Yeah, I love when PS fanboys act like PS4 has nothing but those 4-5 AAA titles like H:ZD, UC4, GoW etc. that are indeed a level above anything else, but forget about exclusives like inFamous:SS, KZ:SF, TO1886, Knack 1&2, The Last Guardian, Shenmue 3, Shadow of the Colossus, Days Gone, Dreams, DS, games that were literally either released unnoticed or were completely forgotten once the weekend ended in best case scenario. I mean, obviously the games were so mediocre even the fanboys forgot about them. Sony isn't any different than MS this gen, both have literally just a few jewels in their pocket, with many many exclusives that didn't caught up the wider audience attention. They might look better, but that's about it.

Mine is that if what Sony intends to do is to reveal the PS5 specs in early March, just a few days after MS, it is not to annunce that they have an inferior console.

Actually I'm kinda curious on will the TF number really play an important role in wether you will buy PS5 or not?
Because for me, NO. Even if the PS5 has a creazy low end and high priced like 8TF@499 I will still purchase it for I have a 2years of ps+ subscription and a 150+ digital games on my account. So technically I CAN'T switch to MS this generation.

I don't see that as a reason to not switch. I also got 2 years of Game Pass left as well as a big library of digital games but that doesn't mean I'm not switching to Playstation this gen in the beginning. I sometimes play older games again but not that often, it's still mostly about the new games. And I prefer them in the best quality, and that will probably decide my console of choice as long as the price is fair.

-Sony are scared, not talking. Skipped E3 last year, and this year as proof.
-MS is confident thats why they gave out the 12TF number.

Yeah friends is an important one. Sequels I don't really care about except Halo, which I'll just play on my old Xbox One then. God of War is a great example why it doesn't always matter to have played the games before and that games can reinvent themselves, as well as go downhill after the first one.

Having been in China over the Dec through Feb period on a number of occasions in a professional capacity, I can pretty much attest to the fact that this is an annual occurrence.

It's got less to do with COVID-19 and more to do with how the Chinese administration manages the tension between it's citizens suffering the ill effects of obscene industrial air pollution and the economic demands of the heavy industry driving their economy.

While illuminating, it's less relevant to consoles and the discussion here for other reasons too; namely, most of the manufacturing causing NO2 pollution isn't related at all to semi-conductors (which mostly is situated down in Taiwan, not even the mainland).

..according to the article (you read it right ;/ ) - the bounce back from a seasonal drop didn't occur this year. .. and though I agree with your potion about central government managing pollution - that looks like a total shutdown to me..

Reading this thread as of late, I see the idea of the redesign popping up again recently.Take whatever you wish from my statements here, I am just stating what I know and how I connect the dots between them. The idea we mentioned in the past about Jaguar being in a devkit is a a real thing as far as I know, whether as the final CPU for the intended product or as a stop gap for the first dev kits that were out there for it. Considering the timeline of when we heard about that, I also imagine it is not the next gen design we will be getting in 2020, since it was mainly scrapped and brought back to the drawing board.

After being called out on it fanning console wars, he walked back on it saying it was in a PS5Vdev kit. Keep im mind.. Cerny has stated numerous times that the Pro is NOT a new console, because it still has Jaguar CPUs and there has never been rumors suggesting PS5 dev kits ever had jaguar CPUs. To say this a year after the early "slow" PS5 dev kits had Ryzen CPUs in it is stupid.
