Very disappointing to see them cars still disappear like it's a 1990's video game... oh well
Well not sure when GTA 3 went out, probably in thosands, I was in basic school back then. Well at 6th year of that I believe.

Behold the improvements:

Also I can't find the driving toggle for different handling model....

Now I realised that the camera controls with gamepad, is like from X360/PS3 era. Very not nice to look at it as a video. But as for playing, meh it's pretty good.

To the credit of CDPR, game runs much more stable in city, I would say it's dropping to 50ties not to 30ties.

Literally the worst AAA game of the current decade. No need to wait until 2030. :lollipop_tears_of_joy:

What do you mean Bo?, did you forget all the 'Welcome to the Next Generation of Open World games' fud? lol.
The game is just so dated, basic, and not very good. bugs or not.

33GB patch when my connection is fucked and I'm downloading super slowly!

Any noticeable improvements in performance from 1.1 to 1.2?

It was broken on PC. Just because YOU didnt get a game breaking bug (and 'game breaking' is subjective for different people), it doesnt mean the game wasnt in a terrible state, because it was.
I have never seen this amount of fixes in a single patch for any game ever. Even fallout 76's infamous bug list at launch didnt come close.

game breaking is not subjective at all. if the game breaks its game breaking.
and it's not ME. it's me and everyone that i personally know that played cyberpunk. none of them thinks the game is "broken" on pc

I'm saying that while I'm so burned inside. The Witcher 3 is one of my best games of all times, expected at least a clean release, but as well kinda guessed it won't surpass The Witcher 3 greatness. They're banking so much on sexualization instead to cover their asses. I believe the story would've be great if the build was at least "acceptable". It's not like The Witcher 3 didn't have insane amount of bugs, but it was at least in the acceptable range.

Well you, and them,. need higher standards then.

i disagree. my standards are high. and them... well they are casual gamers. you know the ones that actually drive the market. not hardcore forum whiners. you might be surprised at how much you can enjoy a game if you are not reading or watching people talking shit about it every 2 minutes.

Hey i agree 100%. Ubisofts games last gen made up most of my fave games from last gen, and Ubisoft games get ripped apart from almost everyone.
I'm no whiner, i wanted Cyberpunk to be amazing, it just isnt though.

You know it's "uncool" to like Odyssey and Valhalla. With their "normal" flaws, they get overly butchered around here. It's mindblowing that in a year "or originally 3 years" Ubisoft is like 10 years ahead of CDPR in terms of quality control with CP2077 that is been announced since 2 gens ago.

I walk outside my building. The NPC spawn-in seems way more aggressive than before [ie there's no one and suddenly a BUNCH of NPCs spawn behind you and walk past you. It's bizarre]. I still can't sit or buy anything at the stalls in/around your building.

Down the street there's a shootout between cops and Tyger Claws. First thing I see is the infamous T-pose:

I want to hack one of them, notice the bug in the description text box:

I gun down two of them, AI bugs out, enemies don't react to getting shot, or the gunfire. Killing Tyger Claws somehow gets me a warrant. Now my ally cops are having a shootout with the out of nowhere spawning cops. Notice the radar in the screenshot below. Also the new police drone makes it even more obnoxious and it spawned in like 5 seconds.

Also - GPS still doesn't zoom out when you drive.

I'm fucking done.

Already thrown 162 hours and finished everything. I can't stomach replying games anymore after beating them, so waiting for their next DLC after I bought the season pass.

Enjoy!

eh, i'll take interesting & broken over polished flat streamlined games any day.
A game like EYE Divine Cybermancy or even No Mans Sky will always be better in my book than a assassins creed that plays almost exactly like 10 other games in the market with another story that seems to blend into a mush.

Naturally being both polished and interesting would be better. But polished and uninspired? Might as well be a shiny doorknob. Not that Ubisoft games are exactly all that polished.

Except you’re talking out of your ass since Valhalla was extremely broken at release and is still full of bugs.

Ubisoft got away scot free thanks to CDPR.

Can't say you're wrong because I don't know what platform you played it on but most likely PC. On PS5 it had some bugs, which most of them disappeared to me and are minor. Only had one big broken side mission after the Yule update then patched later and it's fixed. For how massive the game is, the bugs ratio is extremely low.

GTA 3 released in 2001, however Driver(what a great game back in the day) released in 1999, and it didn't have any disappearing cars in the game

it didn't have dissapearing cars? you can see only 50 meters ahead of you. THE ENTIRE WORLD IS MISSING. this takes are getting funnier and funnier. look at that draw distance :messenger_tears_of_joy:

of course cars don't dissapear. you don't even have cars they appear right in front of you

Not really comparable imho.

With Assassin's Creed Ubisoft has made the same game every year for I don't know how long with little to no innovation except for the slight revamp in 2017 with Origins. Each time iterating little by little on the same open world systems, that they share with nearly all their other single player games.

Whereas for Cyberpunk CDPR has had to start from scratch with little to no experience on SO many things (to name a few : big urban & vertical environnement, traffic system, wanted system, driving gameplay and physics, first person gameplay & game design, immersive sim like level design, stealth system, seamless cinematic storytelling - all of those & many more were a first for the studio). Never a Ubisoft studio has tried to make such a leap between two projects, & tbh I don't know many studios that did. That alone makes CP2077 very impressive despite everything else.

It does not forgive in any way the subpar state of the game at launch & maybe it was too ambitious to take such a big step only one game to the next (& after all we as consumers are not really supposed to take that into consideration when we are making the purchase) but it makes it difficult to compare. And still Valhalla released with its fair share of bugs & broken pieces.

Sigh... really?! You want to have this conversation. The cars don't disappear once you get CLOSER to them, that's the whole point. Whereas in CP they do. The cars appear in front of you because the textures are loading as you drive, due to the hardware limitation of course. In Cyberpunk, the whole traffic disappears the closer you get to them.... CDPR have created a mirage. There is a difference buddy. Also the cars handle much better in Driver, and they actually have proper suspension

I think it was ACG who said that CP2077 had more crashes/bugs than Assassin’s Creed Unity. Gee, what a mess.

That aside, I didn’t really enjoy the game as much as I’d like. But I’m probably minority on this here. It could’ve been so much better, IMO...

Lol I feel like some of you just need to replay old GTA games and get it out of your system.

Seriously what is why everybody wanting this game to be just like every GTA game. Did yall do this with Witcher 3 as well?
No one wants it to be like GTA, we only want what was promised: "The next generation of open world games"

I went straight to the Graphics section. I'm tempted to reinstall this now for a second playthrough. CD Projekt Red seems to be on a mission. Good thing they didn't qualify for last years GOTY award, with all these fixes they may have a shot, though I don't know if it counts since it took patches to fully realize the game's potential. Either way, I'mma check it out. Maybe playthrough as a net runner this time from the badlands.
