They emptied the mccaig tower at the foothills .Good video.
Hows it going in Alberta, you guys seem to have it somewhat under control. I remember when we had fewer cases than you a few weeks ago in Quebec. Ah the good old days. (well at least for me).
My wife has been cooking like three meals a day.. It's been ridiculous, but good.. Definitely need some of the lean times to come to help with my waist size
We've ordered delivery a couple of times but trying to do it in house as much as we can.
Press questions at the briefing have changed from questions about the pandemic to questions about impeachment because the Enemy of the People is starting to realize they won't be able to keep this up through November.
Media so desperate they're reading Biden's Tweets to Trump in the briefing. This is incredible TDS desperation.
BG rocks.
This ”enemy of the people”shit is so retarded my head explodes. This pandemic will surely bring out the best and worst in people.
Does that mean Bill Gates will be losing money? and he don't care, he cares more for the people?? if so i salute you Bill!!!

It's not a result of the pandemic, it's just easier to spot now because more eyes are on these briefings. The leading questions to serve certain narratives are difficult to miss. That kind of nonsense is bad enough during regular times, it's even worse now that everyone's looking for information tied to the virus and the government's response. Thankfully there's less of it on the weekends because the worst offenders like Jim Acosta, Peter Alexander and Yamiche Alcindor are absent.
White House correspondents should be reporters seeking questions of interest to the people, not political activists trying to become the story or feed a preconceived narrative (e.g. "He's a Russian agent").
I just want this whole craziness go pass and a vaccine made. Last night my anxiety creeped up and i had a panic attack. Was laying down in bed and couldn't sleep, had pressure on my chest and was hard to breathe. An hour passed and i couldn't take it, got up all panicky was walking all over the living room cause i couldn't get a whole breath in, woke up the wife telling her to call 911. They came and checked me out, said i was good and that it was a anxiety and stress. I calmed down and yeah, i was able to breathe better. I'm also chubbier due to all the eating that i'm doing being not able to go out and about to my local desert park and hike.
Finally, we have a 10 week plan to get American back to work by Harvey Fineberg, chairman of a committee with the National Academy of Sciences. He says: Instead of letting the virus dictate what we do, we need to be on the offensive and stop winging it. We need to fight this like a war. We need a plan to get back to work as soon as possible. Let's crush the curve.
1. Establish unified command.
We need to mobilize every civilian & military asset needed to win the war. Each governor should also appoint a commander with similar authority at the state level
2. Make millions of diagnostic tests available.
America needs to carry out millions of diagnostic tests in the next 2 weeks. Such a strategy was successfully used in South Korea. Testing is our form of intelligence" in the military sense.
3. Supply health workers with PPE and equip hospitals to care for a surge in severely ill patients.
We don't send soldier to fight a war without guns. Health workers on the front lines of this war deserve no less.
4. Differentiate the population into five groups and treat accordingly.
a) those infected with #COVID19
b) those presumed to be infected based on symptoms
c) those exposed to someone
d) those who are not known to have been exposed to or infected
e) those who recovered
People in first 2 groups might need to be hospitalized. Quarantine those exposed to Covid-19 for 2 weeks. Using an antibody test would help us identify people who are immune. Those who have recovered can get back to work ASAP.
5. Inspire and mobilize the public.
U.S. postal service and other delivery companies could deliver surgical masks to every American. Everybody should wear a mask.
6. Learn while doing through real-time, fundamental research.
Does that mean Bill Gates will be losing money? and he don't care, he cares more for the people?? if so i salute you Bill!!!
Anyone can learn to be one. I think you have what it takes. It's actually not that hard to level up to a fairly competent level. Youtube is a great resource for learning just about any skill. It impacts the feeling of freedom and quality of life for sure unless you live with an excellent cook. Ugh this is going to suck more than I thought.
As long as his Vaccines don't contain any microchips to track peopleDoes that mean Bill Gates will be losing money? and he don't care, he cares more for the people?? if so i salute you Bill!!!

