I know. I was continuing the joke.
Speak for yourself, I've had "relations" with every console since the Atari 2600V is for Virgin cos everybody who plays videogamez is a virgin.
Looks like the joke's on you this timer/woooosh
Omg man it was a joke...
I see, it would still sound like a jet engine.Im pretty sure those are intakes. It makes sense especially for the dev kit because those are usually stacked.
I knowdevkits are for work not for looking at it. Those are also finished devkits. Up until release of console devkits themselves are just PCs usually bad looking. PS4 devkit for example was PC with normal PC parts hardware with custom drivers for it featuring GPU radeoon HD7970 with extra memory while final retail gpu is some sort slight upgrade over 7850
I still think it looks like a toilet seat.
Has it left you feeling...flush-trated?
Will you be picking up Unsharted 5 for it when it...drops?
Or maybe a new iNfanus game?
You'll have toi-let me know.
Remember the Original Xbox was mocked for its size?I'm curious how important small consoles really are. I assume so being that they try to pump out slim versions, but are those really more about saving manufacturing costs and less about consumer demand for small boxes?
For me, I couldn't care less if a console is large. It makes no difference to me. I have a normal entertainment area. If the thing was the size of a stereo receiver it would be fine by me. More space for ease of cooling?

Still love it.Remember the Original Xbox was mocked for its size?
Yes, but it was just a big black square box with no style...... OG XBOX just went for mass, the Duke controller was a behemoth as well.....Remember the Original Xbox was mocked for its size?
Good video. Historical proof that the retail PS5 will probably look nothing like the devkit.
Hey, it's possible or even very likely that PS5 does not look like this devkit...…...But how is this video proving anything...….PS5 looking like this devkit can be as simple as this......
Ryan: Lots of buzz on the look of the devkit on the internet, DO IT...
Historical precedence can be thrown out the window with a simple 'thumbs up".....or decision.....
Yeah, that's understandable, but since so many like the design it behooves them to give it some thought......at least....I mean even if its "similar" its not gonna be exact. That's just common sense.
I suppose something like PS2 is possible. Same design language but in a smaller and sleaker, more consumer facing ready package.
300W is waaay too much. I believe ~200W is viable. 200~230W.Does anyone think this could be a 250-300W console?
I'm really curious to see the innards. All those vents can't be for nothing.

V is for victory.
I dub thee, Playstation Victoryyyy! "Sailor moon pose".
Or Victoria... we'll see how close we get
I'm guessing around 180W. This dev kit is designed like this for stacking, and way too big and ugly for a final design.300W is waaay too much. I believe ~200W is viable. 200~230W.
Yeah the PS3 peaked at around 190W, but I think the PS5 might go a bit deeper than that. Not 300W deeper though.I'm guessing around 180W. This dev kit is designed like this for stacking, and way too big and ugly for a final design.
Vicky told me you were gonna try to get between us...V is for Vita
uh ohhhhhhh
Standard external drives to backup games, nothing more.I wonder how they are going to handle additional storage? They can't have devs making games for a super fast SSD and then have users plug in a standard drive. So either we won't get expandable drive space or the system will require an external SSD and maybe have a min spec or built in benchmark.
They can support USB HDDs for cold storage (next-gen games) and playing some games directly from there (older games via BC).I wonder how they are going to handle additional storage? It's about time consoles hit 300W...….We want a powerful console that will last us a good 7 years.......Yeah the PS3 peaked at around 190W, but I think the PS5 might go a bit deeper than that. Not 300W deeper though.
The PS4 will be 7 years old next year....It's about time consoles hit 300W...….We want a powerful console that will last us a good 7 years.......
Yes and it's still impressing folk with visuals even today...….Visuals have gotten better and better...….I'm just happy we are now in a position to get an A class CPU with an A class GPU at the same time......If we need to burn a few more watts for it, so be it....7 years is a long-term investment, those pining on wattage make little sense anymore, this is not a handheld.....The PS4 will be 7 years old next year....
