There's value in the IPs and developer capabilities. Also owning Sega Sammy would allow them to launch Xbox Two (or relaunch Xbox One) in Japan with local market credibility. Plus I'd like to see Rare have a crack at doing a 3D Sonic game. But there's been no actual talk of Microsoft buying Sega Sammy, I was just throwing it out there for fun.If it's a buyout, what good is it going to do to MS? Sega hasn't made a game that a lot of people would care enough to buy.
