thinks Halo Infinite is a new graphical benchmark
Not watching this if I haven't watched the previous seasons some of the characters don't say much, the show including Breaking Bad has been around for 10+ years I think its going to be a banger.

I really love Better Call Saul. Like it better than Breaking Bad. I’m watching on Netflix so I’m a season behind. But I’m a sucker for bingeing this show.

While I did like season 4 I felt like it had the least amount “happen”. The start and end of the season were pretty big. I loved at the end of 4 when he walked away and said “S’all good man”.

Season 5 is looking like it will be my favorite. Bring on Saul!!!

502 tonight, what a blessing

'Jimmy's Surprise' Sneak Peek Ep. 502 | Better Call Saul

for some reason AMC removed the trailer for 502

Jimmy is the most boring character in this show. This wasn't always the case though. The last 4 seasons already told me who he was. Why is Kim still around? Are they gonna drag this like TWD? Are we ever gonna see where his "present" life is going? More than 5 minutes? Yes I watch this show for Mike/Gus now and yes even with the hang ups in plot it has become better than Breaking Bad.

For me Mike and Nacho have been the most fun.

GREAT first couple of episodes

Might have to watch Breaking Bad a third time, as extreme of a task as that is. One hell of a ride even during the second time I watched it

Staying away from reading this thread until I finally watch the first episode I have sitting on my desktop, probably tonight. Then I guess I'll still be behind by one... but soon I'll be caught up.

Anyhow, I can't wait. There's nothing else available to me in the TV space that takes its time the way BCS does and rewards contemplative viewing.

First episode was solid, second episode was filler trash (although the elevator scene was great).

They put a good amount of effort into making up for nothing happening last season with the first episode of this season, which I appreciated, but the pre-title scene of episode 2 sums up last night's episode.

Sometimes the slice of life can go too far, Vince.

Daily reminder that "50%? That's almost half!" was literally a joke in the script.

Thankfully we've got 8 episodes left, and Jimmy and Kim will finally split by the end of them.

Excellent first episode.
I really like Mike, he could of had his own series.
Really interested in seeing more of the beginning stages of his story.
It's interesting that he does not like Gus, in breaking bad Mike seems to respect Gus, he is even willing to die for Gus, but now in BCS he hates his guts I wonder how that changes.

That 2nd episode was kinda weak. I'm a huge fan of this show and think the writing is next-level, but this episode was borderline cartoonish.
Not really breh, Nacho is fighting hard to keep his pop alive, Mike is struggling, Gus is relentless in his decision to eliminate Lalo, Saul is hitting his stride big time, Hector back in play

I can just tell, this season is going to have some stellar moments in the episodes to come

It all just looked so dumb. We didn't need all that footage of the 2 idiots who thought, "50% is almost half!" leading to drugs stuck in a pipe, leading to Crazy 8 getting caught, leading to Lalo in a car with other cartoon characters all smiling and watching, leading to Nacho becoming Batman on the roof, ect.

Just a big miss for me overall. Just not suspending my disbelief and it's the first time I've felt that way. And then we get Jimmy perfectly pulling off an unlikely elevator con immediately after the cartoon was over.

you think lalo is gonna go this season without doing some gruesome cartel shit?

is this season gonna end leaving lalo in the "not so bad villain" category?

ask me, i say lalo gonna skin somebody alive in front of saul

He's extremely close to Hector. Who else can we name that are extremely close to Hector Salamanca? The cousins....that's what intrigues me about Lalo

He operates in such an unorthodox way that I cannot even predict. But if I know Vince Gilligan's genius in any slight form, I can predict this: that no matter how Lalo is taken out, it's going to be a statement death put out for many to see so that they know exactly what Gustavo Fring is capable of. Mike is butting heads with Gus in his distaste for how Gus maneuvers through obstacles, how he approaches business. But I think after Lalo, the pecking order will be absolute, and I don't think even Mike Ehrmantraut will think twice about falling in line

Lalo has good instincts. But the way he's confronting all these people...He goes straight to them with zero fear and lets his own enemy know what he's thinking directly....It's such an idiotic move to be handling business the way he is. I'm trying to figure out if he's truly an imbecile who thinks he's untouchable for whatever reasons or if he's really a legitimate drug lord mastermind with a plan of his own in the works?

There's no way to tell right now, just have to wait and see

Mike blowing up at his granddaughter was one of the most contrived things I've seen in this show, easily.
