I just checked the event for the Xbox that every xbox fans were recently hyping up. Nobody is watching it.
I watched it. The show featured:
- Grounded, a "Honey I Shrunk the Kids, Again" game from Obsidian which seems to be targeted at children
- a rehash of information about XSX, nothing new
- Forza Streets, mobile shovelware
- Yakuza Kiwami coming to Xbox
- Journey to the Savage Planet... DLC, another cartoonish-looking game, something like No Man's Sky but more light-hearted, I guess
- Gears Tactics, which looked very nice, as long as you are into tactical games (I'm not)
- information about xCloud, a service which has limited regional availability, so nothing for me
- Hotline Miami coming to XGP. yes, seriously they made news about those old (though very good) indies
- the Last Campfire, an indie which they suggested was exclusive, turned out not to be
- Sea of Thieves DLC, I didn't even make it through the tutorial in that game, so I didn't pay much attention to it
- there was one more pixel-graphics indie with a name I didn't record, looked really bad, mobile quality
All that was edited with various Xbox people talking from their homes with terrible webcams and mics. I'm sure now you get a gist why Team Green does not want to talk about that presentation.
