And who is that person and why does his tweet deserves a thread?
he is the guy who made an unofficial bloodborne patch to make it run at 60 fps on the pro.

he was also invited to bluepoint games recently and got an early hands on with Demon Souls.

he had also said that if Sony doesnt release a 60 fps patch for bloodborne by launch, he would release his BB patch publically. he hasnt yet done that.

But you can't play the patch on PS5... can you?

Who are you?:
Hey, all! I'm Lance McDonald. You probably know me from YouTube or Twitter, where I post stuff about hacking video games and trying to find cool stuff you probably haven't seen before in some of your favourite games. I've made a number of pretty cool discoveries across Bloodborne, Dark Souls 3, and Sekiro, which have helped bring new content to fans of these games that would otherwise have gone unseen.

Dropping a Bloodborne remake right after your Demon’s Souls remake hits as a critical success would be the biggest dick swing in gaming history.

...but is it even feasible? Could they have had the man hours and time to do both? Common sense says probably not, but then again...

Bloodborne remaster?
Might make the most sense. They're not the biggest studio, so a Bloodborne remaster could utilize some of the tech they're using for the Demon's Souls remake (including all the tools and asset pipelines).

For those that can't see the tweet:

So calm this spooky night. A symphony of rumors - not one, but two - return from shadow. A resistance to dart home as black monsters escape twisted hills to wander lands and syphon souls. Filter your candy collections, soft from solid, and be eco-friendly. Have a metal Halloween.

"A symphony of rumors - not one, but two - return from shadow."

So, they were working on two remakes simultanously.

Lmao at that tweet, one could point out any word and it will be a reference to a psx/ps2 game for sure. :messenger_grinning_sweat:

It’s probably doable. Certainly must be easier to upscale PS4 assets to the quality of DeS remake than it was to do the same for the PS3. But the man hours it would take...

...or it’s Symphony Of The Night. One of the two.

"Not one but two"

Bloodborne = only one game and still very recent on PS4 and graphics still hold quite well today

Legend of Dragoon. 1 game too.

ICO And Shadow of Collosus : Already done before

Dark Souls 1-3. 3 game

Metal Gear Solid - has more than 2 game (4-5) that need to remade

Uncharted 1-4 = 4 game..doesnt fit the description

God of War. 3 game doesnt fit description.

Resistance. Quite posible. Resistance 1- 2 . 3 graphics is still aceptable

My bet is Infamous 1-2. Inf SS is still recent so no need for remade.

Could be wrong but who knows

I still maintain what I thought at the time, that this other rumored project is Konami-related.

All of the references in that tweet were to either Sony games or Konami games. So I think it's something MGS, SH or Castlevania.

Seems weird if it is Bloodborne though since its included with the PS+ Collection on PS5.

That’s the main sticking point with it being BB. Why release a vastly inferior version for free?

...mind you, you can still get OG Demon’s Souls, so...

It's not possible. Like the ONLY way it's possible is if Sony had already bought them and hired like an additional 70 people or something in secret.

Symphony of the Night would be ballers, man. I mean, there's also the rumor of a possible Metal Gear Solid remake going around... But both would require the "OK" from Konami and who knows what the management of Konami are thinking at this point.

Makes sense. Everything they made for DeS would be perfect template for doing a SotN or other Castlevania remakes.
