Not like it's my favorite thread or anything, but at least it's mostly on topic now.

To nobody's surprise, when a semi-prominent member is banned, especially one that some people liked, for something as serious as pedo, there's going to be some discussion about it.

Nobody once excused what he posted; just offered possible reasons, knowing him, why he would even make a post like that, and even that was cast into more doubt as the convo went on.

Everyone respectfully talked, and came to the same conclusion in the end -- even if he did have some epic brain fart, what he said was not acceptable, and we can't open the gateway to those sort of people on Gaf.

That seems like a productive conversation to me. Moreso than the rabid, unprofessional yelling from users that goes on in here half the time, myself included.

Xbox is brute force, Xbox has no games and I forgot about the oft repeated Xbox bottle necks seem to be perfectly OK without anything to back those claims up and lots of proof to the contrary. But OMG don't even think about 9.2 tfs or mention the GitHub leaks because it's an insta ban.

To be fair, I will say other than the over sensitivity to 9tfs/GitHub I feel like moderation overall has been very fair and responsive the last several weeks and I also realize it's a thankless and probably super tedious job, especially with the election looming and the console warz heating up.

I appreciate everything all of you Mods and EviLore do to make GAF the by far my favorite spot on these interwebs. Thank you for all you do.

I think the issue is that some people are using the GitHub leak to confirm the PS5 as a 9TFs system. I know that Sony gave us 10.28 TFs that are variable. But you can't say that the system is 9TFs unless you have some sort of proof that it goes down that low.

I think that's what all the fuss about the 9TFs claims is about.

Maybe you should talk to EviLore about that if you feel like your not being treated fairly here. I've seen plenty of PlayStation fans get banned recently so they are definitely taking care of them.
