Guys, I have a LG C8, it can’t Output 120fps @4K but it can do 120fps @1080p. Did anyone with a similar setup test out if 120fps games on PS5 just run at 1080p if the 120fps mode is selected, or does it not work at all?

i bought AC on series X and screen tearing is bad, it doesn't ruin it enough to stop since 60fps is great but still... very disappointing

choosing series x was easy since we dont get PS5 till 19th but from PS5 launch i for sure will think of getting more games on PS5 if the comparisons continue in this trajectry

I just hope multiplats on the ps5 won't be held back by the new xbox.

It's a joke, breath Xbox chaps.

That's just unacceptable. Hopefully Ubisoft fixes this.

My opinion on Dirt 5 hasn't changed but I do find it interesting that he says there's issues with PlayStation developer kits. Based on what Digital Foundry and others have said I'm surprised that the developer is saying this.

longdi longdi you need to take a look at this because this developer claims that Sonys dev tools are also "hot". They might be better than Xboxs at the moment but they will improve.

Another that was fooled by “world most powerful console” lol
It is his fault to choose the wrong version.

thank you sir for this post...

we are really need this kind of information from developers who works with the console directly..

and I feel that ps5 variable but higher clocks and smart shift will be very great feature in ps5 arsenal contradicting with every negative opinion about it prior to console launch

In this thread the reason why people say that variable clocks and smart shift are bad is basically two reasons.
  1. Variable clocks make the system weaker because the clocks can go below the max clocks.
  2. Variable variable clocks make development more difficult because the clocks are unpredictable.
The truth is that both of these statements are false and having variable clocks combined with SmartShift is actually beneficial to the system. The PS5 would be worse without them.

I thought this was a really genuine reaction on his part. I guess multiplats play better on the PS5 but not for the reasons we were thinking.

I'm getting a PS5 but I already have a DualSense because I needed a new controller for my PC.

It's a shame that there's no way for me to experience the triggers on my PC. It works great with it though and I'm planning on going through a playthrough of Vanquish to see how good the controller is.
