So the theories I've heard are that not only is the Earth flat, but gravity doesn't exist and it's "because the flat Earth is moving upwards", and this is the "gravity" we're feeling/seeing.
Well, I want to know their explanation as to how all that water is not flowing off the sides if there's no gravity.

I believe the current theory is the "Ice wall" or "Ice shelf" or something that's frozen and keeps the water from sliding off.

If there was an ice wall, wouldn't we see it when we fly to the edge of the Earth? I've read that apparently we teleport to the opposite side like Pac-Man does in his game.
Are they telling me that out of the millions of people to take flights and shipping across this barrier, not one single tosser has seen this ice wall?

their theory is that antartica is actually encircling the globe, and the north pole is actually at the center of the world. So when you fly east or west you are just going in a circle around the north pole.

What they say is it is antartica, and they say there's only been like two flights over it.
About the only way something so outlandish could be possible is if reality was a simulation, and it was easier to do a small snow globe. Either the instruments would be given fake data or the scientists would be killed and turned into NPCs.

I see this flat earth phenomenon as a mix of incredibly poor scientific literacy (mostly due to education) along with the conspiratorial mindset (I know something you don't know).
Science is not taught in the UK as science, it's basically taught as a list of facts. Of course people are going to be skeptical of this if they have a mind that attempts to ask questions. There needs to be a more philosophical approach to it, because frankly, why do 16 year olds need to know such detail?
Going down the rabbit hole of, for example, how metabolism works, doesn't help people understand what they should eat, it's just a list of reactions. Explaining how to design an experiment, and how to interpret data are key skills to anyone in any job.

I mean, even if the sun were going around the earth, if Beijing (arbitrary, they're +12 hours from parts of the US) is on the same planar landscape as us, how do you explain a Sun that is shining on New York and while it's night in Beijing?

How’s the Pole star work on a ball that is not only spinning, but also orbiting the sun? Instead of believing everything you’re told, use your own eyes. The way the stars appear to move don’t match what science says at all.
The sun and moon are both closer and smaller than what we’re told. If you walked outside right now and didn’t have all the false programming we’re fed since kindergarten, you’d perceive the sun as being right up in the sky instead of millions of miles away.
