Been hooked on Sundered like crazy for the past couple of hours. It's soooo good. Metroidvania at its finest. Very cool artstyle. The bosses in particular are very impressive.

A game called Gris popped up on a page on the EU Playstation Store and I bought it immediately after seeing the trailer. Hadn't heard of it before but visually it's 100% my thing. Played through the entoire game in a single setting in a few hours - it's a fairly simple action/puzzle game but it feels like playing through a Moebius comic :

Marvel vs. Capcom Infinite is pretty badass, picked it up last week and I've been enjoying the hell out of it. I can understand some of the criticism it received, especially coming off of 3, but I mean, the gameplay is crazy good. A few things:

- I really like them going back to a 4 button scheme
- Everyone says it looks like a mobile game, and I don't know, I like a lot of the models. Yeah it's not the love letter MvC3 was, I'm not going to argue it 's incredible or anything, but I think people are a bit harsh on the visuals overall.
- The active switching is awesome and really opens up interesting possibilities for creativity that weren't possible with the old assists.
- The lack of Xmen really hurts an MvC game, and some of the character selections are just odd I think. DLC was weak as well.

Still playing Shenmue 3. Finishing up the 2nd playthrough for platinum - almost done (I missed just couple of sub quests... that I'm making up) - going really fast.

The battle was too easy on Normal, so I upped the difficulty to Hard. It makes a bit more enjoyable - hardest seems to be just too hard. Problem is, if I set to hard mode, the timer for duck/chicken catching gets shortend considerably - and I suck at those... so I've been toggling difficulty to give me a break on those.

DLC just came out for Shenmue 3 - haven't bought it yet - but thinking about buying Season pass. Battle rally seems to be somewhat interesting with more collectathon elements and all - but I'm more interested in story expansion pack. Not too sure if I will dive into it right now - but will do when all 3 DLCs are available at the same time.

Next game? It's either DQ XI on PS4... or maybe I will follow up with the resident evil series. I only began to play RE6 long time ago but didn't finish... Re5 and Revelation 1 on 3DS was my final RE games - so I may end up start playing RE6, then Revelations 2, then move onto RE7 in VR (if I can).. before i finally dive into my much anticipated RE2 remake. LOL...

I’ve been playing Diablo 3 on switch and it’s a damn good port. I played D3 a bunch back on the 360 and finishing Children of Morta (a solid indie Diablo rogue like) recently got me itching for more.

The Necromancer class is a blast, literally and figuratively.

Hopping back and forth between Yakuza 0 and Gravity Rush 2, with a little Painkiller sprinkled in when I feel up for it. Having a great time with all of them.

A few weeks ago, I started RDR 2 and well, that didn't last long. Quit after 8 hours. Everything was excellent except for what matters most to me - the combat, gunplay and shooting mechanics. Just couldn't get into the combat. Just way too stiff and clunky for me.

Since then, I finally played through Yakuza Zero (8.5/10), Remnant: From the Ashes (8.0/10) and just finished Ratchet and Clank (8.5/10) from 2016 which really surprised me. Such a great game and absolutely gorgeous to look at and the gameplay is excellent. HDR was also very well implemented. Looking forward to the rumored sequel for PS5.

I work the next three or four days so won't play anything until next weekend but when I do, Watch Dogs 2 is up next on the backlogged list. I have played about a third of the game before and I easily prefer the original game but will just play through the short story campaign so I can knock it off the list. Really hoping Watch Dogs Legion turns out to be a lot better for me.

I’ve been starting a game and then starting another. Which feels very good and also confusing. I don’t know which to finish.

Star Ocean First Departure - I’m about 10 hours into it. I’m grinding my characters because where I’m at was 3-5 levels above my current stats. I’ve since hit that level increase.

Devil Summoner 2: Raidou Kuzunoha vs. King Abaddon on PS3 via digital PS2 game. I felt like a more action based JRPG. Plus the characters and the world are enjoyable. I’m about 2 hours into it.

I started Spirit Hunter: NG and Etrian Odyssey. I put a couple hours in each. They’re good, but I wanted to play on the TV.

I’m almost finished re-replaying DMC3SE HD. I’m on Mission 18. I wonder what Capcom has in store for us on the 30th of this month.

I’ve been playing Chrono Trigger on my phone and that’s been enjoyable. I try and replay it every couple years.

Guilty Gear Rev 2, excited for Granblue Fantasy Versus. I downloaded and played some Battle Fantasia. I must really enjoy Arc Systems because I love going back to their older games. I also got the Championship Edition of SFV. I would play MvC:I, but the whole thing about no X-Men was a huge let down.

I don’t exactly stay focused if I’m not playing a new release. Crazy, but true. Either way I’m having fun. Just wish I knew which one to finish first.

Judgement: Made from the same developers as the Yakuza franchise

Rainbow six siege and COD are the main multiplayer games I'm playing at the moment.

Was thinking if I should start Mad max

Still playing Yo-kai Watch 3 -- it's been my toilet game for months now. :D

But I'm thinking of either going back to Fire Emblem Valentia or Tactics Ogre...

Any fav characters so far?

