Considering the advantage Scorpio will have and the lack of a true Sony customized console bundle, I'm not sure what this will accomplish. Does Sony have any timed dlc exclusive content?

"Select online content" seems inconsequential. If that's all that's available, RDR2 and COD "exclusivity" deals looks like quite a waist of resources.

Having it’s name tied to the console and a value for people who want the game and the Pro for a lower priced package.

I got my Pro before I got a 4K TV and I can say without hesitation that the image quality was significantly improved using the Pro on my 1080p Sony that I was using at the time.
Of course I now have an LG OLED and playing the generic PS4 and/or Xbox One S on it looks terrible. Non-enhanced games are practically unplayable to me.

So for $400 you still get the inferior version of RDR2, or for $60 you can just buy for X1X that you already own.

Well no shit Sherlock. Obviously if you are an Xbox gamer and own an X1X it makes sense to get the Xbox version of the game instead. Thank you Captain Obvious for pointing that out, and here I was thinking that Sony was trying to convince X1X owners to abandon their system and buy a whole new system instead of playing the game on there system.
Now that I have gotten the sarcasm to a stupid response out of the way let me clarify:
This bundle is merely an option for those who don't own either console and/or want an upgrade to the Pro from the One S and/or PS4 slim. In those cases this bundle could be a decent option. If you want the best version and don't own an X, then you will have to spend $560.

Not complaining, I have a PS4 Pro in Black and would never get a special decal console anyway, I was just wondering why this game doesn't. If any game should, imo this should be one.

Nothing really would grab me to buy a red dead PS4 pro design wise. I just grabbed the spider man one because it was a lot different than some of the others.

My buddy picked up a 7115 model in late August when they popped up briefly, and it is much quieter than the launch 7000. I wonder what else was done for the 7215. I have a gut feeling another revision was coming due to the shortages.

I won't talk bad about a free game being bundled. 499 is the CAD for a gameless PS4 Pro so its a good deal, and RDR2 though not my cup of tea is one of the biggest games this year.
But it would be nice if they spurced it up a little bit. Not asking for the console to be 10 different colors but maybe a little something.
Overall though still a good deal if you don't have the game and want to get a PS4.

Hell, it's even worse than that. I don't remember specifically, but only like 420GB of that drive are usuable. It's almost 1/4 of the hard drive! Insane.

Officially it won't because Sony has a marketing deal with that game, i mean, Rockstar. Well, maybe there will be some deals for like during past years - "buy an Xbone, choose any game for free"
