100% Flat Earth Proof

That part was a joke, obviously. I find it amusing that “scientifically enlightened” people like yourself get SO frustrated when people question whack ass nonsense science. So you’re telling me that the sun, which is 9,941 degrees hot, somehow gives off this heat, but it doesn’t go anywhere because of the vacuum of space, which has no temperature (yet we’re always shown things freezing in space because it’s supposedly so cold) BUT SOMEHOW over the course of literally millions of miles of temperatureless vacuum, once the light hits earth, WHA~LAH! it’s hot again! So does the suns heat teleport or what, bro? Use your brain. Not just regurgitate what you’ve been taught.
this has nothing to do with beeing scientificly enlightened in any way or form.
its not whack ass nonsense science...
you not understanding it speaks for your capabilitys
in a vacuum there are no particles to heat up, people already told you and you still ignored it and write this shit.

i could bet you dont even know how colors work... because its "whack ass science".

I currently work for Dean Hurley, State Farm Agent. Why is this important, you ask?

His brother Doug was a NASA Astronaut. So was his wife. They've both lived on board the International Space Station. He's actually about to go up for another 6 months.

So as someone who knows not one, but two people who have seen the spherical roundness of our planet while literally orbiting it...... I can 100% confirm that flat-earthers have absolutely no clue what they're talking about.

As far as formulas go, probably not. But as far as things I can test for myself somehow, sure I do. This is what I don’t understand. Myself as a believer in God and the gospel, i questioned EVERYTHING. I still question at times and I’m quickly given answers. There’s stuff in the world of science that the everyday person literally has no way of testing nor can you question things without being ridiculed. Which is actually worse then? The gospel, and the kingdom of God which God actually WANTS you to seek and figure out, or science where no one outside of the upper echelons truly knows anything outside of what they’ve been given in a book?

you can test it, you can measure it.
but you rather believe in a 2000 year old book and try to make our world fit into its context. who exactly stopped thinking here?

I can’t say for certain that it’s “flat” because it’s not. It has hills. It’s a 100% certainty that we aren’t moving though. It we were to be spinning 1000mph as well as orbiting the sun, time lapse videos of the sky would reveal the stars making Spirograph type patterns. That doesn’t happen.

To be honest though, my findings didn’t come from observation at first. They came from scripture. The Bible mentions God making the sun stop in the sky as well as making it go backward. It also doesn’t describe the earth as a globe anywhere. That lead me to start looking and when you do, the truth becomes pretty obvious.
Do you think that we can learn mathematics from an english book? The bible is a collection of books made for different audiences, has different themes, is made for different purposes, and by different cultures/peoples.

The bible is like a library, comprised of many books, with books serving different purposes. Saying it is all literally true would be like saying all of the books in a library is non-fiction. All the books in library have a point and tell important truths, but not all of them are literal.

Fundamentalism is flawed, and it goes against not only logic, but scripture itself.

I like for you to use your own brain for once instead of taking your biblical scripture as a literal testament of complete fact. I elaborated on your post and linked to a biblical text, regarding how Isaiah 40:22 is interpreted, here.

But what do you do? Not only do you flat out ignore it, which is just grossly insulting, you proceed to post ever the more nonsense - all without any source to back it up with. And no, referring to your biblical scripture is no source if there is no link and when the above link shows that most people interpret Isaiah 40:22 as describing a round (and not flat) Earth.

You were banned previously for doing this exact same thing and at this point i am questioning your sincerity in this. Not only do you avoid questions you can't answer due to a lack of knowledge/because the Bible does not have a fastfood answer to it, you are avoiding common sense principles in order to uphold a totalitarian and absolute world view based on a literal interpretation of a religious book.

You continues to dismiss common sense principles in favor of your "biblical scripture'' without proving people with any source other than that it is right. Here is a list of things that have been on your mind:
  • Believing in a Flat earth
  • Allusions to Anti-vaxxing
  • Disagreeing with the Theory of light/Theory of relativity
Everything is replaced by the ''biblical scripture'': If it isn't present in the book, it therefore does not exist.

