I would like a game where we get to kill freak commies as well.

Not that there is a problem in killing Nazis, but it would be more subversive to kill commies these days, or maybe a game where after finishing off one identitarian authoritarian dictatorship you keep going east to the other identitarian dictatorship (as some advocated for back in the days).

Just like Kratos travels from one mythology to another killing everyone, I like it. xD

There's so much potential; even a dystopian Italy where Mussolini wasn't executed would make for a killer setting. And then you go the the USSR in 2025 and kill all of Stalin's clones.

Announced Dec. 2019 and still no gameplay. Sure the Deep Down comparison is extreme but come on. Something is up with this game. I love Hell Blade 1, it's fantastic, and I can't wait for the sequel. But I'm legit concerned about this games development if it's not shown at this event.

I would take a deep breath man. I am sure the development is fine but just slowed down a bit due to obvious reasons.

Its a game that got announced super early "Hellblade 2" because they had to announce something big and exciting along side the Series X reveal at the game awards.

Prototyping, hiring staff, growing their tools and pipelines, etc? Games at that scope take a long time to make especially brand new studios.

Preparing something for E3 has to be fine tuned and polished. It takes months away from ACTUAL production work because the vertical slice, demo, whatever, is often a WIP that will change quite a bit when it comes to actual shipping. This mattered more when demos were made for E3 instead of just trailers now, though. If they decide to make something for E3 that's great, but it's likely they've only been out of pre production for maybe over a year. Factor in covid and you don't have a lot to work with.

Star field, Forza and Halo I couldn't give two shits about. The rest of it intrigues me , Kojima and IO doing exclusives seem too good to be true. The unknown quantities here seem way more interesting than the same old IP but I'm assuming those are the ones that will get the longer footage

Fallout New Vegas was pretty bad, but mainly because they had to work with Bethesda's terrible engine

Sounds good. Starfield is one of the games I am genuinely most excited about

Super excited for the Xbox E3 stuff since they have been quiet for so long now and I feel like we have finally reached the stage where we can judge Phil Spencer based on what he did for the last 7(?) years.
Overall I think Phil handled things pretty well for Xbox and the only thing that remains to bring to life are impressive god tier quality games, but those took a long time and late 2021 and all of 2022 could potentially be a turning point for Xbox where those games finally release and do the talking.

I don't get the hype with Wolfenstein.
everyone was exited about that first Wolfenstein that released on ps4/xbox and (I think) every game after that sold less or people didn't care.

Assuming this is true, this would make it the best MS E3 in years, probably ever.

Im assuming here that we are getting extensive and comprehensive gameplay videos of the games already previously announced in that list(Starfield, Awoven) and that the reveal of the new games are interesting.

And Im also assuming that we will end up feeling less confused about the game Kojima is making compared to what we know now(nothing).Because I felt that I knew less about Death Stranding before we even knew that it existed, after watching its debut trailer. I do think that Kojima will play safer with this project given that Death Stranding wasnt received(or sold) as well as he wanted, and that his brand was a bit damaged because of that game. Here hoping that the game is promissing.

But yeah, Im a bit excited about MS games in tjis E3.The last time I was like that was the year before the X One launch, that seemed that MS was finally cathering more to my tastes.Until reality came crashing in, of course.

Really hope that this leak is correct or it isn't far from the truth.

Yeah!I love killing nazis, but I would also to love killing commies. The Soviet Dictatorship was as bad as Nazist, so I always wondered why no one did a game like wolfenstein that was about killing them and freeing the world from their influence.

I mean, I know why, but it still makes me sad that there isnt such a game.

Well yeah, it was buggy. But the story arch, sidequests and consequences were all amazing and very different from Fallout 3. That engine is a bit shit, but it also allows for such a vast array of interaction.

Not really. Death Stranding, while interesting, has somehow divided gamers. I like the guy's vision, but he is way too overrated imo. His best days are behind him. As to his game with MS, I expect it to be that project that was rumoured to be on Stadia, with hints that it was supposed to be episodic. Imo, of course!

Whatever they show (Halo, Forza Horizon 5, that Vampire game from Arkane, Starfield, the Compulsion title...) needs to impress. That is all I am expecting and hoping for.
