The hyperbole in this thread is beyond embarrassing, them delaying it is a good thing, they can't fuck up the next gen release so take your time and release when it's done.
I'm busting to play it but being an adult means I can fucking wait without wailing like some fucking moron over a bloody game. At this stage I'm more interested in the next gen port of Witcher3, I've been holding off on playing blood and wine for this and it's genuinely bugging me as I'm itching to get back into that world

Releasing a fucking road map for bug fixes and DLC content for this game was a HUGE fucking mistake as it put a potential bullseye target on their asses AGAIN when they already struggled to deliver the game on time on numerous occasions.
This developers reputation is now surely in tatters. There's no recovering from this.

The first Roadmap of Dispair they PR'ed early this year was next gen patch Q3 2021. Then someone here said it was changed to Q4 2021 based on new news by CD lately.
Now maybe 2022? LOL.
By the time it comes out, it'll be over a year the game launched.
They also said there would be free DLC this year. Did they at least that yet?

Its been dead since 2077 launched. Their stock price immediately swan dived at launch is currently down about 60% from their high last year.

A roadmap is what they should have avoided at all costs.
You're reputation is already shot and with a roadmap for fixes you're putting the developers under even more pressure to deliver when what they needed is less pressure and afforded plenty of time to fix the fucking game.
Also they're focused on another project alongside fixing this game so less resources too.

Many people have been waiting nearly an year now to play a version of the game that isn't full of bugs and takes full advantage of their next-gen consoles. Anyone who has paid for the game (full price or discounted) is fully entitled to complain if the studio that launched a broken mess hasn't gotten their shit together after 12 months.

I've never played the game, but I got so many hours of entertainment from the meltdowns and drama. It was beyond words. Glorious!

Well thankfully I had no good hardware when this launched so at this point I don't really care anymore. If a year from now they release a decent console version I guess that's cool and I'll gladly drop the $5 that the Ps4 version (which gives access to the free upgrade) will cost by then.
Sort of makes me wonder what their business model is for the "next gen" version. They promised free upgrades and the last gen version is already dirt cheap.
I'm guessing they are hoping to see a spike in digital sales (which isn't as dirt cheap as the physical version) when the next gen upgrade launches. Maybe release some special edition with DLC hoping most people get it for the convenience instead of buying the last gen version and DLC separately.
