Fun weekend thread.
What games that bombed do you wish would get a sequel?
To keep it interesting try to focus on games that bombed in both sales and critical reception.
I'd love to see a sequel to Lair (54 metascore and did so badly the studio had to close):
It's not hard to see why it failed with those horrible forced six axis controls. But I played it many years later when it was already playable with regular controller (an update that as far as I know came waaaay too late) and had a lot of fun with it. It still had plenty of issues and some of the game design wasn't fixable with a patch (since it was made from the ground up for six axis) but the entire concept of the game was awesome, the story was actually pretty good and engaging and the soundtrack is amazing.
It had a great sense of scale, specially in the missions where you could attack ground units and there were big armies fighting which you could interact with. With modern hardware they could really expand on that idea and if the gameplay was actually designed for a regular controller instead of a gimmick I could see it being a lot of fun to play:
Also, best medieval fantasy OST of last gen.
Send trucks of money to John Debney to get him back
