trump / putin News conference

Some people hate Trump so much they use war monger McCain and the CIA (which they hated before 2016) as apart of their argument to why they hate Trump so much and why Trump is evil etc etc. Zero loyalty to their own selfs and beliefs.

These people didn’t spam to call your congressman after the Obama hot mic incident (which should have been a scandal) or the big Russia reset button thing.

This is why “the left eats itself” is a saying.

I mean, at this point fhere is unanimous agreement from US intelligence agencies, all congressional committees investigating the issue, Trump's own Defense secretary, the director of national intelligence and national security adviser, along with private cybersecurity experts, all saying the Russians meddled in the US election to help trump win...

Maybe it's your love for Trump that blinds you from your self and your own beliefs?

I don't know why the Russians meddling in an election is a big deal. EVERYONE, including many multinational corporations meddles in the election. And the US meddles in a ton of overseas elections in a number of regions so it's plain hypocritical to get pissy about Russia for doing the same.

And there were far more Americans making "fake news" than Russia was...But we have to get angry at Russia because we all like to pretend it's still the Cold War and because the media has to always invent a villain.

So I thought that this was actually going to be a productive talk and that people would be pretty stoked about U.S/Russia relations. Turn on the news and the ONLY thing people are talking about is this "collusion". People cant give this shit a rest and move forward... Really hoping something good comes fron these talks and that its not all for show.

OK but trump today, when asked, sided with Putin over his own intelligence agencies... That doesnt raise any flags? It's been made very obvious today that our president is subservient to the putin.

No matter how you look at it, whatever side of the aisle you are on, the American people have been duped.

"Subservient?" Please spare me the over-dramatics. You're either saying that for tired shock value or seriously don't know what the word means.

And who cares if Trump denies it? Why wouldn't he when it clearly benefited him, especially when Trump himself has been accused of colluding with them? Am I supposed to be shocked when the president lies about something for the sake of politics? In other news, the grass is green.

OK since you clearly don't pay attention to real objective news - I'll hold your hand through it. Do you realize today marks the day that Trump is siding with Russia against the FBI, contradicting intelligence agencies over claims of interference in the US elections. His solution is working together with Russia to help with the investigation LOL

even today you don't see many people on FOX coming to his defense, and that says a lot ...

The fact that he showed 0 criticism towards Russia despite what we now know---with undeniable evidence--that they meddled in our election in an effort to tip the scale against Hillary clinton and STILL sided with Putin is how we know he is subservient to the Russians. After today, it is clear that what Vlad wants, Trump will comply

Im a liberal that doesn't care because corporations, the media, and billionaires already influence elections and politicians with insane amounts of money. Unless Russia hacked voting machines to change results for a Trump victory, I don't really give a shit about their meddling.

Trump still won a legit election, not like the ones in Russia.

This is an interesting point that Lawrence Wilkerson made on the 6/29/18 episode of Real Time with Bill Maher. Of course, the guest panel predictably shut him down with the old "that doesn't make it right!" argument, and then Bradley Whitford went on a rant about members of his family being journalists and how they're no longer safe.

The big deal being made about Russia meddling in our election is that Russia's geopolitical interests are usually directly opposed to the US.'s, and that Putin is a lying murderer and despicable tyrant who oppresses the Russian people (who also seem to love him).

the sad part is that the people in Russia do believe their government manipulated the US election and are proud - they see it as a victory for Putin over the United States

See, I can do it to. Either contribute something or just leave, mate.

I do not like Trump. In fact, I would be happier if he was removed from office - however I have seen nothing that points to "treason" or "collusion" that so many seem to want to believe. Quite frankly, some are so obsessed with the man that they want to believe every silly little story just so they can feel like they were "duped" instead of simply losing an election fair and square.

They need to move on, but they are so stuck in their own little horrified circles that they need to keep pushing this childish story of the "big bad evil Trump". Who, depending on who you speak to, is a mass murdering, racist, sexist, homophobic, child eating, child raping, gay beating, lover of pie over cake.

The truth of the matter, he fucked up here - but a "traitor"? "Treason"? None of that happened here.

There was unanomous agreement among the intelligence agencies that Iraq has WMD.

Where is the DNC server ? I want that examined.

You know Snowden released documentation showing the CIA actually has techniques of hacking computers and making it look like it was done by someone else ?

Why does the NSA expert William Binney think the DNC server data was more likely compromised by someone on the inside ?

This looks funny. The panic.

Lets put on the tinfoil hats and play the game of what if.
Putin is this great mastermind and everyone thinks that he is ALWAYS lying and playing some 4d chess.
Every single thing he has said ever is a lie, EXCEPT when he said the wanted trump to win. That was the singular only instance ever where he spoke the truth in a non-self-serving way.

What if he lied that time too and he didn't want Trump to win? An argument could well be made for him wanting Hillary to win.

What if...

Election is coming up, who to support. The mad man outsider that flip flops and can turn on his peers with a moments notice. The man is untrustworthy, a lose cannon and a wild card.
Or should I, Putin, want Hillary? She already helped reset the relations and get rid of sanctions. She also showed me she is trustworthy and that I can buy her. The mutually beneficial arrangement with UraniumOne proves that to me.

Who should I support? The known quantity that I know I can buy or the lose cannon?

hahaha

Of course the Cold War is over. You actually need rival superpowers for there to be a war, otherwise it's a massacre.

Today, Putin just showed the world that America is Russia's bitch.

