Twitch streamer banned over “sexually suggestive” Chun-Li cosplay.

Ugly women (Feminists) HATE the fact that attractive women can live off it.

Pit GIrls are gone, Booth Babes are gone. Even Darts ditched them lol. All to please the jealous middle-aged women.

Because they served the patriarchy. We really should adopt the North Korean dress sense to ensure uniformity with no chance of offence.

I doubt she'd have been banned if the camera was waist up....

At any rate twitch enforcment of standards is very spotty, sadly.

Meanwhile, Amouranth wears shorts hiked up her asshole and a bra on a daily basis and it's not an issue. Hell, she straight up showed her vagina the other day and got banned for a shorter amount of time than this girl.

Twitch is fucking retarded.

So yeah, hadn't heard about this so I looked it up for science. After thorough investigation and deep thought about the issue -

I took a look at Twitch's Sexual Content Community Guidelines and I'm guessing this is what they got her on

Nudity and Attire
Streaming is a public activity, therefore we recommend creators wear attire that is appropriate public attire for a given context, intent, or activity. For game streams, most at home streams, and profile/channel imagery, we recommend attire appropriate for public settings, such as what you would wear on a public street, or to a mall or restaurant. For example, for a fitness stream, or an IRL stream from a location such as a public beach, attire appropriate to those public contexts is recommended, such as workout clothes or a swimsuit, respectively. As noted in the section above, attire is just one factor of many that we consider when evaluating reports for potential sexual conduct.

Attire intended to be sexually suggestive and nudity are prohibited. Attire (or lack of attire) intended to be sexually suggestive includes undergarments, intimate apparel, or exposing/focusing on male or female genitals, buttocks, or nipples.

Two things, one is that it is clear that this is being applied inconsistently has previously mentioned and two, it's a cosplay stream so wouldn't cosplay be appropriate attire, especially since there was nothing overly explicit about it.

Then the problem becomes: why are men and women dressing lewdly on a platform kids can easily access. It'll be the same shit as with Youtube, you're gonna get mass purges. They'd have to lock the lewd stuff behind paywalls 'cuz we all know kids are poor and don't have any money.
Ok, then have a Twitch premium with access to M-rated streams. I mean, its not like Twitch has a family friendly image to begin with or anything. My question is why do they hate money and half naked people...

Yeah, lets tell women what they can, and cannot wear, that's totally progressive of you. Fucking SJWs.

Meanwhile in Europe there are a nude women in TV commercials and on billboards....oh wait, that was ten years ago, now its all burkas all the time baby!!

The war on the female figure is starting to heat up.

How about you lay off religious symbols like the burka with your anti-Islamic sentiments. Feel free to ogle women who sexually objectify themselves as well having other men ogle your daughters, sisters, mothers and wives. But if there are women who choose to adhere to a certain way of life and follow a set of rules so as to adopt modesty, avoid molestation and save their beauties for their husbands and families, then try and respect that even if you don't agree with it.

The hypocrisy of it all...you guys want acceptance for all these people with varying sexual affinities, because they're not hurting anyone apparently, right?! Well, who is a woman in a burka hurting?! Who is she bothering? Oh, she's not getting your juices up and running; how unacceptable!!

This is a gaming forum, correct? Lay off the jabs at other people's religions. We have sensibilities just like every other person out there. Don't make a mockery of us and disregard us because of misplaced hatred and a lack of understanding.

Wrong forum buddy. https://www.resetera.com/ is where this drivel belongs.

BTW, a woman wearing a burka is fine, but forcing sexy women out of media because they are not wearing burkas is fucking abhorrent and is the exact type of thing religions try to do in order to make others live by their regressive laws, or views. Same shit can be said for Christianity, and I consider myself a Christian.

Why Twitch Moderators criticise sexualised character designs - I have no pants and I must scream

PS: And for all other provocateurs in this thread, with your bullshit references to Islam and Islamic values; GTFO! How about the moderators try and moderate this shit. If people want to vent their ignorance and discontent with certain religions, how about keeping it to the non-gaming forums(off-topic or the like).

There is nothing to moderate? People take shots at Christianity constantly and that's okay, but I make one comment about Islam and you fly off the handle. There are no holy cows, everything can and will be made fun of and you need to get over it. You take yourself, and your religion too seriously.

Not seeing anything that discredits the original story.
Wait, so a woman got another woman banned? NOWAI!?!?!

who the fuck watches these thots anyway, I'd figure 12 year olds would know how to google 'porn'

low status males are interested in interacting with women who are out of their league?

