It's pretty big, but it'll do! It looks like the Tesla of video game consoles, while the Series X looks like a 1992 Ford Mustang of consoles. The PS5 is very polarizing, for sure.

I don't think it's that big.... it is tall but the collar is an element of that and I like the style it adds.
It's much thinner than the SX but a bit deeper.

My guess is the volume of both is quite close.

The vertical stand doesn't make sense to me. its too big for that to be useful. This has to be the biggest console I've seen. it dwarfs the first Xbox.

While you have to be the type of person that stuck with Xbox for 7 years while they provided nothing but crap games... to be simple enough to like the Series X design.

I don't have an Xbox and haven't owned a console since my PS3. Been a PC gamer since.

And I do like the XSX design. It's not only very functional and symmetrical, but it can do amazing things like stand on its own, either way, without needing a stupid looking little $2 plastic stand.

Entertainment centers used to be two towers and a bridge over the top.

The one I have for componets is very long with no shelf breaks horizontally. I can fit 4 PS5 horizontally on mine, and most of the ones I see for sale.

I can tell this is going to be overplayed like a couple things about the PS4 that wasnt an issue for most.

Just quoting myself. Yep its definitely gonna be played as its some horrible thing.

At least its not a rectangle and has a design element to it. If Im going to play the next GoW this would be the last thing to stop me.

Am I crazy or is there no way to tell the size from separate images? Is there mathematical way to derive the relative proportions fo the PS4 and the XSX in separate photos, so that you could present them "to scale"? Or is this thread about literally nothing?