Oh, you're one of those. He is a merciless, inhumane scumbag. He (and his wife) already had a patent on the coronavirus prior to the outbreak.
Get an instapot? (easier said than done, I know)I'm not awful at cooking but due to my health issues anything over 15 minutes risk me fainting. Passing out while cooking would be bad for me. It happens too often already. Most of the things I really enjoyed making takes a few hours of prep and cooking time.
You guys should check out this man. He will clearly explain that we've been lied to. Even he, who has criticized conspiracy theorists in the past, feels that there is something very sinister going on.

this guy is more full of shit than a broken toilet
This is interesting too. (Also interesting that nobody seemingly has bothered to translate this into English... NOBODY has picked this up...
Ironic since many there do not trust the UN or WHO to treat/vaccinate for Ebola.Congo ready to be the worlds guinea pig.
DR Congo 'prepared' to take part in vaccine testing: official
The Democratic Republic of Congo is prepared to take part in testing of any future vaccine against the coronavirus, the head of the country's taskforce against the pandemic said on Fridawww.news24.com
Can you elaborate, instead of going ad hominem? You don't think this mass hysteria is irrational? You don't think there's something to be gained by the already mega wealthy, who own official news outlets and have the government in their pocket? Like the 2007/8 crash, it will result into a wealth inequality beyond imagination. Life hasn't been the way it was ever since; we never recovered from it. This will have serious consequences. There will be the rich and the poor, and nothing in-between, in a highly technological surveillance-driven society, far exceeding the post-9/11 world.
Go and read some cyberpunk stuff, they already knew what was coming.
Oh boy, of course you would turn out to be a conspiracy theory spouting nut bag.
Not sure if this has been posted yet, but check out this pneumonia line graph...
Makes sense. Most viral pneumonia deaths get logged as "pneumonia" deaths most years because nobody bothers to take a deep dive to figure out which particular virus caused it unless it was something readily tested for such as influenza.
This year, many more of them are getting attributed to COVID than pneumonia apparently. This supports the idea that a lot of these COVID deaths are severely compromised patients that would have died anyway, and are not contributing to "excess deaths".
You can call me anything you want, I don't really care. Many people have legitimate questions, more than you realize. And you don't have to be a "conspiracy theorist" to understand that there is a pre-COVID-19 world, and a post-COVID-19 world that will be barely recognizable from the prior.
There are legitimate questions - however you aren’t asking any.
There's a legitimate discussion to be had about the merits of the quarantine measures, however you don't start it by spouting bullshit about Bill Gates having a vaccine. That makes you look like a shit-for-brains with no critical thinking ability. If you want to talk about that we have a special thread just for you.No, we should completely ruin our social and economic fabric, and the future of our children for the sake of a tiny, tiny percentage of very old people (a fraction of old people die from COVID-19). Very rational.

Christ alive man, look at the state of the hospitals in countries where this has spread.
This is about making sure the healthcare systems (along with support systems such as emergency call lines, pharmaceuticals, etc) are not completely crippled so that people are having to be refused critical treatment/advice (whether it's COVID-19 related or not) and then dying at home or on the streets as a result.
So yeh, lets carry on as usual and spread this around while our medical professionals work 24/7 with inadequate equipment and rest. In such a scenario you'd better hope you don't get in a road accident of some sort (or trip down the stairs in your rush to get to work), you're not going to be able to get the assistance you require, if at all.
Like it or not (you might take it for granted) but readily available and high quality healthcare is a core underpinning of modern societies, and we all wouldn't be able to go about our day to day lives without it being there readily available for us.
Whatever it takes to keep the fear and hysteria machine cranking.A few things things to say about that: first that there's plenty of data from Italy comparing their current death rates with the average ones in this time period, and they're significantly higher. Hospitalization rates reflect that too. Second thing is that the curve is below the second lowest one in the first weeks of January, and by late February it's noticeably lower. This was a period in which few or no deaths from COVID-19 were reported in the US, in fact the deaths did not start occurring to any noticeable degree until week 13, which isn't even in the graph. Even if there were COVID-19 deaths in that period they weren't recognized as such and therefore wouldn't affect the graph. Finally the data set is very limited, we have no idea what the normal range of flu deaths is just by looking at seven years.
Nobody's suggesting carrying on as if absolutely nothing is happening.
