- New Super Mario Bros. Wii is getting a 3DS port.
- New Animal Crossing is another board game.
- Sakurai announces the other 4 DLC will be more Fire Emblem sword bois.
- Metroid Prime 4 will be a online-only pay2win battle royale.
- A hype CGI F-Zero teaser will be shown... to announce that the SNES F-Zero is coming to the Nintendo Online service.
- Reggie deletes the official Mother 3 localization files live onstage.

Please announce something non shit for once! I'm seriously regretting buying a Switch at this point. A Metroid Prime trilogy would be good but Nintendo have a habit of making awful decisions. If they choose a Skyward Sword remake over the Prime Trilogy I am going to off myself.

There are so many great games to play on Switch, though. Like, I'm personally waiting for Shakedown Hawaii later this spring, which I don't see anyone else posting about. There's better games already available than an MP Trilogy, which I hope gets announced. Just saying, fill the void with some games that play great on this system. Pick up Doom or Wolfenstein if you don't already have them.

Oh, they’ll definitely announce a 3DS remake of Link’s Awakening.
Not Link’s Awakening DX mind you, just Link’s Awakening.
It’ll have the graphics of Link Between Worlds, but everything will be completely in shades of puke green, with no exceptions and no settings to change it. All audio will be compressed rips from the GB original.
During the ending scene of Link looking with wonder at the sky, The clouds will spell out “Fuck You”.

"Delighted" is the key word here. Which gamesn can make you be delighted? Certainly not a Zelda, FZero, Metroid that would be "excited" ie. It seems to me it would be something more mellow Animal Crossing or Mario related.

I like how you're thinking, but also keep in mind we're working from a translation of a reporter's takeway from a Nintendo presentation. It's unclear to me whether the reporter (Takashi Mochizuki of the WSJ) himself provided the translation.

Besides the age there are also other factors to consider (though I also an above-30 senior citizen): when do you get out for your job, and, pretty big: Do you have young children. Our little boy makes sure I am awake at 5:00. Watching a video at 23:00 is then seriously cutting down my rest time. However, since Yoshi's Crafted World and Fire Emblem (therefore, two of my biggest three most wanteds this year) are probably going to be there, I will do the crazy thing this time.Below 30, but i am just a general nightwalker. I usually fall tired at 1.30, but if i need to work, obviously ill sleep accordingly with no problems if i need to wake up at 5.30 or 6.30.
I also wake up earlier then in advance so i can do my morning routine all relaxed with no rushes.

It's a rethorical question to consider when it comes to the time one should probably go to bed. 1:30 is pretty late actually, I think, if you have standard work hours. But if you can live with only few hours of sleep, that's of course great, that's like a couple of extra years of active life

I've learned my lesson about making plans around Nintendo announcements. It's not that they've ever been bad, but sometimes my expectations weren't in check and I've come away disappointed. Nintendo set a really high bar at the launch of the Switch, and I started expecting them to meet that high bar. While it's not an impossible bar to meet, they are one publisher and sometimes publishers don't live up to the high water mark all the time.
Thankfully, they don't delete the Direct after it has aired. We can all watch at our leisure.

In standard work hours i tend to keep at 23.30.It's a rethorical question to consider when it comes to the time one should probably go to bed. 1:30 is pretty late actually, I think, if you have standard work hours. But if you can live with only few hours of sleep, that's of course great, that's like a couple of extra years of active life
These are weekend times, but i can go as late as 3.00. That's usually the moment my tank really runs out, always at 3.00.