I don't see it as that different from any other Twitch stream. Is it better that people give money to whoever because they have a para social relationship with someone on account of their personality? I don't know what it's like in "thot" streams but I imagine it's also just goofing off in a chat room, sometimes at the expense of the streamer

Yup, all religions deserve a nice raking over the coals! Long and hard baby! Anyone who gets butthurt should use some of this!

I can respect this position. It's what flies in real life normally. In multicultural societies there is some degree of what is called "civil silence" to make pluralism possible without too much conflict. There is a conflict there if you believe that human rights are universal but part of tolerance is also being respectful about differences in the course of questioning what you see as unjust. Some of what is labelled "islamophobia" is actually hateful and we should be mindful of that. There are different visions of what a liberal society is but that shouldn't be confused with forms of chauvinism that denigrate out groups.

It all stems from not wanting to make mothers uncomfortable with whatever their male children are watching. The last thing these companies want is mothers walking in on tommy oogling twitch and youtube bob and vagene because angry moms is how you get separated from your heavy users (kids).

The fact that these male kids are most likely looking at really depraved shit from the time they start growing body hair isn't important because they hide that, and dont search for “triple ass fuck” in front of their moms. But twitch and youtube stuff is out in the open, and not hidden, so these companies have to make sure moms do not see anything uncomfortable.

As a side note, exposing kids to hard core pornography instead having them look at the modern day equivalent of Sears Catalog is undoubtedly a bad thing. Less ass rape and more Chun Li would make for better people in my puritanical opinion.

This is such a stupid ban, Twitch needs consistency.

Although if Twitch got rid of all these thots I wouldn't lose a wink of sleep.

Shes obviously not on the list of protected streamers putting out for the moderation team.

I think we should suggest that twitch goes to sexually interfere with itself instead of users who have done fuck all wrong.

sexualy suggestive content can mean:
"sexualy triggering with words and not only like you, false, suggested clothes or body parts.

Im sure this bitch has flirting with 12-14 old.

It's strange to think back.. I grew up seeing tits in everyday commercials and it wasn't even controversial. In 2019 however.. idk.. it's a bit weird nevertheless.

I saw this on Reddit and here's my thoughts. How do we know this is for the Chun Li costume? It doesn't link it to that anywhere except for her saying it. If you notice the ban says where: on stream or VOD. It could have been for any previous video she's made that's still available if someone reported it and they just got to reviewing it.

These chicks know exactly what the fuck they're doing. Playing dumb and innocent is just plain annoying and dishonest. I don't know how strict Twitch's TOS is, as far as attire is concerned, but these chicks know damn well they risk a ban when they decide to wear clothing that lets them flaunt tits, ass, and thighs. They can very well do what they want, it's their Twitch channel, but...is it necessary to dress like Mai or Chun-Li just to draw art on stream? You're telling me this woman couldn't dress as Alyx Vance, Ellie, Faith, Meryl, Heather Mason, or Jade?

Sure, she could've. But we all know those characters don't have tits and ass on display, not like Chun-Li or Mai Shiranui, and she obviously knows that dressing sexy brings in the views/money. And, yes...I realize the issue is not the fact that she's making money off wearing sexy clothes on stream while dudes drool, the issue is that Twitch seems to be inconsistent with how/why they ban women for wearing revealing outfits.

All that being said, yeah, it's fucked up that she got banned for wearing that outfit. Honestly, these thots can wear what they want to but why not just go to PornHub or something at this point? Plenty of women upload videos on porn sites where they are still clothed and are just doing "sexy" things. Maybe the money isn't as good? No idea and I wouldn't know, women don't pay me to bare my body and look sexy while playing video games lol.

What a shitty time we live in currently. Extreme/puritanical censorship that’s demanded by a vocal minority of fucking whiners, and spineless platforms that cower to their every whim in fear of social media mobs.

Too much skin. Too much violence. Not enough representation. Modern societal norms have changed, and not for the better.

I try not to buy into the argument that we’ve generally devolved into a bunch of super-sensitive pussies, but it’s getting harder and harder not to buy in. This incident is just another log on the bonfire of ass.

Meanwhile amouranth can wear less while lounging in a bed and trading snapchat for subs/donos. If boob streamers are a problem then all of them are a problem, not whomever got reported on the day the nuns were manning the complaint desk.

I’m not gonna shed a tear for a thot. But this incident is redpilling people on the fact that Twitch’s TOS is so malleable that it’s essentially nonexistent, so the mods can ban whatever they please with no concerns for consistency or reasonability. Twitch is a shitshow.

But if there are women who choose to adhere to a certain way of life and follow a set of rules so as to adopt modesty, avoid molestation and save their beauties for their husbands and families, then try and respect that even if you don't agree with it.

I’m afraid I’ve got some bad news about muslim-centric cultures and sexual assault.
