Need baby name advice

jshackles

Gentlemen, we can rebuild it. We have the capability to make the world's first enhanced store. Steam will be that store. Better than it was before.
Other than those, the best I can think of that fits all of your thematic criteria is Light.

Starts with L, is part of a car door, and has been a video game character thanks to Death Note videogames.
"Light" is also what some familial characters refer to Lightning as in Final Fantasy XIII, thus continuing the Final Fantasy trend.

Our oldest (11) was given the same name as my Final Fantasy XI character - Latch.

Our middle child (8) is Locke (middle name Cole).

The youngest (3) is Link.

"Latch, Locke Cole, Link... come down for dinner."
And people thought I was crazy for suggesting Billy and Jean for a boy and a girl.

On a more serious note Vawn Vawn , the obvious for me are:
Luigi for boy. Can't get more iconic.
Lara (Croft) for girl. Same reason. Or Lulu from FFX.

Oh and goes without saying, whatever boy or girl, I hope the baby's healthy and enjoy a good, kind prosperous life.

Pac-Man

Imagine the baby crawling around, drooling and putting things in his mouth and you calling him Pac-Man.

Girl would obviously be Ms. Pac-Man.

Scandinavian/swedish word for LOCK is LÅS (ascii code 0xc5 in iso8859)

As the letter 'Å' is missing from non swedish/scandinavian keyboards a common
anglification is to write it instead as AA , this chacacter was originally a A with a small A above it and it eventually became A-oring.

So, Anglified spelling of the swedish/scandinavian LOCK would be LAAS

That is actually how I would spell LÅS when chatting with swedish friends and I don't have a swedish keyboard
and could not be bothered to install a swedish keymap.
We all understand that AA == Å

So I suggest LAAS anglican spelling of the swedish word for LOCK

Latch, Locke, Load-bearing? (As per your own door reference.)

Otherwise, seriously, they are awesome names you already have. Good luck choosing the new one.

Edit: "Stadia" Go on, I dare you.

Congrats but you should just go full cringe since you are already halfway there
and name them ...

Boy: Kefka or Sephiroth

Girl: Tifa or Ultimecia

Seriously though, congrats.

Don't name her after a fucking video game character unless it is a normal sounding name for your child's sake.
The right answer right here! If it REALLY NEEDS to be from a videogame character, at least give a normal human being name. Try not to make it hard for the child in the future. This is the wisest advice we can give to the OP.

I too thought about giving to a child a cool name from a fictional character that made an impression on me. But as the years have passed, I see how foolish it can get. Not that I have children or anything right now, but we need always to be prepared, right?

If it is a girl - Luna, Clara, Rebecca.
If it is a boy - Lucas, Norman, Michael.
