I would hope and assume and guess not at all. They put out good games packed with content. That doesn't square with "lazy people".
More importantly, since you seem to know, how would you know?
You're not talking about the downgrade, are you?
Present evidence they've since lied in other areas and also prove intention to deceive, you know, the definition of lying.
Present evidence that was their intention and that they were deliberately trying to deceive.
Present evidence of that.
Who is blaming CDPR employees for what?
The first page full of people defending crunch...yikes.
Not acceptable. No human should have to work more than 35 hours a week
Fucking fairies complaining about working 6 days.
The real issue here is that CDPR made a big deal of saying they wouldn’t force their employees to crunch.
They said this because it made them look cool... it was something they thought their fans would love them for - but now they’ve reneged.
And you want to blame the employees? Huh???
—————
Also, fairies? Fairies work at CDPR?
Explain.
If they are fairly compensated via overtime and aren't literally "forced" or forced by coercion as in they may lose their job if they won't do overtime than I'm cool if they are.
I kinda get the feeling forum warriors have more problems with crunch than the people acutally doing it.

Well, I won't go as far to say that everyone is ok with this but I find it hard to believe that most people aren't to some degree. This has been known to be a common practice in the industry so everyone going into it must be aware. Also, folks making games have been doing these hours since forever. Just read Masters of Doom. You'd be wrong.

Truth. If they are fairly compensated via overtime and aren't literally "forced" or forced by coercion as in they may lose their job if they won't do overtime than I'm cool if they are. I've had jobs where the boss would surprise us with O.T. and while it was a fuck-ton of money, I love the time I spend with my wife and kid and wouldn't trade it for anything and I'd tell the boss all the time to kick rocks. I always said "if you give me the respect of asking me well ahead of time to do some O.T. on a project, than I'll give you the respect of seriously considering it and making concessions at home to make it work." But I'm no slave and won't just bend to the heel of anyone above me if I'm not doing anything wrong. Your lack of planning does not constitute an emergency on my part.
Well they're not forced. They all can quit their job.Not acceptable. No human should have to work more than 35 hours a week
Well what do you expect? working 6 days a week is normal for many more people than obviously you expect, we have no word on what hours these 6 days include? could be 8hr shifts, could be 15hr shifts.... all in all they know what the buisness is about, crunch has always and will always be there, its part of many jobs, people normally dont bitch and moan about it ya know because nowadays you are lucky if you even have a job and hey! you are also being paid! The first page full of people defending crunch...yikes.

Yes, but we are talking here about people voluntarily going into pretty high paying jobs that are well known for crunch periods - especially by the people going into this job. I mean, hell, I would never even think about going into game development and know about this. Want to tell me people who acutally want to make games don't know about it? No one is forced to work as a game dev in a big company. It's obviously up to the individual, but I doubt everyone went "This is great!" internally. "Mandatory" is nice way of saying "forced". What they voiced was another matter.
And "this is common practice" isn't a defense or an excuse. Lead based paint in homes was common practice at some point. So was child labor, forced marriages and mullets.

Look, I dunno shit. I just find it hard to believe that people who go into artistic fields like game or movie making are expecting normal working times like your normal office clerk. Can't wrap my head around this, sorry. I tried.
