Been able to add to wishlist for a while. Just sayin.

Nice features though.

I bought it for $20 a couple months ago to play on PS5 and stopped playing once I heard it was announced on PC. Keyboard and mouse controls will be a lot better, atleast for shooting.

I did not play it, but wasn’t the game massively overhauled compared to launch? Does it still have important flaws? I recall reading peoples returning to it and finding it excellent.

Hopefully it's properly optimized and priced. I won't buy the game right away after the HZD fiasco.

And if it has the same shader cache system as HZD it's a no go. I can't believe how Guerilla went with that crap. The first system they used was not ideal but it was better.

Technically it is largely stable (few bugs here and there, like any other game of its ilk). Its most glaring issue is it still features mission design from the mid-2000s and the non-horde gameplay becomes stale not long into the game.

It is a hit-and-miss experience, IMO. For all of its less than impressive creative stylings, there are a number of redeeming technical accomplishments (the dynamic weather system, for example, is one of the best I've seen in a game of this scale).

Definitely picking this up, I've been meaning to try it for quite a while. I love that the port seems to have quite a bit of effort put into it.

Missing the most important bullet point - Improved Gameplay
Bingo lol.

One of the few PS4 exclusives I didn't finish after playing it cause it was pretty boring/average of a game. I think it has beautiful graphics when it wants and if the mod community does some good work on it i'll go for it on PC.

The 60FPS update on PS5 is pretty good looking...but the games kinda ehh

Yep. It’s one of my least favorite open world games.

PC gamers this gen

Getting best of both worlds. Nintendo being stubborn but that's business as usual.

Wasn't that long ago PC was an afterthought by Sony and Microsoft alike. Heck, PC only started really getting ports from some 360/PS3 era games a few years into the PS4/X1 generation. Now Xbox games are coming to Steam day one most third party publishers have a massive presence on PC and yeah, the biggest surprise of all has been Sony jumping into to get a piece of that PC gaming pie.

Great time to be a PC gamer.

i remember back in 360/ps3 days most titles were console exclusives. I got xbox360 because of that since i want to play gears series. PC was treated like 3rd grade place by publishers back then.

It's because the consoles are x86 now.

It's UE4, it will be decent at least.

Great to see that Sony allow their developers to bring their great console exclusives to pc.

These seem to be coming around the same time as they're being put on the playstation plus service.

That's a big part of it, but there were also quite a bit of games that were ported over from PS3 and 360 as well. Sega particularly made an effort to bring games like Vanguish, Catherine, etc. from its library forward to PC that were only on consoles prior. A slew of older JRPGs like Tales of Cold Steel, Ni No Kuni, and even Final Fantasy XIII that were console only came out on PC last gen. And we are even seeing games from PS2 like Persona 4 get ported to PC. Kind of crazy to think but if you want to play Persona 4 on console then you've got to find a Vita or a PS2. These days PC is getting more love from the back library of consoles than consoles are.

Surprised there is no actual PSN connectivity on their PC releases. No cross save, no cross buy, no trophies. This isn't really Sony expanding their platform on to PC if the game gets released with no PS platform attached to it.

I dunno about massively, however they did not stop supporting the game after launch. Personally, I played it at launch and while I never finished it, I enjoyed the heck out of what I played. Duck walking your bike back to a safezone because you've run out of gas is one of the highlights of the game for me. That and being chased down by a zombie swarm.

Awesome news....my 2019 game of the year gets even better with the PC port. Two down. A few more to go starting with God of War this Fall and within a few years, day and date with the releases on PS5. Let's go baby!!!

More money for Sony equals more money and investment into more games for us. This will be the best generation of all time.

Whoa it also has a release date! Has that always been known that it was coming out end of April?

Just to prove Sony's strategy isn't to convince PC gamers to come to PS by teasing them with old games, Days Gone is a 70 metacritic game. Not exactly a AAA 90 scoring kind of game.

Someone above even said there's no PS ecosystem link if you play on PC.

Bought it at launch on PS4 Pro and got the platinum and will buy it at launch on PC to be able to experience the much upgraded version and do it all over again, loved the game.

I cry about SonyGaf from my chair in Redmond, WA
Spends 3k on hardware just to play games 5-10 years after everybody else, thinks he's winning. :messenger_grimmacing_:pie_beaming_smiling:

Fuck it, I'll bite.
Imagine thinking people spend 3k on hardware to wait for PlayStation games, because there aren't other games in the world.
Id say its a win I can buy games for 399 usd instead of having to buy a console only to play a handful of games.

If you say these games suck in five to ten years, then they aren't really worth a penny now if they don't age like fine vine.

Besides, who tf pays 3k for a machine?

Unless you have the answer to my question, don't reply to me. Don't want to lose my account because of you ty.
