Twitch streamer breaks down in tears after chat berates her Tifa cosplay as not 'sexy' enough

I mean, not to be rude, but why does she care?

Who gives a damn what a bunch of faceless clowns on the net say? This almost feels staged.

Women are much more sensitive than men. I've made a woman cry just by yelling at her (for banging on a bathroom door while I was inside).

So, she made a shitty not faithful cosplay and got criticized for it and then started crying after going apeshit at her chat for a few minutes.

Just don't cosplay as a literal sex icon, were people have certain expectations, if you have trouble with showing skin. Like wtf were you expecting, girl?

Yeah, so it was as I suspected. An argument about cosplaying. About a belly button and how scoffy her cosplay was (and that she shouldn't cosplay if she half-arse it), she going monkaToS, they saying it's not ToS, etc. That and also some people trolling, since she started getting angry. A big non-topic, as I mentioned in my previous post.

I thought it also could've been a raid, but doesn't seem like it going through the chat there. Just internal channel drama. A big nothing.

If it were a male getting criticized for being unattractive no one would give a shit.

Women know that turning on the waterworks gains them sympathy.

Anyone involved in drama based on something related to streaming gets no sympathy from me. Heck I hate all the streaming and influencers business as a whole and feel they are the worse things that have happened with the advancement of social media.

"I want attention but only the good kind where I get money for it". This is the same thing I hate about celebrity idiots.

This group of perverts on Twitch didn't happen by accident, it was supposed to be about streaming people playing video games. But men have been groomed to go on there and pay absurd amounts of money to women showing cleavage and asses under the guise of "video games".

I do feel sorry for this particular girl, but this is why Twitch should have taken a hard line on the type of content that gets streamed, not the shit it's known for today.

In short, Twitch sucks.

Girl could have been on her period. You can look at a woman on her period and she can start crying.

Onviously shes on twitch, she knows whats up. Flip side there are way more women out there that would love having this shit said to them all day.

Crying over a internet stranger that is 1 out of over 7 billion people on the planet? What a little bitch. I mean, how fucking weak do you have to be to cry over that? I'd ashamed of her if that was my daughter. People need to be made of sterner stuff.
This.
It's the same as getting mad over comments on internet forums or social media.

While funny it's actually true - people are shit on the internet, but that applies to both sides. She could've just turn the stream off, or at least the chat, no one is forcing her to keep reading the chat.

The problem with all those supposedly "hate speech victims", be it in Twitch, Instagram, Youtube and so on, is that instead of getting a real job they spam the web with their absolutely worthless and irrelevant BS on a daily basis, if not hourly, and expect nothing but praise and applause. I don't want to say they they get what they deserve, but that's the reality, if they are not mentally strong enough to cope with criticism and baseless hate they should never act as a public figures on the internet. But hey, you never know until you tried, but that's the whole point - they keep coming back over and over and over again to that hostile environment, when nobody is either asking or forcing them to do so. It's like if I'd go to s dark valley and some bad guys stick a baseball bat deep into my ass, and I'd keep coming back day after day after day, blaming them for doing so, instead of avoiding that place at all cost... All it took was literally just a single click to turn the stream off if it was too much for her, but she kept going on, she basically sell herself for money, so I really can't pity for her, or any similar past and future event. Get a life, get a job, problem = solved.

It's an odd one, you get all the complaining that all girls on twitch are titty streamers or twitch is flooded with them and then you straight up get shit like this adding to the problem.

Attack of the virgins, pretty fucked up. In ideal world, if you are virgin man, after like... I don't know 18 years old and you are virgin you should not have acces to the internet, I think that would solve a lot of issue, although it would be unrealistic obviously.

On a side note, should not you suppose to clean your room before you starts to stream?

But yeah I should have read more into this thread. My sarcastic part tells me that she fully expect this and cries for pitty $$$$$....

I feel bad for her, she looks nicer in that stream compared to her Insta pics.
But I guess image such as the one below made people think it was "ok" to act the way they did.

She is a thot that acts on a live camera for a living. I think she moved from Korea to the USA recently for her career even?

And now her antics have given her more traffic, and now she'll do it again in the future.... 🤡

Can we stop hating on anyone just because they have feelings? Goes for men and women alike.

Always complaining about SJWs fucking people up over a single mistake in someone's life, but somehow justifying people's dickish behavior for some reason and trying to make her the perpetrator.
Yeah she seems to be sensitive, so sensitive people aren't allowed to stream anymore? You don't think she might just.. recover and stream normally again? Since when is this one thing that we know about any individual enough to project this one trait onto their entire existence? Isn't that the same we complain about what SJWs do?

I'm happy to see a female streamer who doesn't sell her body to make money and yet most comments still somehow revolve around her being at fault for.... being a streamer in the first place, needing to grow thicker skin, her cosplay not being faithful and above all having feelings? You never had feelings or embarassing moments and you were born with perfect character so you never evolved as a person? 🤔

Who hurt you?

(^ all of this assuming her reaction is genuine)

Twitch is a complete hellhole of toxicity, especially for women.
People get all defensive when you say that because they never want to admit that women may have it worse in some ways and think that if you admit it then it makes you some '' Feminist cuck '' or whatever immature stupid bullshit they say.
But it's just objectively true.
Yeah, everyone takes shit on Twitch but men don't have to deal with your gender being such a tiny minority on the site on top of having a majority of the audience being prone to sexualize and creep on you publically without your consent.