You know why i doubt your sincerity?

It is that a cited biblical text gets completely ignored that proves your statement wrong. The very thing you rely upon, even disagrees with you. And yet you ignore it.

If you are trolling: Well done, you played us all. God forbid that we took the decency of taking you seriously, as what people are supposed to do.:lollipop_confused:

So tell me. How do you test the microwave of space without going there?
That's because the sun does not emit heat, it emits radiation. Again, temperature only measures the kinetic energy of particles moving through space. Meaning that if radiation passes through matter it excites its composing particles thus heating it up. All matter contains heat energy which is the result of the movement of particles (atoms, molecules or ions in solids, liquids and gases). Since space is a vacuum, i.e. devoid of particles, the sun cannot heat it up. In fact, empty space cannot by definition have a temperature because it's devoid of particles able to transfer heat energy.

The sun's radiation travels through empty space until it passes through matter, like the atmosphere of a planet for example. If radiation passes through the atmosphere it brings the atmospheric particles into motion thus producing heat. That's also exactly how microwaves function, it's really not hard to understand.

Your willfully ignorant attitude is really not befitting this forum. If we don't accept political extremists here, I'm starting to wonder why we even need to put up with your religious fundamentalism.

You don’t. Nor do I have to believe the myriad of theories science proposes. A gasious fireball in the sky doesn’t emit heat now. 😕 You do you and I’ll do me and we good. 👍🏽

Not true. Works fine with a small and close sun. If it’s only hundreds of miles up and say 30 miles wide, its light can’t travel as far as it does with the current widely accepted theory.

"Enjoys all of the benefits of modern technology and medicine from scientist that dedicated their lives for mankind"........... "Denounces modern science as boloney" LOL fucking logic

Using an iPhone or medicines that are made of things right here on our planet is far different from being told you have to believe in this space age nonsense that literally a handful of men have access to “prove” even exists. I don’t denounce modern science. I denounce things that can’t be proven or tested by the majority of society. The list of people that have “gone to space” is something like less than 500 people. BILLIONS of people are on this planet right now. You want to put your faith in man that’s your choice. I choose not to.

Try reading and understanding my evidence first. Sofar you have ignored it.

While you are at it, entertain for yourself the idea to apply for a proper education.

Also, a hypothetical sun still would need to revolve in a circle to enlighten both the front and back sides of your round circle. I am sure you knew this.

Thanks for the personal picture though. Didnt see that at first. Glad to know i attract all kinds of knowledgeable fans out there. /S

Its pointless arguing with a Flat Earther no matter the scientific evidence you present they will just deny it.

I love the idea of the Earth being flat all along. Nothing would be more exciting than some firmly held 100% certain belief being wrong. It must've been really exciting when they first came up with the possibility that maybe Earth is round. It was a new concept for them and with lots of things to wonder about. Earth now confirmed being flat would be just as new thing to us. And obviously there would then be tons of lies and other conspiracies that would be revealed after that, and boy would it be exciting to live and find out all about the new truths. I think that's one of the reasons people really want to believe in hologram simulation universe too. It's so exciting to think what that kind of new truths would be bound to be unveiled to us if something like that was proven to be real.

Sometimes I like to play around with crazy conspiracies like this. Sometimes it's fun to think what kind of thinking I should do to be able to give even 0,001% possibility for flat earth to be the truth. The things I have read and heard about it aren't convincing at all, but sometimes I love to think all kinds of sci-fi concepts on how flat earth might be real after all. Like, maybe it's all about how dimensions above third dimension work. Maybe space is this hypermultidimensional place where observers just see and experience the things in front and around them as having a spherical form and the closer you get to that spherical object the more it starts to be flat. Like, if I'd write a sci-fi book I'd go all crazy and write how space is dimension zero and objects with observation skills (like humans) within the dimension zero will see the flat planes around them be warped and stretched and folded around to make the seem to be spherical. Even photographs wouldn't show the flatness and the hypermultidimensionality the way it really is but they show it the way we would observe it. I would probably also explain the horizon by telling how long distances also make our vision to show the world in the distance as warped because of this dimensional thing.