Bruh, I love GG. Nice. Same question as above: any favs?
I’ve been a huge Sol Badguy fan since # Reloaded. I think it comes from him always being on the cover as well as his move set. I call him Eddie still, but Zeto-1 is real cool. I also like Slayer and Axl. I don’t put as much practice in with the other characters like I do with Sol. I’ll do all the advanced combos. I also like Order Sol. I really like Testament. He just never made it into the Xrd series.

Beat Max Payne 1 and 2

Max Payne 2 is a straight up masterpiece, the first is not bad too

Playing Max Payne 3 - complete shite so far. The amount of cutscenes is comically high and the writing is typical gta

I stopped playing Secret of Mana because Collection of Mana on the Switch has a terrible controller bug that should be an easy fix, but Square Enix hasn’t patched it yet, for some reason. It makes the games almost unplayable.

So, I switched to Breath of Fire instead. A series which I own, but never really gave the time of day. Against most advice, I am starting with the first BoF. It’s basic, but so far, so good.

damn the re calibrating didn’t work?

Currently finishing octopath still and dipped back into hollow knight finally beat watcher knight and hornet 2.0.. both fantastic games.

Demon's Souls. Back to where it all started.
It makes me realise that I'm in no rush for the next gen, playing it with a dualshock 4 I completely forget I'm playing on a ps3 until I need to turn the console off (because the PS button doesn't work, but it can turn the console on...).
After this one I have Kingdoms of Amalur to play. I want to clear the ps3 backlog before ps5 arrives.

I'm playing A Plague Tale: Innocence at the moment and although I don't like this kind of games I'm finding it very good. The music is awesome, the graphics is beautiful and although very linear the atmosphere and sense of constant danger keeps the game very interesting. RPG elements like crafting and loot in part hidden, it gives you a sense of rewarding specially when you try to explore a bit. If you have a chance to try it or you like this genre, I can only recommend this game. Anyhow I'm playing it on Gamepass for PC, totally worth. :messenger_blowing_kiss:

I haven’t tried it yet. I’ve been playing Breath of Fire and just finished it today.

My god, what a fucking slog that game was. Boring, repetitive tedium.

I might have to take an RPG break after that before diving back in to Secret of Mana.

I’ve gone from Zelda: Link’s Awakening —> Dragon Quest XI S —> Baldur’s Gate —> BG: Tales of the Sword Coast —> Baldur’s Gate II —> BG2: Throne of Bhaal —> Breath of Fire

Might need a change of pace, but nothing’s jumping out at me right now. I wasted tonight playing Tetris 99 and Uno, lol.

Yeah I started Breath of Fire but I just couldn't get into it. I liked II much better. I feel like that's all I'm playing on my switch too. After Hollow Knight and Octopath queued up I have Ni No Kuni, TMS, and to finish Star Ocean. Eventually I go back to Mana Collection but adventure is tough to get through.

DANG brother Scopa, you're on quite the RPG kick. Was that on purpose?

Mix it up with some more puzzle games or shmups, duh 🍦

Just hold the ps button down you can turn the console off the controller off ect.

I collected a ton of Nintendo titles over the year last year and spent almost zero time playing any of them. This year I am fixing that issue and currently am playing Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3 as a very rough around the edges all Spiderverse party.

I started playing this again about 6 months ago and I got stuck in a room full of acid and couldn’t work out how to get out, lol. I gave up!

Was it near the beginning? with the floor collapsing?

I jsut got past that part. I only played HL1 for the first time a couple years ago. Great game

Borderlands 3 on the PS4 Pro. It's surprisingly fun collecting and farming for all the Legendary guns. It's a beautiful game on an 82" Samsung HDR TV. Once in a while I would participate and try to help my wife out on Luigi Mansion 3, Mario Odyssey and Let's go Eevee. Having a great time with these! Next up after BL3 will be Yakuza 0.

My wife and I have started to play Overcooked 1. She never plays video games but so far we have spent 3 hours on the game. She is even happy to help me get 3 stars on every stage.
We laughed at the wheelchair bound Raccoon that we unlocked. INCLUSIVE.

Still playing Japanese Super Mario Bros 2 too, shits hard and cant pass World 4 yet.

I beat Timespinner recently. Good game. A fun little metroidvania that I think was a good start if they plan to make others, it had a lot of promise, just didn’t fully realize its potential.

Playing Astral Chain now. Enjoying it.

well, i screwed it up. I did some kind of update or something and tried to fix a mod in skyrim and screwed it all up. Now, I can play about 5 minutes and the game quits on me.
It's ok though, I have an older save before i used mods so i will just replay the last 20 or so hours. That sucks too though.

And I went to the doctor yesterday because I thought I had the flu, so they did that test where they stick a swab up your nose.
I kinda made a little scream and they made fun of me the rest of the time I was there. It turned up negative though so no one knows what I have.
They just gave me a bunch of antibiotics and stuff then asked if I wanted another flu test while they laughed at me again.
Didn't even give me a lolipop or anything so I took a whole handful of their mints they had on the counter.

Picked up a bunch of stuff in the EU PSN sale including What Remains of Edith Finch - which I've consistently heard good things about, and it was the price of a sandwich.

I should have got a sandwich.

Incredibly janky, not a compelling story and felt like it ended just once it had gotten into it's stride (or they just back loaded the few imaginative vignettes). Writing nowhere near as clever as it thinks it is.

Bollocks.
