DrDisrespect permanently banned from Twitch [Now Streaming on YouTube]

FacelessSamurai

..but cry so much I wish I had some
They tried to permaban Kaceytron for making a joke about poor people contracting coronavirus and only after her people sucked up to twitch and she apologized they let her back in. They force streamers to be responsible for no-no words even when a random viewer says them. They ban for all kind of jokes constantly, especially sexual ones. They ban people without explanation. That line in the sand has been crossed years ago, for me at least, I assume you're a relatively new viewer because you can't imagine how much more fun twitch used to be.
Kaceytron is a trash streamer though, although I do like people making fun of her. I’ve actually been following since Justin.tv although I don’t follow that many people so unless it’s someone I know who’s been affected by this kind of shit (like Swifty recently) I don’t really pay attention to be honest. Unless it’s a nip slip or something similar lol

Another theory:

Basically Doc had an undisclosed deal with some company. That seems weird, though. I don't buy it based on the one clip.

I can't imagine that. He has a ton of sponsors and knows the rules about sponsorships. Why would he risk it all for one single secret sponsor check?

Why is "from what I can gather" form some person on Reddit making waves?

My dumb theory is way better heh

Yes, I think this one is a dead end.

Sure would help if Twitch released an actual statement with something more than TOS.

I think when you are as 'big' and popular as the Doc, and something like this happens with no clarity on why, tons of silly theories start on what could possibly of happened.
None of us will know for sure until something official is said. All i'll say is if it was rape or abuse related, i very much doubt he would still have his social media up.

if this was done today, no news will be appearing until monday next week.

i'm thinking it has to do with the 25 million dollar lawsuit that happened this past week.

What if Ninja, Shroud and Doc are starting their own streaming service and this is some free press.
I'd love it, but i doubt it. He truned down Mixers millions to stay on Twitch, the main reason (or so he says) is because of the Champions Club fan base he has built up and doesnt want to let down.
He has talked about possibly setting up a streaming channel in the past, and i suppose its possible Twitch found out about this, but after what he's said in the past about the fan base he has, i doubt it.

Well, at least he can go to Mixer. Oh.....

Permanent ban musta been pretty serious.
I'm sure the reason will leak in the following weeks.

Did he also get in trouble for streaming from a convention bathroom? So maybe this is strike 2 or 3.

Love Doc.

Wouldn't be surprised to see him sign with YT streaming considering all of his success there.

Doc is entertaining. He does pro wrestling promo schtick extremely well. It’s definitely a character and that’s what he’s selling.

It depends if this is actually reprehensible behavior or not. All we have so far is speculation.

You can’t tell me that with all that’s been happening there’s not some culture wide witch hunt going on as well. It’s in all industries these past two weeks almost. Some instance seem totally legit and others seemed designed to rile the Twitter mob. What’s fact or fiction matters and there’s a difference between cheaters, rejected men with poor attitudes, and actual rape for fucks sake.

Kaceytron is a twitch OG and a troll, not a single thing that comes out of her mouth is serious. Which shows how fucking dull and humorless these San Francisco nutjobs are, fuck them and everything they stand for, they've ruined the internet.

Not sure how true these are but his last bannings were for live streaming in front of a kid at a urinal in a public bathroom and from sending a mock apology video from a middle school lockerroom..... I'm hoping this last ban reason is far far far away from those.

one of the most annoying people on the internet. its such a stupid "character"

At least you understand it's a character, its basically breaking the forth wall of "pro gamer" culture

Rather that, than someone like ninja........oooft, no thanks

Shroud ok, seems genuine, but he's like a Canadian Mr Bean

Still if he has done something dark, I'll have no problem not watching anything he outputs, but until we know more, it's just another internet drama situation

Definitely a perma ban. Its just a matter of what for.

Still absolutely nothing but a generic PR statement from Twitch is weeeeird. The list of people that would love to break a story on Doc being a garbage human being is a long one. Yet not a peep from anyone...not even speculation from "sources".

Usually sexual assault allegations hit social media before a company knows about it. For Twitch to be way out in front of this it might be contractual related or something within the Twitch community he did so they'd be privy to it way before anyone else, but just a guess.

There's another wave of me too going on right now, but I feel it'd be public by now if that was the case?

The character to me isnt funny, but I find his gameplay and rages relatable, I generally always skip the YouTube intros and just go to gameplay

I never watch live or twitch ever

remember what kind of shenanigans Twitch did to Ninja's channel after he left for Mixer?
the way this is handled seems very hardcore and fast to say the least

what if this is a contract breach and he's leaving for youtube?

Remember? Hell I got a five-day ban on Ree for pointing out that they were running porn on his channel for "sexist trolling".
