Just wow! One of my favorite games of all time, I just can't count how many hours I've spent on that. The soundtracks are insane for that system as well, it was pure sorcery! I've been listening to it a while ago :messenger_tears_of_joy: It's strange how an exotic/unfamiliar language didn't stop millions around the globe from enjoying those Japanese games.

Yeah...this is bothering me. Shit may be about to get real, on the world wide scale. Saw that Iran...IRAN has 28 infected, 6 dead. If this is truly starting to pop up everywhere, which it looks like it is, then the cat's out of the bag. Won't be able to isolate it to one country or region and it seems contagious enough to spread EVERYWHERE.

This is why I REALLY wish that WHO or the CDC would make an announcement on exactly how bad this bug is. Is it the same lethality as the usual flu? Better? Worse? We need to know that. If it's worse than the standard flu's then it's time to start making sure you have food, water and masks for in case you need to go out where other people are. If it's just like another flu...well, we'll probably all get it but 99% will be fine. But we need to KNOW this.

I saw South Korea having a couple of outbreaks as well. Samsung shut down a big factory because one of the workers was diagnosed. This could end up being a bigger deal than we initially thought it was. This thing seems highly, highly contagious and it's incubation period is now up to almost a month. That's a LONG time. Some cases already where it was transmitted by someone who never got ill.

Anyway, hopefully this is just like a regular flu and impact will be minimal. But it sure SEEMS right now like it's worse than that. We shall see!

Sony had distribution the likes SEGA and Nintendo could've only dreamed of, and they used that in full with PS1. But for graphics it probably comes down to what you like. N64 had blurry textures and fog, Saturn had a grainer look to 3D and difficulty with transparencies. PS1 was a good middle ground between them when it came to 3D, more suited for it than Saturn but with better textures than N64.

Havnt seen it, thanks. We have heard similar news. I do wish my Alexa was compatible with my Playstation. I love using it to turn off/on stuff lol

Considering PSVR2. I hope the graphene induced batteries are becoming cheap very fast. It will make cableless headsets a walk in the park. Saw the first market ready battery already. It has double the charging cycles, can be charged faster, doesn't get hot etc.

I mean, sure, Sony will reveal PS5 when they are ready, but I don't fully understand their marketing strategy this time. Why did they give us pieces of information as early as October 2019 and why did they show the logo at CES only to maintain radio silence now? They could at least continue giving us some smaller bits of information. I preferred the way they handled PS4 reveal.

Yeah that’s what I mean, if they see the frustration potentially they could put out a stay calm see you in April or whatever. But if there is a stalemate with MS maybe they genuinely don’t know when. Maybe they are looking to pounce like the last generation reveal, but MS surely won’t be dumb enough to cock up their messages like last time.

It will be everywhere. Just by looking to virulency, incubation period and easiness of transfer is enough to tell that it'll be a new flu. And you can't stop a flu.
And everyone should understand that we are looking at picture that is 1-2 weeks old. This means that it's probably already some large outbreaks brewing across the globe, just not revealed yet.
In this situation complains about cancelling participation in events on the basis "just exclude china" are short-sighted.

With how long they are waiting, I hope we get to see some longer term projects and not just launch window.

Stuff like God of War 2, Horizon 2, ND project, etc etc

Even if it’s just a tease to get us hyped of the future

Not trying to be a smart ass but we have time frame when it’s coming.

Sure I want to actually see it in action as much as anybody but we will.

Besides technically all we have seen officially from Xbox is a render, a 24 FPS music video and a vague 2 X the power of current X statement.

For the PS5 we have seen dev kits and from what I gather will be close to final form and gameplay of Godfall though that was running on PC

That's the problem with viruses. You can't really treat the VIRUS itself, just the symptoms. So for flu patients of all the varieties, it's keeping people hydrated and preventing their bodies from causing lung inflammation or something that will kill them. True, there now are a FEW true anti-viral drugs out there but they are in short supply and expensive. No way to treat a whole nation let alone the world. Which is why some will and still die from the various flu's out there. It's often their own body's efforts to fight off the bug that kills them. Causing lungs to swell and fill with fluid or things like that. We've all likely had the same bug that cause the "Spanish Flu" of 1918 by now. But we're used to it. They weren't at the time and so it had a worse effect. That's why we have to be careful of things like Covid-19 until we know more about it and frankly, till it's been out there for a while. I'm sure this is now just another of the flu's that will be traveling the world going forward. The key is what happens in the first outbreak or two and how far that goes. Or if the virus mutates of course, although mutations usually result in LESS lethality from these viruses, not more. We will see....

I even bought a japanese-english translator booklet back in the day for Captain Tsubasa II. By the time Winning Eleven released, I could read all the names easily and my friends would ask me who's who when they're setting up their teams for our local competitions :messenger_beaming:

Yeah, it's not gonna be fun. Whoever mentioned earlier that we're basically getting news a few weeks old is right. For example, Iran....if Iran got 28 cases they have now from say 2-3 people...how many others have those 28 infected over the past few weeks? People who wouldn't be showing symptoms yet, perhaps. Bottom line, this is probably just one of the new bugs we'll all be getting. The key is in hoping that it IS just like the regular flu, and not something worse. Sooner or later though, we likely WILL be facing something worse. It's just numbers.
