From what I can tell with that design, the smaller section is the top. Something looks really wonky about the placement of the logos, alignment is all over the place. Plus it shares nothing with the controller design.

Some elements of it are nice but it also looks too derivative of the PS2.

Was this posted?

I really hope that's not it, looks really dull.

How's the quality of PlayStation's Twitch streams compared to their YouTube streams?

I've been watching their YT streams on my LG C7 and they look abysmal with 1080p and a low bitrate. But the high bitrate 4K version they upload after looks exceptional. Would be nice to have a higher quality when watching live..

So the second image was thrown around for a while with Jim Ryan standing near it. I would doubt that would be real. Obviously someone who took that would have been blasted by Sony. As for the first image, it's concept designs. Plus the comments on the reddit post have debunked it.

I will say, Jeff Grubb did mentioned that the hardware could be revealed in a Wired Article as one of the possibilities and that we wouldn't get past June 3rd/4th without seeing the hardware. I think we will see it. In the least bit, in the form of a teaser to build up hype for the next event.

They probably already do. However they choose what information they want to give us. Alex is a very good example of a digital foundry employee that's selective with his information.

Considering Alex was alluding to software RT on PS5, my bet is these guys don't know shit. They have contacts at MS and the rest are just brochures they get from some developers when it comes time to do technical analysis.

Iv seen the 2 hrs of footage that spoiled everything. I will never spoil anything as thats a dick move but I don't think everyone is going to feel how you do.
OK man, it’s all good, I have seen every leak from the game, but it is not what you think the story will be, we have many reviewers are saying this stuff, even they’re using Troy Baker’s words (Joel’s voice actor): “you think you might know, but you don’t”.

So take that as you will.

Yeah, I wholeheartedly agree with this. Sony probably just feeds them info in the form of something like that Cerny interview for that kind of reveals and mainly because they know they're an important platform for a lot of people.

I have a question. All these devs telling numerous journalists that the ps5 is this amazing console, and yet Digital Foundry has heard no such thing.

the only thing they got from devs was that its cpu was being downclocked in order to run the gpu at 2.23 ghz.

you would think DF of all people would have devs feeding them these impressions.

I think DF has frequent contact with plenty of industry professionals who work with/for Microsoft. With Sony, not so much. Just a feeling.

Did they now remove the references to PS2 and PS3 on the Turkish retailer leaflet?

I don't speak the language, so I don't know if something else changed (I see they also fixed the name of the RAM).

Removed, nothing about backward compatibility.

Because it was fan fiction, and it got out to the press.

I’m so sorry but I don’t remember that at all. LOL!!

I can follow your Twitter account if you want, I have exposed a LOOOOT of fanboys ( Xbox fanboys most of them! my way on Twitter. 😂🤣😂

So I really forgot your profile.
It was a few years ago now, so I didn't expect you to. I've been IP banned there. So I don't have an account there anymore.
Maybe you remember when Crapgamer called me a 'Sushi eater'.... that was a pretty funny incident.
The arguments were pretty epic.

In one video Rich said that he was talking to Cerny prior to the GDC conference, like through the phone. So I guess they know something.

Nothing stops "world events" from happening if those bad things occur outside of the USA. I don't want to start on politics, just an observation.
Don't intend to minimize the riots on USA, that was a tragedy, but I agree with you. COVID-19 affected the whole world, but these events are localized. Sony's presentation is a worldwide event, and an online one, not even phisically happening on US soil. And someone reminded well about those shootings right before E3 2016, the show still happened.
