I think you are on to something. All characters in video games in perpetuity, unless noted otherwise are Pansexual.

I do not care. I do not care if I play as black guy, women, Asian animal whatever. I am just pointing out the hypocrisy when your game inclusive and market how LGBT friendly this game is while have no white straight male in there. If I would care I would not buy the game. However, I can critique whether or not these questions need to be constantly asked by a dying brand of media, and always expected to be answered.

Personally to me it seems as just another way to enjoy the game. People like being represented. I dont get into the lore and such and Overwatch was just a fun game to me but if having gay and other characters makes someone else enjoy the game more --something that wont effect or hurt my enjoyment ----- then thats cool.

The LGBTQ representation doesn’t stop there. I'm sure that they'll add more characters as the game goes on, heterosexual white male characters will eventually be released so that the 99% of the game's players that are heterosexual white males will finally have a character that they can identify with. It is Catch 22 because no matter the answer, there will still be something to drive whatever levels of annoyance and outrage to said sites. This dying breed of media is latching onto whatever is left. They are not truly as altruistic as you may think.

You are right. My perception of the situation was wrong. It's just how I felt when reading the article. And maybe the fact that those shooter dudes and dudetes are, for me, mostly very asexual machines. So learning that they have any sexuality at all confuses me and maybe gives them a dimension of humanity I don't want them to have. How can they be a person? They are shooting other people in the face and execute them with cool poses.
