If true, what a fucking mess. A diablo spinoff as a coop looter shooter would be nice but they shouldn't make it a direct sequel to the third else the consumers will eat them alive. WoW might get a few subs back after classic though I imagine once the nostalgia wears off, it will slow die again. Shame about Starcraft and the RTS genre, it's true that it is not a a good place right now, most being replaced by mobas and autochess but hopefully we'll see a ressurection some day. Overwatch 2 being a coop game sounds nice but you know what they say, get woke go broke. No opinion on HS as I don't care about it.

Personnaly I don't give a damn about Blizzard since at least 10 years, and as always with leaks it can indeed be totally untrue. But I do think there is a lot to discuss about this company lately.

I'm not saying that it's true, but Blizzard is, internally, such a complete mess right now that I kind of believe it. The reorg earlier this year has not been pretty.

Making a rumor LARGE don't make it more "feasible", and for the love of Thor, what the truck is "FFIXV is forbidden" and "Vulpera and Mechagnomes are leaked", holy shiet, REALLY? A recently fired Blizzard employee that for some reason have info about ALL the company projects, using Facts already known by the community as new races to prove his points?

Also why would share holders hate the diablo mobile game ? It was probably fairly cheap to make and will probably make them a lot of money. If they don't care about the opinions of the core audience than what is there not to like ?

Also, Blizzard games are on a release schedule of like every 8 years aren't they? So overwatch 2 wouldn't be ready until like 2024.

Even hardcore Blizzard fans are not happy with Blizzard as they stand today.
- Terrible balancing/mediocre expansions for Hearthstone with almost no way new players can join in without spending a small fortune to be even partially competitive at low levels.
- Announcing a new experience boost feature in Heroes of the Storm, massive changes, new character, and then basically killing the game and putting a skeleton crew to work after thousands pay for the new stuff (thinking the game would continue to be developed on by a full team).
- Warlords of Draenor (the beginning of the end), Legion (basically the death for many hardcore raid teams), and Battle for Azeroth (the death for everything else).
- Politicizing gender, sexuality, and race in Overwatch to hide from criticism while refusing to develop most asked for features, painfully slow release of new content, and an over production of loot box items.
- Banning the universal OK hand gesture.
- Refusal to do anything for Starcraft.
- Diablo Immortal.
- Hiking the price for Blizzcon while providing less at the event, a spyware app that is required to enter, and basically killing the gift bag that you get (literally just a choice of one of two low quality statues with the other you have to buy).

I don't play Hearthstone, but why are low level inexperienced players being thrashed?
Bad matchmaking? They get thrown into matches against experienced gamers?
The game allows any low level person to buy tons of perks or microtrans artificially boosting their chances?

People who have been playing since launch or those who spend more money have better cards. More legendaries, cards that most new players cannot deal with without RNG on their side. Without spending money, you can't create many viable decks (if any, depending on the class).
