Considering the team is all about equal pay, I'm assuming Rapinoe, Morgan and Dahlkemper will be sharing the money they get from SI with the other teammates?

She believes in the pay gap, she believes Kaepernick, she believes "white people" shouldn't be the leading voice on people of color oppression, she believes to not have a conversation with people with different ideas. And I'm sure she believes a lot of other ridiculous things nobody with a shred of intelligence would believe.

So far her opinions makes her look like a simpleton SJW. I understand having those opinions will make people like NI happy and therefore they are going to praise everything about her, but she doesn't seem smart, at all.

She's playing loud SJW, but looks what's happened. She's everywhere getting tons of exposure, endorsements and SI shoots. She's been playing on the national team for over 10 years and finally has made a name for herself. For the first 9+ years, nobody cared about her. Anyone who faintly remembers her from playing the national team probably didn't even know her name and just knew her as The Roxette Looking Chick (for those of you who knows 80s/90s music).

IMO, she isn't doing this for fair pay. She's doing it to glam up and try to get as much money as possible for herself. She's the face of the team. Alex Morgan is a nobody now. And nobody knows anyone else on the team. It's basically Rapinoe 80%, Morgan 20%, players 3 to 20 = 0% familiarity.

But good on her. She turned a SJW issue into a money grab. Where was this view the past 10+ years when she started on the national team in 2006?

I find her disgusting on a few levels. But I respect her riding the wave of fame while it's there. It doesn't last long. You know there's an agenda when Rapinoe gets more exposure than Alex Morgan who people would happily pay to see half naked.

This is the just the beginning. I don't think Rapine will disappear just yet, but she's got to keep it humming because the world cup isn't for another 4 years, she probably won't be part if it anyway since she'll be 38 and nobody cares about her playing on Seattle's NWSL team. I don't think anyone even knew that, and most people don't even know there is a pro womens soccer league. So she's got to milk it as much as possible.

But what will be interesting is if her "equal pay" thing is focused just on her and her team of highly paid national team players. Or if she she really cares about the greater good of the game (women's pro leagues and trying to get people to participate in womens soccer). The NWSL players get paid shit ($20-40k salary limit). People like Rapinoe get paid $250,000+ by the USSF, not the club team. So she's already making 10x more than the avg $30k player.

Going strictly what I see (her being the face of the national team and doing SI shoots and talk shows) it's been all about her.
