Sony fans on this thread: PlayStation wins because their logo got tons of views.

Sony fans on this thread: Microsoft is revealing games because they're scared.

Common, at least hide you fanboy views. No need to hate other games because they're not on your precious platform. And this is coming from people that have been saying forever that Microsoft needs to show more games. Fanboys truly will not be happy not matter what.
Literally the post before yours is spinning it in Xboxs favor based on conjecture

Hi everyone! First post here but reading this thread for a while.

I don't know if someone has already post this rumor yet but here is some European prices for the PS5 :

- PS5 500 Go noire - Prix : 449,75 €
- PS5 500 Go blanche - Prix : 449,75 €
- PS5 500 Go édition spéciale - Prix : 449,75 €
- PS5 1 To noire - Prix : 499,75 €
- PS5 1 To blanche - Prix : 499,75 €

Isn't the whole point of revealing your games so that it generates hype and gets people talking about it? Isn't that the whole point of marketing and building up hype for the upcoming console so people get excited? Am I missing something? Is Microsoft guilty now because they're revealing stuff when Sony are being quite? If anything this is smart marketing on their part.

Sure I suppose. Don't worry about me just enjoy the hype. I'm too old now and I can't get hard at these types of vids anymore.

No way it'll launch with 500GB. That's just not enough right now. I believe there will be only one version with 1TB.

I think it's possible, maybe even likely - allows them to hit a more attractive price point .. also remember the PS3 had a 20GB launch version.

If next gen games are 100GB that's still five games .. more than I've ever had on the go at once ..

Cloud gaming is the key for MS in the east.

Just to make clear they are comparing preview participants stats from South Korea with preview participants stats from US/UK.

That only shows South Korea preview participants are more enraging with games than preview participants in US/UK.

Makes sense too because Asian gamers use way more their times with games than Western gamers.

Y'all better hope not. $200M is way too much to pay for Remedy. Their revenue is $20M. '

Reminder that EA bought Respawn for $400 million.
EA sabotaged them with Titanfall 2 and then bought them on the cheap. Respawn would have been way more expensive if EA didn't play dirty.

The PS5 is 10 months away, so not soon. The XB1 and XB1X are selling like shit, that's the only reason MS are being so open. And all this news is likely making sales even lower for those consoles. It's not hard to understand, is it?

PS4 is still selling great and has an awesome line up this year, unlike the XB1/X that have been abandoned as usual with little compelling softwsre until the end of the year.

LOL

Maybe both companies have divergent marketing strategies and are playing them out with no regard for their competitors .

MS seems damned if they show games and equally damned if they don't. Only on teh forums.

Sony is a juggernaut, they will continue to be. I'm sure MS is looking at their own business and attempting to check boxes based on the growth of their platform, rather than the extinction of another.

Always find it funny how these arguments turn into my console sells better than yours.

Xbox One has been selling terribly for a long time now and you think only now Microsoft decided to do something about it? Or maybe the case is that Microsoft is actually preparing for a new console launch and trying to get people excited about it and it's ecosystem as a whole.

10-20 years payback on investment is normal. Look at Minecraft.

[edit - you said revenue not profit - maybe right then ]

Dunno about respawn

And you comment about Xbox One and X being abandoned couldn't be more wrong as Microsoft pledged support for them for at least a year with their first party games.

Minecraft's payback is much better than 10 - 20 years. Is Minecraft only worth 10x Remedy considering the impact its had on gaming as a whole and has sold over 175 million copies and is one of the best selling games of all time?

Buying 10 Remedy's wont have the same impact that Minecraft can.

To be clear, I don't think either side should buy them at that price. The stock at that price is great for the shareholders but not the people looking to own them.

Shinobi shot down the Ready at Dawn rumors on Era, what else could OsirisBlack OsirisBlack have been hinting at?

? An Order sequel was one possibility from the description Osiris gave. He never mentioned any game or dev?

It could be RAD's new original AAA console game as listed for the last few years on their website or be a game by any other big dev?

Buying 10 Remedies could equal 10 AAA games that could bring tons of people to your platform so not necessarily true.

Remedy is not making AAA games with its current staffing and expense level. More AA. Love Remedy's games but they don't have the budget to make AAA games. $17M in salaries does not allow that type of staffing. If you want 10 AAA games you need to staff to those levels which means an even higher purchase price and investment.

Also, each of those is a risk on if they can actually sell that many games. Remedy does not have any massive homeruns under its belt from a sales perspective (not critically) so are you willing to pay 10x revenue for them?

Knock this low brow console war bait off.

The shit is on a two-way street, not just one way.
