Exactly. STOP SEXUALISING WAAAAMEENNNN
Its a fucking GAAAMMEEEE
Suda 51 never actually made the game, but I found it funTerrible fucking game and the trailer is about as edgelord as they come. Sudas worst work.
Maybe from some japanese devs or some indie devs that doesn't give a fuck about retarded soyboy mob on twitter...
Once the woke fad is over I'm sure we will get more of this awesomeness.
Culture goes in cycles; and when it rebounds it hits hard.
Just be patient.

Also fun fact. The script was written by Guardian of the Galaxy-director James Gunn.
This was not even that long ago, not publishers auto-censor themselves most of the time.
Two things:
1 - people (in the gaming press) complained about the sexualisation and objectification of the protagonist -- that may have led in part to the current situation
2 - I'm not sure if they would complain about the objectification or applaud the female empowerment?
This is not as if we had no Japanese games to fill this gap.
Yeah your right he does have a creative director credit, main director being Tomo Ikeda, so I stand corrected I thought his capacity had been more like executive producer over the releases between no more heroes and Travis strikes back a span of about 10 years, also I totally forgot James Gunn was a writer on this?
He was the one of the creative directors of the game.

Just jerk off to some porn like a normal human being.
"first they came for my animu waifu titty trailers"
This hobby has some fucking weirdos looking to die on some strange ass hills.
I'm optimistic, we will see more of this.
I remember it getting awful reviews, but I never played it. Games with similar vibes that I'd suggest: Saints Row IV (one of the favorite games ever), Bulletstorm, Sunset Overdrive.By the way, OP, just an off-topic recommendation, but consider getting NeverDead if you haven't playd it yet. Its definitely unique.
I really appreciate quirky games like this, games that dare to be themselves and sway off the straight path.

But if a women doesn't have a problem lending her talents to a sexualized character, why do you? This person actually got triggered. LolExactly. STOP SEXUALISING WAAAAMEENNNN

Stop insulting Japanese games, its childish. 1000x time Lollipop than BF3. So, respect other people TASTES. Opinions we can debate, tastes...NOT!

I could go into a long rant why it received poor reviews, but check out my write up in the "what are currently you playing?" thread and watch this video that addresses the ridiculous, nonsensial complaints the media apparenly had:

Reach those Killer 7 highs again Suda!
Yeah, or at least Shadows of the Damned. Although I think Mikami had much more creative control over that.