Honestly though, one thing the flat earthers kinda has a point with is how we in the end don't really knowingly know much of what we believe in. Most people haven't made any tests of what they have read. And the people who have tested things, haven't tested all of what they believe to be true. We just mostly take the word of our teachers and writers whose books we read. We don't really even think to question what we are taught at school. We maybe can say that this and this amount of people and scientists say this is true, but most people haven't ever tested and won't ever test those things. We just take their words. So really, that's where the flat earthers are 100% right. And maybe we all should sometimes think from that angle too. Although, that should obviously also apply to them too. If we shouldn't go and blindly believe all we are taught, why should we suddenly start to believe the flat earthers? It's not as if they have witnessed the world being flat either. And they themselves are mostly also just parroting things they have heard and read somewhere else.

Saying it is all literally true would be like saying all of the books in a library is non-fiction. All the books in library have a point and tell important truths, but not all of them are literal.

Fundamentalism is flawed, and it goes against not only logic, but scripture itself.
Maybe he'll one day comes up with something like "hey, Jesus actually was a literal DOOR all along, that's what he says about himself in the Bible - he's a door."

Just go ahead and check out the Christianity [OT] thread. His way of thinking and discussing there is exactly the same as in this and other conspiracy related threads. And it causes pretty much the same reactions from fellow Christians as it causes from scientists and science enthusiasts here. I would assume the way he has decided to deal with things should make life at the same time really exciting and really lonely. It's one thing to dig deeper in the exciting world of conspiracies but it's another thing to have a discussion style that mostly just frustrates people.

I love the guy and his hyper bold way to sink into the craziest things head first and stand firm with his belief unashamed and I really think even the crazies ideas should have their place in any discussion forums. But trying to interact with that stuff is sometimes way too frustrating.

I literally LOL’d at those assumptions. Holy crap. All of my close friends and family know how I see things. There’s no problem nor am I lonely. 😂 BTW There’s nothing scriptural about a spherical earth and if you’re referring to the Catholicism thread that you guys tried to pass off as a a Christianity thread, you bet I’m going to debate you on every bit of false doctrine and theology you post. It’s just as nonsensical as science. Not only that, I’d rather people looking for Christ not fall into the snares that the Roman Catholic Church likes to put out into the world. Gods “true” Church 🙄that’s a lie. Fitting most Catholics will believe evolution along with all of the other heretical, secular teachings the world has to offer.

Too bad earth would be far smaller if you followed that supposed curve all the way around. Not only that but there’s no curve on the horizon even if you took an equal distance that those power lines show and placed it on the horizon. If we’re on a ball, it has to work in all directions. It doesn’t with that “experiment”. Many others have debunked that one with other explainations as well. Nice try tho.

1st Please show me how they debunked this. Also you should know that the earth is not a perfect sphere. 2nd Please provide me with the calculations that prove the earth would be to small for this curve since you just pulled that claim out of your ass. 3rd Please provide me with a list of the scientific accomplishments of the Flat Earth society.

Buddy I live where the picture was taken and I have traveled across the bridge MANY times. Its very real

I’ll pull out my slide rule and calculator as soon as you do. I’m not a member of the flat earth society nor do I frequent any of their websites or subscribe to any of their newsletters. If you want to use that other ponchatrain video as proof then we’d have to live on a cylinder and not a globe which just isn’t true either.

so you are just a condescending religious zealot.
Good that your god teaches you to be an asshole.
right now it seems like your parents homeschooled you and you are closer to a masssuicide than heaven.

bye, won't waste any more energy on you.

Plenty of other videos and photos showing the same results. Next time I will head down to NO to do a comparison of the two videos.

Simply put the guy is at a higher elevation making it harder to see the effect of the curve because it is very subtle. Even then you didn't respond to the discovery video. You don't have to be part of the FE society to prove their accomplishments nor do I have to be part of the scientific community to prove the mountains amount of work that benefit mankind. In short Flatearthers are as dumb as a bag of rocks and contribute nothing to mankind
