I’m happy as long as both consoles are on par with each other and one doesn’t have a massive edge. The SSD “edge” that people are on about is nothing to be concerned about, it’s a fanboy bullet point. The other stuff seems to be pretty much on par, and a difference of 5-10% of anything may as well be a fart in the wind. It would be really bad for everybody if one console was far better than the other.

Because they're not the direct source of the information. It's about what their sources know and/or telling them. Might be wrong but from what I've observed, there's a mutual respect (regarding the leaks) between this two confirming that at least some of the stuff is correct for both parts.

Because their sources could have different devkits. I remember a leak, don't know if it was reddit or 4chan, claiming that only 3rd party close to Sony already has Prospero, but only 1st party devs got the 2nd prototype code name Verona, to prevent leaks. That could be all bullshit, but it actually makes sense...
