Also, she was a public facing person, and her and her husband were sharing a room with the two guys who are alleged to have assaulted Deb. They offered them alcohol (despite Deb being 18 and Sam 19, illegal for them both) and Deb agreed to have some as long as Sam stayed sober. Sam left for unknown reasons and there she was getting more inebriated (she drank far to quickly having never drank before, they really should have helped her regardless) and they took advantage of her drunk state to "get some" so to speak. Sam left before speaking to her (likely assuming everything was okay) and she was trapped. And when you're racked with trauma like that, it's hard to react or fight back afterwards. It happening again the second night is entirely possible unfortunately.

And what is this universe where drinking alcohol at 18/19 years old is some child predatory thing? I was going to parties in high school where no one was even 18 yet and we were getting blasted.
What this really sounds like is she was getting drunk for her first time and having fun with some guys, initiated some things with one specific guy to a further level than she intended, cheated on the husband, and then turned it into rape to get out of the cheating label years later when it became fashionable to cancel people with factless accusations.

..there will be many stories that are likely two inexperienced and socially undeveloped men and women hooking up in awkward ways because neither side knows what to do, how to read social cues or how to even give social cues or speak in that situation and that one side will regret or look poorly upon it once they both climb out of their shells.
The social awkwardness of nerd communities is prime for this because often two first time drivers so to speak. Actually, two first time drivers who aren't even comfortable sitting in the front seats to make a more apt phrase. Considering this is two streamers, one who says she was married at 19 and religiously indoctrinated(??), the socially clueless factor is probably at a high level.

You know what, the story she gives sounds like that of someone who cheated but instead of just saying she did, she claimed it was rape. But she already said she cheated, so why change it up all of a sudden?

What's weird to me is that there have been quite a bit of stories that have come out sounding like they were consensual at the time, but then somehow evolved into something that was rape or sexual harassment. That's not okay. That's more of a mistake made on both parts, and no person should be falsely accused or labeled.
This whole story is really strange and honestly pretty complicated. Her staying in a room with nothing but dudes, getting drunk for the first time, all while her husband isn't present. I don't even understand how he'd feel comfortable with that whatsoever. I also thought it was bizarre that she apparently got SO drunk but seems to remember things pretty damn vividly. That's actually very impressive for a person that drinks that first time, and get's THAT drunk. Not only that, but then going right back? It's really bizarre. He literally told her she is brave for calling him a rapist.
Her explanation of the situation is all over the place.
It happened six years ago, and she starts out by saying "I am not alone, an object or silent", and mentions how she is in therapy, attempted suicide 2 times, got PTSD, and sleeps with the lights on to avoid flashbacks. You would think she was in the Holocaust. She kissed and cuddled with waffle and the guys for days, it wasn't some one-time thing, and she ended up sleeping with one of them later on. She's obviously so hurt by this event that she is trying to figure out a way where it makes sense in her head, where she can live with the cheating. She comes up with reasons for the behavior, she was too drunk to remember, was taken advantage of and silenced, when what really happened is she stayed with these guys and fucked one of them while she was married, and she can't live with the shame and takes it out on waffle. Hopefully, she gets over it, but this is not the way to handle such a thing.

Apparently, Sam or whoever hated drinking and was shy and left, she stayed there and cuddled and kissed several guys (and apparently got fingered). In all seriousness though, the pandering by people who are put on social trial for rape accusations is quite a sad thing. Whatever happened to a simple "no, I didn't do it"? Instead, a simple denial has to be coated with all kinds of acknowledgements of bravery and whatever. That bugs me with the BLM thing too, where people who criticize riots and vandalism have to preface the criticism by "we all agree that what happened to George Floyd was terrible" instead of just saying that "no, burning down buildings is wrong no matter what" and leaving it at that.

The guy she slept with described everything and she acknowledges this is a true account. The incident with waffle sounds like it happened perhaps during the first day, I have no idea.
"Everything happened between us and the couple other guys I was rooming with. It began one night when Tolki, the couple other guys and I decided to drink. This was pretty shocking, and we didn't really know what to do. As far as I know, he didn't know that anything went down the previous night, but he might have found out. In any matter, we discussed the ordeal throughout the day and thought about how Tolki would get home and what she would do after that. For the next few days we all just hung out as normal and got drunk a couple more times, similar to the first night I described.
Now, I know there's a lot of talk about her and I having sex. And I will confirm that this is true. During the last couple of days of SGDQ, Tolki and I started to talk a lot more personally and become closer with each other. One night we wound up alone in the hotel room, and it happened. This is hands-down the worst thing that happened. It was wrong on both of our parts. We both consented to it being 100% aware that she was married. We both betrayed Sam on a whole different level. I don't know what came over us, but it happened, and we are both sorry beyond belief for it."