Most women don't like unwanted attention like this, and they don't even have to wear skimpy clothes to be creeped on. There's a ton of female streamers who wear fucking turtle necks and still have people constantly creep on them, entire forums exists solely to do it even where people comb throw all of your videos to try and find even just short parts where you raise your arms or something because they think it's sexy.

I think that this is quite widespread tbh.
Like in League of Legends for example every time a new skin or female character is announced you get this big group of people who nitpick the character or skin into oblivion and will label the character or skin '' slutty '' and worse if she shows even just slight amounts of skin. Meanwhile dudes can have their shirts off in ice cold weather and no one even asks if they're cold or demands some kind of a justification for it.
People are just so incapable of not being creeps and not sexualizing womens bodies at all times it seems.
And just look at the way that people talk about the female characters in LoL for example that I am referring to, I think that it's indicative of real views they have. A normal sane and a person with a healthy sexuality doesn't label a woman a whore and a slut because she has a v-neck or wears a skirt, but that's basically the norm if you read discussions surrounding these characters or Twitch chat.

People often complain that '' sexualized characters '' demean and alienate women but I don't think that's true, I think that men who can't control themselves whether it be the Resetera crowd ( who also objectify and creep on women, just in another way. ) or your typical '' Gamer '' misogynist who gets an erection even by women in turtle necks.
And then the women get blamed for it.
What are they supposed to do? Not exist? She's basically wearing a perfectly normal top in this video even.
She's showing arms *gasp*, the audacity.

Sometimes I wonder if people doing this just never had any sisters and had super ultra puritan parents, because it's like these people have never seen a woman showing ankles or whatever the fuck before. And the worst part about it is that they're totally unapologetic about it and even proud at times. Like they're actually proud about their misogyny.

The last thing that I will say might shock and surprise some people.
But believe it or not, even cam girls have boundaries. Most cam girls have rules for what you can and can't say in chat and you will get banned if you break those rules and I think that a lot of people would be surprised by how strict the rules often can be. They actually do demand quite a bit of respect from their audience. They want to be in control, because they're the ones putting themselves out there and it's their stream.
Why should women on Twitch who aren't even cam girls have to put up with things that cam girls don't even put up with?

Nah, some ppl are just more sensitive and it depends alot on their up bringing, culture, not gender imo. Living in NYC most of these women personality wise and in terms of sensitivity are like men, if anything men are turning more pussy lol . A nyc woman would have told you "stop fucking banging on the door" instead of crying.

LOL, I live in NYC and the incident that I described took place in NYC. A lot of women here are tough on the outside but they crumble on the inside when you get aggressive with them, because - ultimately - they are still women.

I figured you might be from here and again I put it depends alot on "up bringing and culture" nothing can apply to everyone and there are always outliers. Most of the women I know would have told you "to stop fucking banging" lol just my experience. Again I'm around a whole bunch of tough puertorican and Dominican women 😂😂😂

You had your experience which I'm sure is true but I've had mine and seen that alot of these women nowadays want to be like dudes. Shit I seen women jump a man on the train due to disrespect and not cry and run away like "sensitive women" 😂😂😂

You've got the story wrong. I wasn't the one banging on the door; the woman was the one banging on the door while I was inside, and I yelled at her through the door and she stormed off crying. Furthermore, women act tough when they're in groups or when they're around men who can protect them. However, otherwise, they are afraid...because they are women. This goes for Puertorican and Dominican women as well.

Are you going to sit here and pretend like men don't either?
The people in this chat were being extremely overly-emotional, someone who is in control of their emotions doesn't sit around creeping on women or act like people do in Twitch chat.

People can excuse it all that they want and say that it's '' just a joke '', but have you ever tried questioning someones behaviour in a game before? Have you seen how insanely ultra triggered they get?
I think that men who can't stop talking about or creeping on women who show skin are very emotional, this includes people who constantly bitch about '' thots '' etc.
It doesn't even have to be that, men get loud and extremely aggressive all the time and people don't seem to look at it as '' getting emotional '' when it clearly is.

Being emotional isn't just about crying.
If you're being racist or sexist and someone calls you out and then you start throwing a gigantic tantrum about it then you're being emotional. Same if a woman wears a normal top and you can't stop obsessing about it and you judge her as a person because she doesn't dress like a nun.

Most people in general are cowards but act otherwise...

How is this thread on the GAF "gaming"? I think it's off-topic. Doesn't have to do with gaming at all. "some twitch person doesn't like what his/er chat says". The titbit about "tifa cosplay" doesn't make this gaming relevant enough.

The story doesnt change what I've experienced. You yelled at her that's cool, thanks for clarifying doesn't change my point. For example my sister would have told you "wtf are you yelling at stfu" 😂 😂 😂 😂

But hey well agree to disagree. I do not believe for one second because a person is a "woman" they will cower. I've literally seen one on one confrontations between both genders and the woman did not cower or run away.

I know alot of men that act overly sensitive and really lame when challenged, some I know that even cry. I agree and that was my point in saying it wasn't a gender thing.

Anyway yeah I definitely feel like I'm off topic so I'm off this thread.

Thanks everyone for sharing their thoughts.
