That section of the PS Store just lists titles that you can preorder. Most VR titles can’t be preordered.
Lots of negativity in here, lmao, why? People angry and defensive, lol.
Why are you turning this on me? This thread went from 0 to psycho with very little involvement from me.It's not the topic itself of even some fanboyism for Sony.
It's more that it's a DynamiteCop thread.
The guy is pretty good at expressing his feelings and making decent points.
But he's got a way about him that just turns people the wrong way and then goes full sanctimonious asshole when people either don't agree with him or call him out on being overly aggressive.
Doesn't make for pleasant discussion.
Let's be real here...
(Shows cherry picked photo)
Been like this for what seems like months. Phil was right to not chase this dead end, and Sony is yet again letting one of their peripherals just die without so much as a whimper or trying to do anything with it.
Any other true VR owners feel like if your not holding the weapon in your hand and have to rely on canned animations in your average non VR game, a huge step back?
Ah, I'm on the Valve Index, but I do have both. Many issues with the PSVR are solved on Index or not as much an issue.I mean, speaking of PSVR, yes, of course. Only a few of the games are made to work with PS Move, the rest all require the standard controller. And let me tell you, when you're trying to do a thing that requires you to throw something in VR a really long way with precision, you become very damn aware you're holding a controller.
There might actually be more upcoming and new PSVR games than Xbox exclusive ones. Lol.
Jacksepticeye is playing it currently (Pewdiepie's friend).
Me too, so that makes 3 people at least...
The amount of non-arguments taking place, personal insults, insecure fanboy oriented dismissals, attempted shifts to sales figures, goading as if there's some kind of envy (I own the damn thing lol) and somehow dragging Xbox into the discussion is pretty incredible.
I've never seen this amount of insane defense for something which is on a pretty severe downturn, getting substantially less software than normal, getting much worse software and only about 4.7% of the install base actually purchased it.
Where do you people come from?

Do you see me insulting and personally attacking people? Editing pictures of other members and posting them? Making posts without substantive qualities to play devil's advocate or drive by shit posting?
No, no you do not. People need to get their emotions under control, use their higher brain function and actually attempt to make posts which address the issue. That's very infrequently happening, out of nearly 200 posts maybe about 20 of them are actually an honest attempt at discussion.
You seem like a nice and level headed guy, so please....
I love my PSVR personally. There is literally a constant stream of new games (not only DLC) being released for it. I can't even keep up with all of them. Really confused by the point of this thread. Sorry, OP but your dead wrong.
of course, Phill was right, when hes ever wrong?
Space Channel 5 coming soon too, not sure if anyone mentioned it. We're nearing the end of the gen so I'm not sure what the big surprise is?
Beat Saber has become my daily cardio session. I love it.
Beat Saber is the JAM! ANd the PSVR version is the best version (despite the wires). In fact that is the games I always show off to my non VR friends. Every single person I have done this with has gone on to purchase a PSVR or Oculus Quest.
PSVR is the best version of beat saber?
Lol what?
the tracking on psvr is worse and there is no MOD support. For my part, I've got a small collection of VR games I've been meaning to start/finish, but it's a matter of not having my dumb cats around to mess with the wires. And it takes a small amount of set up, so it's not perfect for pick up and play sessions. I'd be interested in seeing what the next version is like.
I've read comparisons saying there is noticeably less lag with the PSVR version, but that the other detractions of playing the game on console outweigh that small benefit.

honestly the only reason i keep playing the game on pc is mod support.
there are a lot of great vr games on the ps4 but beat saber? eh
well that's the problem MOD support is amazing for a music game.I can't speak for any other version, as PSVR is the only VR set I have. What is wrong with the version? Having wires is annoying, but other than that, I haven't had any issues with the game.

basically playing whatever track you want to and beatmap sharing etc
yup and the devs actively tried to break this for a long time. because they wanted to sell their own stuff ofc. That makes sense. I would like more songs. Do modders usually do a good job with setting up the levels with the music?
Oh sit down. You created a troll thread and people (rightly) called you out on your bullshit. stop whining and trying to act like a victimThe amount of non-arguments taking place, personal insults, insecure fanboy oriented dismissals, attempted shifts to sales figures, goading as if there's some kind of envy (I own the damn thing lol) and somehow dragging Xbox into the discussion is pretty incredible.

Because if all PlayStation VR is dead, someone needs to tell Sony fast. They're making a 2.0 headset going into next generation. You would have thought someone would have let them know it was dead already.
The very fact that you're trying to associate this thread as some kind of troll immediately makes me not take you seriously because frankly it's beyond lazy. Vawn hasn't accomplished anything, he does the same rinse and repeat schtick where he sparsely engages and leverages something as fanboyism to usurp giving actual criticism.I love this thread. Every now and then you get these troll threads, and certain members are really good at making the trolls go nuclear. Shout out to Vawn .
PSVR is still the most comfortable headset out there, and is the most future proof, with tons of support. The Pimax is impressive but PiTools needs a lot of work and the comfort it terrible (let’s see how great the new Pimax is). The Index is the most well-rounded, but still lacking in FOV, comfort and controllers. Oculus Quest is a great companion product just because Vader Immortal 1-3 are great, but it’s the most uncomfortable and the FOV is so restrictive, the refresh rate is also killer. Still, a Quest 2 would be intriguing.
Shout out also to the mods for acting like the camera men on nature shows when a predator hunts down prey.

Uhm.. what?"PSVR has no exclusives"
And those 5 % are only the sold units. Of which a lot are collecting dust, no doubt. Vr will stay a niche as long as it requires bulky headsets (so probably always, because you want to eliminate all external light) that make you sweat.Difficult to commit to making big software for it when you can only address 5% of the marketplace.
You use really weird data material to support your claim. VR/AR devs are interested in VR/AR, wow.Seems to be doing fine to me.
