Yea where I am now they wont say specific numbers but "comparable to a 2080 super" is what I am hearing. I really don't give a fuck what the numbers are both machines are going to be awesome.

Pretty interesting you saying that as I have been told directly the XsX will perform similar to that same card.

I asked performance wise or straight up numbers are matching and he said again perform.

This is great man. I am really fucking hyped for these systems and to know I'll have my psv by Nov barring the virus doesn't affect anything. Broooooo just think we'll be getting some dope ass action rpgs from the like of from software I won't even go into the Sony Santa Monica, Naughty Dog, etc games well get.

While interviewing Tripwire Interactive (Red Orchestra, Killing Floor, Rising Storm) CEO John Gibson about the upcoming 'SharkPG' Maneater, Kai got the following comment about next-gen consoles.

Without giving away anything I'm under NDA with, I think they're a major generational leap.
Some of the things that people are talking about like SSDs, well, people tend to think about faster GPUs and faster CPUs, but 5200 RPM hard drives are terrible with long load times. We have an open world game like Maneater and it means we can only have the shark move so fast because other things can't stream in in time. It really opens up what you can do with the game. The other things like the faster GPU and CPU, those things are great too, [and] more RAM. All of those things are a pretty big generational leap. I'm really excited about what we'll be able to do with our current and our upcoming games on new hardware.

I often wonder that if these sites are so desperate for clicks that they essentially will post videos on any old bollocks people post here, what the hell they will be like when actual bombs drop.

I mean, I can already see die hard fanboys crying and chomping at the bit to prove their console is better in any way at all. That’s standard. But these guys seem utterly desperate for anything. Like, it could leak that the disk slot is on the right this time, and there would be 17 you tubers posting half hour videos each...

Thts different than cinema mode which psvr already has and you can use as a screen to play any game. On this note I was thinking about how cool it would be if thy did find a way to play all games in a VR mode kind of like how thy incorporated move to work with alot of games in the past.

Never tried VR of any kind, was hesitant to get the current one. My older brother has one but should borrow it and give it a shot. My eyes is on the new PSVR2 and a new PS headset with and sound tracing, 3D audio is already in PS4 but only a handful of games support it through PS Platinum headset.

Bro psvr as we all know is limited buttttttt it's such a dope experience. Astro bot is sublime, Resi Evil in VR mode is like a diff game, so fucking immersive. It was well worth it to me.

It is safe to assume that PS5 and XsX will be using Wifi6 otherwise they will be shooting themselves in the foot. I have talked to ISP providers: AT & T, Verizon, Xfinity and they have all stated at best they can provide 1 Gbps. Do you guys know any ISP's that can provide 10 Gbps? For better explanation of how game changing (it is not just faster speeds) Wifi6 is, please watch this video:

Yeah I have 1gig fios plan and surprisingly my ps4 tests sometimes actually show 800mb download speeds so I'm happy with it.

How much does it cost you per month and who is your provider? I dont even watch tv. I just need internet that's all.

I just can't comprehend how a GPU that currently sells from 700-850$ USD is going to perform equal to whatever is in XsX and PS5. It's mindblowingly exciting!

It's 80 a month for me for a gig (I don't have cable just internet) , no throttling, no data caps and uploads are just as fast as downloads and it's Verizon fios. I had spectrum with 400 mbs for the same price so I went back to fios, tht was a no brainer.

It's not safe to assume, 802.11ac was fresh in 2013 and the consoles did not launch with it. I assume they will just be 802.11ac.

Will never happen. Xbox One was basically a $199 machine since 2014, sold third of PS4 .

$399/499 Xbox 360 couldn't outsell $600/500 PS3 (overall WW sales not NPD only)

The original Xbox slashed its price to $199 shortly after release and couldn't outsell PS2 despite being twice as powerful (that's more than 100% GPU power not including other advantages (arch and Ram)

Only way for MS to outsell Playstation is simply buying the division (brand) from Sony, and good damn luck with that 🤣

yeah, phil got rid of kinect and released a $399 xbox by april or may of 2014 iirc. didnt really make a dent. i also remember it selling for $299 that holiday season and well below that and heavily bundled every holiday season after that. it did actually beat the ps4 a couple of times in november in NA, but the ps4 was far more powerful worldwide and in december, and well every other month of the year.

the fact that they were on par and cheaper for 6 and a half of the 7 year gen and still only sold less than half is pretty telling. but i do think the u.s loves the xbox and there is a chance they get some of those hardcore users back.