Being allowed to take over part of the Ukraine including a port did not make that showing, but the President refusing to wag his finger over emails being hacked (that allegedly helped him win) does make that showing? Are you sure that telling the world what Podesta and company is really thinking falls on the same scale as invading a foreign nation and just annexing it? Cause I am definitely not so sure.

Putin Snaps at Fox's Chris Wallace

https://www.mediaite.com/online/put...ussian-indictment-this-is-utterly-ridiculous/

Mediaite said:
“But sir, this is the indictment,” the Fox News anchor said. “It shows — I have 12 names here. It talks about specific units of the GRU — Russian military intelligence. Is the GRU not part of the Russian state?”

“Just have a little bit of patience,” Putin said. “Then you will get a full answer to your question.”

But the Russian president continued to dodge.

“Interference with the domestic affairs of the United States — do you really believe that someone acting from the Russian territory could have influenced the United States and influenced the choice of millions of Americans?” Putin said.

Wallace again tried to cut off the rote denials and pin down the Russian president for an answer to his question. Putin didn’t respond kindly.

“This is utterly ridiculous,” Putin said.

Welp. No matter how you look at it, today was not a good day for the orange man. Even the Republicans are befuddled at this one. Sean Hannity is currently having a mental breakdown calling everyone in his party a traitor for not defending trump. But this time it it too late, he exposed himself as putin's complete bitch, live in front of the entire world. I believe today marks a turning point and a change in people's attitude. Now the Republicans are coming to terms that Donald J Trump did in fact collude with the Russians to win the US election. The evidence is there, and trump played his hand very poorly today, confirming all suspicions. Today marks the beginning of the end for the orange man.

Between the 12 Russian agents, the unnamed candidate for Congress, the arrest of Russian agent Mariia Butina for setting up back channels between the NRA and GOP and whoever gets caught with their hand in that foreign money cookie jar, and Trump doing his greatest beta impression on stage today which is the opposite of America First, I can't believe it's only Monday.

Makes no sense, did you make this same post over he last years where Obama strengthened our relations with Russia as much as possible?

I’m starting to think no one paid attention to Obama’s 8 years.

I can't believe people are defending Trump on here. Lol.

The guy is commiting treason. Putin has things on him and today pretty proves that. Not believing your own intelligence agency and choosing Russian is condemning the US and handing it over to Russia.

Yes, if you defend Trump for today than you are choosing Putin as your leader. End of fucking story.

Intelligence agencies lie all the time. The last director of national intelligence, clapper, perjured himself in front of congress. The last CIA director is a former communist sympathizer.

These same intelligence agencies are the people that signed off on wiretapping Trump's campaign, based on a phony dossier paid for by Hilliary Clinton, the fact of which they hid from the FISA judge. Only a fool would take anything they say at face value. It's funny how the left used to be suspicious of the CIA, and now they all worship the intelligence community.

The thing is, whether you're a fan of trump or not, today's press conference was idiotic and paints trump in a terrible light which prevents him from doing his "leagues of progress," so ultimately throwing the entire intelligence community under the bus is a big price to pay just to own the libs.

Why does it paint him in a negative light? Because that's what NPR has been saying all day? The fact is Trump is very predictably doing exactly what he said he would do when elected. Have you seen how the US intelligence angencies have been acting? Leaks, and back flips and partisan hacks oh my.

He threw the intelligence community under the bus and all he got was a lousy soccer ball.

I just don't presume to know what the long term plan is like some people. Honestly who gives a flying fuck if Trump throws the Intel community under the bus. They have been doing a lousy job in every aspect of "intelligence". I will answer your question after you answer mine thou, if you want to be serious.

Find it ironic that an intelligence agency that's been caught with their pants down one too many times helping launder drug money as well as trafficking more drugs/firearms into the country (as well as others) to keep the false war on it going, all of the sudden deserves no scrutiny.

In fact maybe this was the wake-up call that they needed (for the commander and chief the call it out on the world stage), however I feel things will just get worse via prideful push back.

Maybe Trump is smarter than we all think, and he's using the psychological game to get them to tighten up their shit.

Or maybe we should all be climbing into our shelters because meltdown is imminent.

Time will tell I guess. Get your iodine tabs and sunscreen ready just in case. ;)

The media ^^^

They've done it one too many times when it comes to everything Trump.

In like 2 weeks Trump will have another rally in a town no ones ever heard of and 10k people will show up with 5k outside of the door.

The media will ignore it (including FAUX (get it) News) and the cycle will continue.

Doom and gloom.

Putin has things on him and today pretty proves that.

What things does Putin have on him?

Do you think IRS officials can't see Trump's tax returns? Do you think US intelligence can't quickly figure out that a private citizen (multi-billionaire) is colluding with a foreign power to become president? Do you believe US presidential candidates are not extensively vetted if they have a realistic shot of winning? Do you believe Trump was "owned" by the Russians for 30 years, successfully ran for president and no one did anything about it?

It's not a plausible story.

If Pres. Trump is compromised, then that means a lot of people in the US gov't and in the private sector knew about it and did nothing. Financial records that show money laundering, bad deeds in tax returns, damning emails, damning texts, pee tapes, and all the other nonsense that's being used to delegitimize the US president. A bunch of BS to say Trump did not win fair and square.

Obama briefed Trump, attended his inauguration, and turned the gov't over to him peacefully. If Putin had what you think he has on Trump or was suspected to, then why would Pres. Obama behave that way? Remember, these investigations started prior to Trump's inauguration. Think about it.
