often levitate his sister off the ground for his own amusement. His powers weakened as he got older, and the only evidence of his powers that we still have is this picture where, clearly, he's controlling Cocoa with the power of his mind. See the concentration in his eyes and the what-the-fuck-is-going-on expression in her eyes. I don't think I need to say anything more at this point.
