Yeah it's fake of course, Cory seems to be in the mood of trolling. But i mean he made the GOTG so we can forgive him lol

Lot of rumors already talking about August, it make sens, September seems a bit far and i would guess Sony would want to keep the PS5 momentum hype.

On the other hand he could be teasing something. I'm not saying it's going to the the 6th but he could be giving us a hint.

Or maybe he's just screwing with us.

I think they cut GoW out of their last presentation for sure, I seen a few tweets saying it was his big day and fuck all happened lol. Fingers crossed for early August.

Have you heard anything about whether the upcoming event will be focused around more announcements, or deep dives into stuff from June?

I think this is coming quite soon what Mr Moose Mr Moose says:

Yeah. I think, by and large, the reaction to Microsoft's showcase was negative to very lukewarm at best.

I look for Sony to capitalize pretty quickly on this. They've been quiet in the past and let Microsoft fire all kinds of shots, but it seems they all missed so far.

Maybe it's time to draw themselves if they feel Microsoft's second show won't light the barn on fire either.

Makes sense. Its been over 2 years since gow launched and they didn't waste their time on dlc.

For reference, they were able to release gow2 in two years. In two years, they should've had at least a trailer ready. Maybe they wanted to have some gameplay.

I always felt like the ps5 conference was missing a Mic drop moment. I wonder if this was it.

That's interesting and I hope that's true. I wonder if he was just trying to throw everyone off the scent with his tweet today.

Though if I remember correctly there's been some buzz that SSM had two projects in development and Cory could be leading the new one. Maybe Cory's denial today was a cheeky reference to the fact that he will be revealing a game, just not God of War. I hope that it actually is GoW though.

Sony isn't going to interrupt Microsoft from embarrassing itself. Sony has their own plan and they are sticking to it, as the industry leader they should not be changing marketing on the fly as if what MS say or did actually mattered to them.

I think the right move for Sony is to just do like MS and start to announce any projects that are being worked on. Worst case scenario is that you announce a game that will be canceled but that is a small price to pay.

On top of that give us dates for 2020 and first half of 2021 games as well showing any big third party games they can find.

It wasn't exactly bad, it just wasn't what people wanted, they needed to show things on their Series X hardware that's going to be released in 3-4 months and they failed to do that (and Halo wasn't looking hot).
There's a lot to be hyped about if you liked the previous versions of the games* shown.
I don't mind them showing games a few years away from release, but there just wasn't gameplay for them.

What the fuck happened to Killer Instinct?

Everything about Sony and ps5 this and next gen has been about efficiency and truly customizable things and having great Apis. Remember this is the Sony tht created a seperate chip in ps4 just for background downloads and some social streaming features. Their apis were also as good or better than the renowned dx12. The things we've heard with ps5 which will take off work from cpu/gpu will make a real world difference and when it comes to those things Sony and Cerny and their engineers are second to no one.
Sony's biggest asset right now is having Mark Cerny on their team, if MS wants to make a positive impact on gaming they should make Cerny switch teams. But who knows if MS get Cerny they might end up corrupting him as well.

Let's see what they show on August, they still can redeem themselves a little. But at least on the first party department, I doubt they have something ready to show. I mean, judging by Undead Labs work, who released SoD2 in 2018 and they only were able to show a CGI trailer, I doubt Compulsion Games, The Initiative or The Coalition have something in-game ready to show on the next event. If they show another CGI trailer from a first party project... oh, man

But just a couple of weeks ago:

-The graphics difference will be clear believe me
-Release in Xbox one doesn't hold back anything
-The event of xbox will be amazing
-The important here is the TF not that SSD
-Xbox will have multiple studios/teams for halo so the version of XSX will be gorgeous

Also the smartphone games search the engagement so is not necessary something good to swank or at least something
I define as search to make the best game you can.

The worst thing you can do is try to justified this is saying is clearly the games of PS4 will looks better than you games of
XSX because are different type of games... is a machine with hardware of 2013 vs something high end of 2020.

We are not saying why an indie game or an AA game looks worst, Halo is a AAA game, the game which should be the first showcase
of your new console because according to them the old gen doesn't hold back anything and was created thinking in the new hardware.

Jezz is just
giphy.gif
He was right the graphics difference is clear. He just got the consoles mixed up. Microsoft’s biggest franchise in near finished form vs pre-alpha HZD2...no contest.

Games, even 3rd party, running on the actual console would be nice. They fucked up their last show so bad, literally learned nothing from their last showing before even though they said they did. Starting to think their gaming division is run by idiots .

IMO, Light adjusted Halo Infinite proves Alex from Df is right. This game needs better lighting and more optimization. Also, heads up it's a Coltestwood vid as I know some here have strong opinions against him. he says it took him only a few mins to adjust the light some imagine what 343 can do with source code.

Lighting really helps with the current gen graphics and pop-in.

(Colt is a stupid fanboy and I won't be clicking that even with an adblocker lol).

See the title...

The image was taken by myself.

I'm not saying the game doesn't need better textures or a revamp art style. What I'm saying is Alex from DF talked about the game needed better lighting and Colt proved he was right.

Also, IMO I think it's true to the Halo universe art style as they where hairless brutes. As a Halo fan, I will be playing this game as I think it will be pushed back and improved within the XSX launch window.

This is not at all what Alex is talking about, you're confusing lighting with color grading.
You dont fix a game's lighting by slapping black level filter on a video. No amount of crushed blacks will hide bad lighting.
